Sob...
A small sob could be heard in the distance. An injured boy rushed towards the source of the sound without noticing the wound which was constantly bleeding, as if he felt no pain at all.
"Help!! No...help me!!"
This time a cry for help was heard again, the voice of fear made Peter a little anxious, he wanted to run faster towards the girl but the condition of his body that he was trying to hold in now started to hurt.
Peter kept trying to fight the pain that was in his body, he kept running tirelessly and in the end he made it to the place where he first met the little girl.
Peter saw the girl was battling two snakes that were quite dangerous there, she was surrounded by gray snakes with their heads up ready to pounce on their prey. The girl's face was frightened and pale, she held the long twig and tried to repel the two snakes.
Peter worked his hand and the golden light struck the two snakes and sent them away peacefully. Ana felt very relieved and finally fell down on the ground which was covered with yellowish red dry leaves.
"Thank..." Ana's words stopped when she saw not far from there, the boy she longed for and hoped to see again was there, standing not far from her who looked quite pitiful.
Bruk!
Peter fell, his body had reached its limit, the wound was not a minor one that even Peter could handle easily.
Ana woke up from her daydream, she had been stunned for a while. How could this kind of coincidence happen again? Is this really just a coincidence?? Ana immediately got up from her seat and ran to Peter, however this boy saved her again this time.
"Hey..hey...what are you doing?" asked Ana in a low voice.
"Are you okay?" asked Ana again.
There was no answer for a long time, Ana drew closer to the boy. Previously she had been running vigorously but after only a meter away from Peter, the girl stopped her steps because of a suspicious golden glow all over Peter's body.
"What's the matter with you? What is that golden light?" asked Ana again hoping this time it would be different from the boy not far from her.
But still no answer, Peter loses consciousness as soon as he saves Ana. Ana took a breath, bit her lower lip and closed her eyes after that she opened her eyes and walked slowly towards the unconscious boy.
"Oh no! He...he's bleeding!" said Ana surprised.
Ana struggled to pull Peter's body to lean against a big tree. She looked left and right for something useful to treat the boy, but sadly Ana couldn't find anything.
"What should I do??" mumbled Ana in confusion.
The boy was badly injured, there was blood everywhere, bruises also covered his body. Has he been beaten?
Ana is really at a loss as to what to do in this situation. She grew up in the castle and was spoiled by her parents and two older brothers. Ana had never been in the forest before, except for the time she accidentally got lost a month ago and also today.
"Try to remember the book you've read Ana, remember! Remember!" she said to herself.
Ana closed her eyes trying to remember aloud the contents of the books she had read.
"First I have to find water, but..." said Ana finally decided but she stopped her speech and looked at the unconscious boy again.
"Is it okay if I leave him alone here?" asked Ana with a helpless face.
###
On the other hand, the leader of the wolves that Peter had left behind remained in place and did not move.
Boom!
An explosion startled the man, dust and dry reddish yellow leaves scattered in the wind and appeared before him a figure dressed in black.
"W...w...what?!" said the man dumbfounded, he couldn't even speak fluently because he was too shocked when he saw that figure.
"Where?" said the figure in a voice full of bloodlust.
"What? What are creatures from the forbidden area doing here?!" said the man again frightened.
"Where?!" shouted the figure with a face full of cruelty.
The man immediately forgot Peter's words and ran scared. Why? Why is a creature that should be confined in a forbidden area here?
The figure immediately chased after the leader of the werewolf group who was running in fear, no one could see his steps only a flash of black shadow and he was suddenly in front of the man and grabbed the man's neck with his hand that has long black nails.
"Ugh!! Let go!! Let go of me!!" said the man trying to fight back.
The figure sniffed the man like a beast. Then he looked at the other four werewolves lying lifeless not far away.
"Close. He's close." said the figure again excitedly.
The man was still struggling, when he thought the beast was going to kill him, the figure said something shocking.
"Careless. Careless." he said again.
The man was dumbfounded, who was careless? What does this creature actually mean? But the man was wrong, the figure did intend to kill him, his grip on the man's neck was getting stronger and tighter, his nails were getting deeper and hurt the skin of the man's neck.
As the man's vision darkened and he nearly suffocated to death, a voice stopped the beast from killing the man.
"Let him go." said someone who came towards the two people in the middle of the forest.
The beast snorted disapprovingly but still let go of the man, he threw the man violently onto the ground covered in dry, reddish yellow leaves.
"Stick...blood...man...kill..." said the figure of the beast again.
"Don't kill. He was still alive for a reason." said the figure again approaching, this time he was dressed in white with black hair and red eyes.
The man who almost lost consciousness was very shocked, his eyes were perfectly rounded, he was fully conscious and tried to run again. What is that creature doing here? What really happened?! Why are beings who should not be free in this world appear one by one??
"Okay. Close. He's close." said the figure in black again excitedly.
"Yeah, you're right. He's close." said the figure in white smiling.
The figure in white turned his attention to the frightened werewolf leader.
"Surprised?" he asked grinning.
"What...what are you beasts doing here?" the man asked frightened.
"A beast huh? Is that what we're called?" the man asked again.
"Let go of me. Forgive me sir." said the man again pleading for his life, today he had twice done this shameful thing, but he had no choice, creatures that only existed in legends one by one appeared in front of him with a strong thirst for blood.
"The one with you. Where did he go?" asked the figure in white again to the werewolf leader in a cold tone.
