After finishing our lunches, me and Serene went to our designated class schedules. But later we found out we signed up for the same class. At least class could get more bearable.
[-Room 238]
'Settle down, settle down students. Welcome to room 238 or what we call the "Arcanum", where we fascinate more about fabrication of reality. Now, before we start, let me introduce myself. I am the ever so intelligent sage of magics..
Ethan Raghnall' The grand sage proclaimed.
'My my, it's quite intimidating having the great sage as our professor isn't it?' Serene said.
'Ditto' Lyra replied.
'Now what is Magic? Is it not but the focal point of all existence? Can we really describe the arcane? Magic in its purest form is anything but an enigma. Hence we ponder these questions, and we will soon answer them.' The sage wittingly said.
'This class will be a real doozy..' Lyra sighed.
'It does peak interest to say the least' Serene replied.
'To answer these questions we must go over our basic principles of knowledge. Observation, Experimentation, and-'
The grand sage said as he was abruptly interrupted.
The door opened slowly as a person peeked in. It was a boy, average height, bushy hair. cute- I MEAN let's just focus on this class.
'Ahm apologies for interrupting Sir Ethan, I might've found myself a little lost earlier.' The boy said.
'tsk, no worries my boy, now go sit down.' The grand sage replied.
'oooh, looks like a little "someone" is distracted' Serene teasingly wisphered to Lyra.
'What?! no! I just got startled, that's all..' Lyra replied.
'Ah ahem- Miss Lyra, correct? Do you have something to share?' The grand sage said.

'OH, no I apologize for interrupting.' Lyra hurriedly replied.
'Well then since you're already standing, can you tell us what the 3rd principle of knowledge is?' The grand sage asked.
Flustered as Lyra was, she hesitated. Even though she knew the answer, she couldn't get it out of her tongue.
'Oh, Yes Alexander?' The grand sage asked.
(It seems that someone rose their hand to answer.. Thank goodness-)
Lyra froze again as she turned to see the boy who got lost earlier.
'Cute name, rightt Lyra?' Serene teased Lyra once more as she is still very flustered.
She didn't expect that he would sit right behind her and Serene's seats.
'The last principle would be Execution, Sir Ethan.' Alexander answered.
'Splendid, now you may both sit back down. Let's continue-' The grand sage said.
(Oh God my heart is beating faster)
'Are you alright Lyra?' Serene asked.
'Yea..' Lyra said embarrassingly.
As the class went on the grand sage continued to venture off into the subject of the fabrication of reality. How magic can create, but also destroy. The grand sage taught them simple combative strategies and abilities using the factors of creation magic. Such channeled magic of course needed precautions, and so they were also taught how to command said magical properties. And alas, class has ended.
As they were about to leave class with Serene already outside, Lyra accidentally tripped and stumbled to another student. And my oh my, if it isn't Alexander.
'OH MY GOODNESS SORRY!!' Lyra exclaimed.
'Oh, no worries. Here let me help.'
Alexander replied.
As the classic "their hands touched as they both went to pick up the fallen objects" occurred, Lyra was again way too embarrassed.
He laughed.
'you're so red, you look like an apple'
Lyra stayed silent, and is still blushing.
'Oh, I've got to go, I'm Alexander by the way, you can call me Alex, Till we meet again.' Alex said hurriedly.
Embarrassed as Lyra is currently, she ran to Serene and went back to their dorms, squealing like squirrels.

[Alexander's POV]
(Oh God class is about to start, I've really got to work on my time management. Wait-
What room was it again?!)
Alexander rushed to the school's bulletin which was 2 halls away from his dorm, it was quite a run.
Alexander read and skimmed the bulletin board and finally saw the room he was supposed to go to.
'Ok…let's go..' Alexander said while gasping for air.
Later he went to three bathrooms and a laboratory instead.
'Argh, I'll never make it to class. Gosh this school is so big.' Alexander groaned.
'oh wait- THERE IT IS!' Alexander exclaimed.
Tired as he was, he finally arrived, late but still made it.
The grand sage excused him for being late and went on with the class.
(Damn I hope I can keep up, this class seems hard..)
As Alexander walked up the stairs he looked at the people below his row and made eye contact with a certain person. It was a girl, scarlet hair, fiery eyes. Alexander then smiled at her. She looked away in panic.
Alexander then went and sat down.
The class continued as sir Ethan continued discussing. He went on very intriguing topics, I learned quite a lot.
The class ended, and as I went down the steps, I heard someone stumbling, when I turned my head, it was the girl, she was falling towards me. I quickly tried to catch her, I managed to hold on to her, though her books fell.
'Are you okay?' I asked.
I can see that she's really embarrassed, heh, she's as red as an apple.
'OH MY GOODNESS SORRY!!' The girl exclaimed.
'Oh, no worries. Here let me help.'
I replied.
As we went to pick up her books, I accidentally touched her hand. It was soft, and delicate. It was really cute seeing her turning even more red.
'you're so red, you look like an apple' I jokingly said.
She stayed silent. I guess I'll lay off from the teasing now.
'Oh, I've got to go, I'm Alexander by the way, you can call me Alex. Till we meet again.' I said hurriedly.
I went on and rushed towards my brothers who were waiting outside.
"Oh? someone's having an interest." Ny brother teasingly said.
'Shut up, let's just eat.' I jokingly said.
Though It's hard to stop smiling. I hope I can see her again.

[Lyra's POV]
After they finished chatting, they went to the school cafeteria to eat their dinner.
'Oh speaking of, look who's across that table.' Serene said to Lyra, teasing her.
'STOP! I'm already embarrassed as it is.' Lyra embarrassingly replied.
'Just messing with you, cheer up! The food looks delicious!' Serene comfortingly said.
Lyra quickly finished her dinner, and Serene followed up afterwards. Lyra dragged Serene back to the dorms, trying not to catch attention from anyone, and especially not from "that" one.
'Lyra, I have to go to the bathroom really quickly. Can you wait here pleasee?' Serene asked.
'Alright but please hurry.' Lyra replied.
Lyra went to the courtyard just outside the cafeteria to take a short stroll while waiting. It was peaceful and had a really nice view. She forgot how embarrassed she was. To her, this place is her heaven.
Under a large tree she took shade in. Cold breezes brushes her skin. She felt peace.
'This tree doesn't particularly bear apples but this one seems to have fallen from it..'
Startled as Lyra was, she opened her eyes to see "him" beside her.
It was Alexander.
