Just as he was about to lose consciousness, a voice brought him back to his senses.
"Ahhh!! No... help me!!" the scream woke Peter from his pain and helplessness.
A strong feeling that someone precious to him is in danger causes Peter to be possessed by an unknown power.
Boom!
The golden flash of light blinded everyone, the evil werewolves were hit by the light and were thrown a few meters away from where Peter was.
Peter was fully awake, he got up and stood up. He looked at the position where some of the evil werewolves who had previously beaten him were lying on the ground with their mouths oozing blood, no one knowing what was really going on.
"What's this?" asked Peter, confused.
He looked at his hands which were covered in golden light. Then he looked around his body which was also covered with the same light.
"Is this my power?" asked Peter cluelessly.
"How come?? Where did this power come from?!" asked Peter increasingly clueless.
"You!! How is that possible?! How is that possible?!" shouted the leader of the evil group with a frightened face.
Among the five werewolves who attacked him only the leader didn't attack him, he only ordered his men but that didn't mean he was innocent.
Peter saw the werewolf leader's face full of fear and felt even more confused. Could it be that the person in front of him knew something?
"Hey, you." said Peter coldly.
The werewolf leader was getting more and more frightened, he walked backwards in fear, away from Peter with a pale face, unlike before when he ordered his men to beat Peter with a proud face.
"Stop right there!!" cried Peter in annoyance.
The man suddenly stopped and no longer walked backwards away from Peter as before, but his face was still pale and his eyes looked at Peter as if he were looking at a monster.
"What creature are you?!" shouted the werewolf leader in terror.
"Me? Why do you ask when you already know the answer." said Peter, frowning disapprovingly.
"I do not know!!" said the man increasingly frightened.
"Tsk, I'm of course a werewolf!!" shouted Peter angrily.
"No!!" said the man excitedly.
"Huh?! What do you mean no??" asked Peter disapprovingly.
"You're not an ordinary werewolf, there's no werewolf, let alone a Beta who has terrifying powers like you." said the man again looking at Peter sharply.
He was scared but he still tried to fight that fear, this man made Peter respect his determination a little but that didn't mean he forgave this man's mistakes.
"Explain to me why you are scared like that? Where was your arrogance before?" asked Peter mockingly.
"I don't know!! I just feel really scared when I see you, like...like...right! It's like seeing a beast in a forbidden area." said the man again in a frightened tone.
"Nonsense!! If you're really afraid to look at me, why did you attack me so arrogantly before?!" Peter asked again angrily.
"Right. You...you...what are you doing?! Before you didn't have this dangerous aura and power." said the man again pointing at Peter.
"I am not doing anything." said Peter with a straight face and a cold tone.
"Impossible!! Definitely...true!! Explosion!!" the man said rolling his eyes.
"Explosion?" asked Peter cluelessly.
His consciousness was almost lost before, when a voice calling for help that woke him back up was heard, an explosion did occur but Peter didn't notice it because he wasn't fully awake yet. Meanwhile the man was too frightened to remember the strange outburst that happened suddenly.
"A sudden explosion occurred. All of my men were blown away by the explosion and lost their lives." said the man even more frightened when he recalled the terrible incident that had happened a few minutes ago.
Peter was silent, because he didn't remember anything about the explosion, he couldn't feel or understand the feeling of fear of this man before him.
"I didn't hear any explosions, stop talking nonsense." said Peter getting impatient, his tone growing colder and his aura getting more terrifying.
The man gulped, how could he not realize that this boy in front of him was so scary?? Instantly he regretted, he regretted having taken up this task and made this boy in front of him his enemy, all the arrogance he had been holding on to all along was gone.
"Forgive me, I'm not speaking nonsense, I'm speaking the truth sir." replied the man prostrating himself in front of Peter.
Peter was dumbfounded, he didn't know how to react to this sudden change in the man in front of him.
"Why are you suddenly being polite? Disgusting!" said Peter coldly.
"No sir. You must believe me." said the man again.
"I'm asking you, why are you suddenly being polite? Didn't you want to kill me earlier?" asked Peter with a straight face.
"Master!! How can my lowly self kill master." said the man quivering, he was still prostrate on the ground more and more burying his face in fear.
Peter sighed, the golden light surrounding him still hadn't dissipated and this man could only speak nonsense. But from all that happened, Peter finally concluded something, that he unexpectedly, awakened mysterious power and all this thanks to the girl's voice that echoed in his mind.
"Girl?" muttered Peter as if he realized he had forgotten something.
"Right!! That girl!!" said Peter a little panicked.
How could he forget that girl?? What a recklessness, even though the girl didn't realize it but Peter owed her one life this time, there's no way Peter would let something bad happen to his life savior!!
Peter turned to the man who was still kneeling in fear then said, "You stay here."
The man remained where he was, neither making a sound nor moving. Peter was a little annoyed with the man's attitude.
"If I don't find you here when I get back..." Peter paused as if thinking about what nice words he should say next.
"I'll make you regret it." said Peter again.
Even though he had a cold demeanor and face, Peter was still a pure boy who didn't have much experience, only simple words like that could come to his mind at this moment.
Without waiting for the man's answer Peter immediately ran towards what he believed was where the girl was.
Meanwhile the man raised his head when he felt that the terrifying aura had disappeared. He looked around and couldn't find the boy who had frightened him anywhere, he breathed a sigh of relief. But before he could enjoy his free time he remembered the last words the boy said before leaving.
"I'll make you regret it."
Recalling those words, the man's face paled and he subconsciously cursed, "Damn!! What have I done to get involved with such a horrible thing."
The man scratched his head and ruffled the hair on his head in frustration. After that he returned to prostrate as before, not moving like a dead person.
