After the terrifying event happened Serene slept with a heavy feeling in her chest from her worries.
Serene woke up hurriedly as she was still worrying about Lyra's current situation. She got up eventually, took a bath, ate, and went to class.
Serene kept feeling this unsettling chill caused by worry. She shrugged it off nonetheless. She eventually finished her first class on schedule. Because of her worry, she kept visiting Ms. Dahlia's quarters awaiting an answer to her knocks, but every time she went it was silent, not even a single sound.
Her next class started, Serene was too distracted, but as much as she could, she tried to focus. Seeing as her distress is written all over her face she was approached by Alexander, he looked really tired and worked up, and also worryingly asking about Lyra. By 10:50 her next scheduled class started.
Her class eventually finished and lunch started. Serene's distress caused her to roam every corner of the school that is accessible. She found nothing, not even a strand of hair. Out of complete worry she also went to the library to inquire a seeking spell to help her on her search, Alexander later joined her as their next classes started much much later.
With as much effort as they tried they were led to a dead end, it almost had seemed that Lyra and Ms. Dahlia suddenly didn't exist. Serene decided to snap back as her next class was about to start.
"Goodness, where could those two possibly be.." Serene whispered as she sat through class. Words spiraled around her as she was lost in thought. "Her face.. she was terrified." Serene tried to comprehend the horror Lyra must've seen. With everything that she had tried, she couldn't do anything about it..

[Alexander's POV]
As he went back to his dorm he could help but worry about Lyra. 'I know we just met but why do I care this much about her, she probably just had a panic attack' Insane as Alexander sounded, he tried comforting himself about the current situation.
The night is as somber as it could get, and as late as the night is Alexander would have to eventually sleep because of classes tomorrow. That is.. "If" he can sleep.
'GOD, my head is way too loud. Lyra will be fine, let's just sleep this night away..'
As much as he struggled he couldn't get a hint of drowsiness. His head was too active from worrying, and some other mixed thoughts of what could happen.
It really wasn't looking good, it was way too late to stay up. He tried and tried but all his head was thinking was "Her"
Eventually he did fall asleep, but still woke up tired like he didn't get any at all.
His class did start somewhere near 8 or 9? He couldn't really keep track.
He would run out after class immediately to try and search for Lyra again, even Ms. Dahlia, he couldn't find. He did stumble across Serene as she seemed to be also searching for them, he helped of course.
This wild goose chase eventually led to nothing but tired legs from running around the school which was as big as 7 STADIUMS..
As much as they wanted to keep searching, class was about to start.

After their last classes, they went back to the library to find any information that can at least help them in any way. They did stumble into a book.. It was heavy and thick, Its pages wound to be about more than 9000 pages. Its cover was very ragged and damaged, the text was scraped, and the leather that was the body of the cover was all grazed. They found it in some crooked bookshelves in a dark secluded part of the Library. Hesitantly, Serene touched the side of the book cover and brushed off dust that accumulated atop. Serene gave it to Alexander and he opened it. Some words were written in a whole different language, unfamiliar to both Serene and Alexander. It wasn't Atlantean nor Sumerian, though those are just the few languages that are taught or familiar to them.
As much as they tried to understand, the words were far too incomprehensible, it was really far from the normal written characters that they grew up with and even the languages they learned. They had to rely on pictures and what they seemingly depicted. It gave eight descriptions of these personas, they look humane however. It says… wait no, it shows the elements or the aspects of this world. Hope, Love, Dreams, Power, Joy, Wisdom, Justice and..The last one was scratched out. The pages after it are ripped as well.

They shrugged it off and continued searching. As they went through and skimmed the pages of the book, it reminded Alexander of myths from his childhood. He said that in distant lands, there lay an island covered in clouds and mist that completely hides the island. It bears mountains that reach the heavens and pierces the firmament of the world. At the peaks lay the abode of these celestial beings that spectate over the mortal realm. There they stood guarding the knowledge that may bring destruction over the person whom found it, humanity, and even the universe. They say that the island only shows itself to those who these celestial beings deem worthy. He said that people usually worship them as Gods of their own respective rights, however, no one has really seen these beings nor the island. These stories and information that reaches the far depths of time, it just existed.
And to think that the said beings are to resemble these personas that lay upon this book. Who wrote this? Should this be here? And how do they know?
Their search only led them to even more questions. Serene speculated that one of these beings may have something to do with what has been going on.
After what happened to Lyra last night, weird things occurred. way too far from the ordinary life we have with magic. Books started falling without reason, Cracks started appearing on walls, crows started flocking on trees in the farthest reaches of the campus, and this unsettling feeling Serene has been enduring.
Something, someone, is watching..
