"Say what now?" Akira turned to look at Darian shocked. "I never said I hated you Akira, " he said stepping in the room with them. "you just infuriate me sometimes to the point where I want to scream and pull my hair out if I'm being honest. " Zander snickers earning a glare from both girls.
"if we can agree to be more civilized to each other and try to be friends I am pretty sure you and I in the later future might be able to be something more in the end of it." he said looking at Akira and her friends. "okay then Stone-Michaels you have a deal." Darian nodded at her as he turned to leave.
"speaking of which my parents are coming here soon." Darian added as he walked to a room that looked like an office. "What?!" Akira screamed in fear after hearing rumors about how scary his parents were to people. "Great now I'm not only dealing with one demon but now I'm dealing with Medusa and Hades aka his parents." Akira began pacing. "Are they going to bash me and claim that I'm a gold digger? Who am I kidding they are definitely going to." Akira's anxiety started to rise at the thought of this happening.
"Akira please relax." Nora said calmly. "They'd be crazy not to like you let alone love you the way me and Zander both do." She said giving her a hug. "Unless you say something about how he forced himself on you and got you into your current predicament you should be fine." Zander said. Nora threw a look at him in annoyance, which did nothing to help Akira but raise her anxiety.
"I don't care if he does or doesn't like me but I would rather much like for his parents to be okay with me." Akira pacing a bit more while twiddling her thumbs. "Akira look at me okay ignore Zander and his antics to get you amped up," Nora place Akira's face in between her hands. you are going to be fine. His parents will love you because you are you." Nora kissed her cheek. "And if they make assumptions let them and then tell them as it is and who's really at fault. I'm sure that'll give them a reason to shut up." Nora said pointedly.
"Or they could buy her silence and make her give the baby away or sue her out of existence." Zander said receiving a pillow thrown at his head. "Can you be a little bit less annoying today Zander?" Nora asked as he rolled his eyes.
"I'm sorry but can you blame me?" he put his magazine on the table. "the first and last time the dude himself had a lover it was good until it wasn't." Nora glared at him. "I'm just saying the truth, so Kira doesn't get her hopes up." Zander put his hands up in surrender. "who was he with before?" Akira asked out of curiosity. "He was with Ariel Marie," He placed the magazine that had Darian and a strawberry blonde haired woman who looked about her age or older. "They were the IT couple back as of May of last year."
Akira puffed her cheeks as she looked at cover of the magazine looking at the women's features. She was definitely beautiful and looked the polar opposite of what she looked like. As Akira looked at the magazine she began to wonder if she would have ever been able to get someone if she had looked like her.
As she looked at the Darian in the magazine she saw a version of him she never saw in person. He was smiling and looking at the girl with love. It killed Akira to know that someone so handsome was once in love before and is cold to everyone because someone broke him.
"Look what you did Zander you made her cry." Nora said hugging Akira which took her out of her thoughts. "it's okay guys, I'm fine really. " Akira looked at the time. "You guys should get going I need to get ready to meet his parents." They both looked at her before getting up to leave. " text me if you need me okay darling." Akira nodded hugging Nora.
"Look I'm sorry I just don't want you to go in head first and not know what you're getting yourself into." Zander said patting her head. "After this call me so we can talk later." Akira nodded as her friends left the house. "Now to get ready for what might be the end of this whole thing."Akira waddles back to her room getting herself ready for the upcoming.
