(At home)
Akira was rubbing her tummy as she went through the day relaxing. "Hey boo how are you and the nugget?" Her caregiver asked coming in the room with some bags of food she was craving. "We're fine" she smiled looking at her.
"Just waiting for you Dana." Akira said making her annoyed. "I know you didn't just say that." Dana said pointing her finger in Akira. "What you going to do about it?" She smiled as Dana did nothing to her as expected until she felt a pillow hit her face.
"I know you didn't do that." Said Akira who heard giggling. "And what if I did?" Akira got up from the bed, "Oh it's on now." Right as Akira started to throw the pillow her phone had rang.
"You're lucky but I'll get you next time." Akira said picking up the phone. "Hello this is Martinez." She answered waiting for someone to respond. "Ms. Martinez can you do me a favor?" She hears him say. "Of course sir."
"I believe I'm at your front door so please let me in. We need to talk." She felt her body freeze. The last thing she wanted was to let the person who ruined her to be a part of the child's life.
"I'm afraid I can't do that as of currently." She said trying to think up an excuse. "I'm currently not feeling well." She said getting a look from Dana. "Here you go babes."
Dana kissed on the forehead giving her a plate of Mac and cheese with ham and broccoli in the mix. "Thanks." She smiled at her as she remembered that she was son the phone with her boss.
"I'm sorry for interrupting your moment with your wife. I shall see you soon then." He hung up the phone. After he boss had left her house Dana kept aiding with the upcoming child to be born.
"I have to get going love." Dana said grabbing her bag. "Call me if you need anything." Dana gave Akira a death stare as being that Akira doesn't like not doing anything. "Yes mom." She said earning an eye roll from Dana.
Akira then laid back in bed. trying to figure out if her boss wanted to make a deal in secrecy about their upcoming child and became furious. She didn't want him anywhere near her child and if he wanted to not be a part of the kid's life that's okay she didn't need him anyways. She had everything she could ever need with her friends being there supporting and helping in any way they could.
