"What if we can't get out of this forest?" said Ana with a frightened face.
"Stop talking nonsense." said Peter glaring at Ana.
Ana looks annoyed at Peter's attitude, why is he angry? Ana only said what she was worried about, was that wrong? Irritating!
"So what? The fact is that we really can't get out of this forest, we're just going around in circles right?" said Ana a little annoyed.
She was a little emotional, for Peter indeed the things she was talking about and feared were silly things but for Ana who had already been trapped and wandered in the same place alone, she was on the verge of despair.
"Let's find another way out." said Peter still optimistic.
Ana rolled her eyes in annoyance, she had told him what had happened to her before, right? Why doesn't this brat also understand that the two of them are trapped in this strange forest?!
Ana doesn't say anything else, she follows Peter looking for a way out, hoping for a miracle to happen. If the same thing still happen, Ana plans to laugh and ridicule Peter later. Thinking of this, Ana smiled happily.
Ana's smile caught Peter's eyes, in the boy's eyes Ana's smile was not pleasing to the eye, he was worried that the little girl had gone crazy and in the end smiled alone for no apparent reason, so he was kind enough to wake up the smiling little girl.
"Stop that smile, you look terrible." said Peter with an expressionless face.
Ana snapped out of her thought and glared at Peter with pouting lips. She berated this boy in front of her in her heart.
"Cold boy! Walking stone! Mood spoiler! No feelings!"
"I want to rip his mouth that speaks so casually."
"He is sucks! He can't respect women! I want to kick him to the moon."
There were so many abusive words that Ana spoke in her heart. But in the end she only mumbled words in the form of simple grunts to channel her hatred and anger.
"So annoying! Can you please not disturb my happy time?" muttered Ana in annoyance, her voice low but Peter could still hear it.
Peter had no intention of responding to Ana's muttering, he had no intention of wasting any more time now that Peter sensed the strangeness of this forest, he became alert and automatically ignored the little girl whom he had spoiled her happy time earlier.
Awuuu.... Awuuu...
There was a terrible sound that gave Ana the chills when she hear it, while Peter became even more wary.
"W...what's that sound?" asked Ana, shaking slightly.
Peter glanced at the little girl beside him who looked pale. The girl gripped Peter's shoulder tightly without her noticing. Peter pulled Ana closer to him and made Ana stand behind him, the boy instinctively protected the little girl he was with.
Ana was silent, she was a little surprised by Peter's sudden attitude, especially this was the first time she had this close physical contact with the opposite sex. Ana is a little nervous but quickly hides it. Somehow Ana felt safe in Peter's arms.
"If I heard correctly, it was the sound of a wild wolf." said Peter again answering Ana's previous question.
After hearing Peter's statement, Ana became more and more afraid and alert, unconsciously she was getting closer to Peter's body.
Soon, as Peter had expected, several unkempt and dirty looking wolves with fierce auras and fierce gazes were seen in the distance.
Peter narrowed his eyes, wild wolves are only around the forbidden area, what are these wild wolves doing here?
The wolves ran towards them at a very fast speed, Peter and Ana did not have time to react to hide from the sight of the dangerous wild wolves.
Peter stood firmly protecting Ana who was behind him, while Ana drew closer to Peter's body and subconsciously held the boy's shoulders tightly.
But unlike what the two of them thought, the pack of wild wolves just ran past the two of them and stayed on the path they were on without turning back or running to where the two of them were.
Peter and Ana looked at each other, then Ana whispered to Peter, "What happened? Didn't they see us?"
She was afraid that the pack of wild wolves would return again so she deliberately lowered her voice and whispered to this boy in front of her.
"I'm not sure, even if we're out of sight they should still be able to smell us. It's as if they passed by us and can't see or smell us." said Peter in answer to Ana's question.
"Don't you think that's weird?" asked Ana again, still glancing at the direction the pack of wolves disappeared in the distance.
"I think it's weird. What's really going on??" muttered Peter, frowning.
This situation was really unclear, he should have known this forest like his own backyard, but now why did this forest feel so foreign and strange.
"We...we better quickly find a way out of this forest." said Ana increasingly worried.
"Yes you're right." said Peter nodding.
The two of them again decided that they had to get out of this forest immediately and not think about this strange occurrence that was happening non-stop. They could only take it as a blessing from the Moon Goddess protecting them from danger.
"Let's try walking that way." said Peter suggested.
Ana nodded, trying to go through the path they remembered was no use, it was better to find another way than to keep going round and round in the same place without a clear direction.
They walked in the direction Peter suggested, but they hadn't been walking long, about a meter from where they had been. Peter and Ana seemed to hit something.
"Oww...what is this?" shouted Ana when she felt her forehead hit something, the poor girl rubbed her forehead which was a little sore, luckily she didn't run, if she ran Ana can't imagine what would happen to her forehead.
Peter didn't scream, but his forehead wrinkled, he also felt like he hit something, his forehead also hurt a little like Ana, but Peter just let it go.
Peter groped for something in front of him, he had a surprised look on his face when he felt an invisible wall that seemed to be the thing the two of them had hit with their foreheads.
"It's an invisible wall." said Peter in a serious tone.
Ana looks at Peter and sees the boy's hand groping for something invisible in front of him, Ana instinctively follows what Peter is doing and is surprised to find the same thing as what Peter found.
"You're right. Can't the wolves see and smell us because of this wall?" asked Ana subconsciously deducing the cause of the problem that had plagued them both before.
Peter looked at Ana, he raised an eyebrow, this girl is quite smart, it seems that this wall is the reason they both survived the danger of meeting a pack of wild wolves.
