Chapter 22 - Am I dreaming?

The atmosphere became awkward ever since Ana decided to ignore Peter completely, no one else spoke and the atmosphere became quiet and desolate.

"Ah!" cried Peter suddenly.

"What is it?" asked Ana instinctively.

"I am hungry." answered Peter, grinning innocently.

Ana glared at Peter with a sullen face, this boy is really annoying!

"Can't you be serious? We're in trouble and now's not the time to think about eating!" shouted Ana a little angry.

"Yes...yes...sorry." said Peter again in a tone that didn't sound apologetic at all.

Ana is tired of dealing with this annoying boy. So she again ignored him again.

After that the two of them again groped the invisible wall to find a way out.

As Ana and Peter expected, the invisible wall was indeed a box but as to why and how it came to be here, in the middle of the forest, neither of them knew the reason.

"We're really stuck here." said Ana as they went back to the previous tree and sat there to rest.

"Well...there's nothing we can do about that wall." said Peter in reply to Ana's words.

"This frustrates me. What's really going on with this forest?!" said Ana complaining.

"How so? What should we do now?" said Peter thoughtfully.

The two sighed, their brains working hard to think of the right solution to this problem, but no matter how hard they thought about it, they still couldn't find the answer to this problem.

Really, this is too weird. In the forest where there are only animals and rarely seen humans, a wall appears that can't even be seen with the naked eye, how to solve this strange problem?!

Ana and Peter were really frustrated because of this problem, when both of them were having trouble thinking how to get out of this forest, a golden yellow light appeared in the distance.

"What's that?" asked Ana immediately standing up from her seat when she saw a familiar golden yellow light.

Ana turned her gaze to Peter, they both looked at each other then saw the same curiosity in each other's eyes.

"Want to see it?" asked Peter offering.

Ana nodded excitedly, after all there is nothing they can do here, it could be that the golden light is their hope to get out of this strange forest.

The two finally decided to examine the golden yellow light and walked towards the direction where it appeared.

When she got there, Ana saw a mysterious path that had led her to this strange forest all of a sudden. Ana and Peter looked at each other again.

"Is this...a path?" asked Peter uncertainly.

"This path is a mysterious path that led me to this forest." said Ana with a surprised face.

Peter narrowed his eyes, looking like he was thinking about something. Ana who realized that couldn't help but ask directly, "What are you thinking?" she asked curiously.

"I was just thinking about that wall." said Peter in answer to Ana's question.

Ana was silent, after thinking for a moment she again asked a question, "Want to try checking it out?"

"Nah..."

Peter looked doubtful, his eyes looking anxiously at the mysterious road shining with golden yellow light not far from them. Ana finally understood why Peter had hesitated to go check out the invisible wall.

Ana sighed, it seemed there was no other way, they had to separate here. Peter was worried the path would disappear once they left it so he looked doubtful.

"I'll wait here, you try to see if the wall is still there." said Ana at last.

Peter looked surprised.

"You're worried that this mysterious path will disappear if we leave it to inspect the invisible wall right?" asked Ana again as if she could read Peter's mind.

Peter sighed then smiled, it seemed he was too clear on what he was thinking. Peter looks at Ana again, looks hesitant for a moment but finally decides to go alone.

"Okay. You wait here. I'll be back." said Peter with a serious face.

Ana laughed, then she said, "Don't worry. I'll be waiting for you."

Peter then went running towards where the nearest invisible wall was he remembered, while Ana stood waiting for the boy.

But no one knows what will happen next. Ana did plan to wait for the boy, but she didn't know that the wheel of fate had already started.

The golden yellow light engulfed her and she disappeared from the forest leaving Peter alone. Peter and Ana just introduced each other by name without mentioning each other's surnames.

Peter does know where the village where Ana lives, but rather than being said, the village is more like a city and Peter of course can't go there, especially since it's located in the neighboring country of Lutherluke which makes things more complicated.

While Ana disappears on this side, Peter who checks the invisible wall finds something surprising, the wall mysteriously disappears. Peter took a long time to check and confirm.

By the time he returned to that place, he only found a faint golden yellow light and the little girl had disappeared without a trace.

What happened this time was really strange, Peter couldn't freely enter the city to look for Ana, especially since he didn't really know the little girl. Peter couldn't help but smile bitterly.

"Can we meet again?" asked Peter to no one.

Feeling that there was nothing he could do here, Ana disappeared even after an hour of waiting there was no sign of the little girl appearing and the invisible wall had completely disappeared.

In the end Peter decided to leave the forest and return to the edge of the forest to finish his business with the leader of evil werewolf from berfore.

"Is he still there?" mumbled Peter grinning.

Meanwhile Ana who was suddenly swallowed by the golden yellow light was very surprised and she returned to the Orde family garden just as she had left.

Ana looks around her, the maids are still playing hide and seek with her and she is still in the same position where she was hiding near the mysterious road but the mysterious path has disappeared again.

"I'm back? But how? And again why doesn't it seem like the time here has changed at all?" asked Ana in her heart.

This was obviously too strange, she was sure she had been missing for more than two hours, Ana wasn't sure but she must have been stuck in that forest long enough to cause a stir in her family.

But what is this? Why does time seem to stop here? She's not dreaming is she? Ana begins to doubt what is happening to her at this time.

"Am I dreaming?" asked Ana in her heart.
