Brooklyn, New York
(neighborhood)
"Zander!?" Akira screamed out hoping to hear from the boy who had stormed out of her house. "Zander where are you??" she screamed hoping to get an answer. Akira was walking up her neighborhood hoping he was somewhere safe unlike herself. "Zander please be okay." she said quietly to herself as snow started blowing harshly around her.
"where could he be?" she said squinting her eyes to hopefully to see some form of his body around the area. As Akira was still walking around she felt her phone buzz in her pocket. "hello?" she answered. "Kira where are you?" Nora screamed worried. "I don't see Zander. is he back at the house?" Akira asked hoping for some good news. "No but Akira you need to come back it's not safe for you and the baby."
She sighed knowing that her friend had a point. "I'll be there soon." Akira hung up and decided to head back home and to resume her search tomorrow. As she started to head back to her house the wind started to pick up a bit harder making it trivial for Akira to see where she was going. "I got to head home." was the only thought running through her head as the snowy wind blasted through the air.
Walking on the side walk she felt someone's presence with her and she acted as if it was just a person who was headed the same way. but as she went to take a short cut she heard the footsteps of the other person follow behind her. That's when she began to panic. She picked the pace and started as the footsteps started to pick up as well as the snow started storming the skies and air making it unbearably hard to see anything.
"Stay away!?" she screamed as the figure got closer. she ran closing her eyes to prevent the cold air from hurting her sight. As she ran she couldn't see anything but wouldn't stop until she got home. Just as Akira got out of the alley shortcut she fell on a slab of frozen ice on the sidewalk hitting her head on the concrete. "help me." she said to the figure as it got closer. "help." she said lastly as she fell into an unconscious sleep.
