Albert pulled a chair out and gestured like a pure gentleman asking his lady to take the seat.
Mantisha gritted her teeth as she slowly removed the oversized sunglasses from her eyes, then put it in her bag. After that, very calmly she pulled the scarf out of her face, tie it around her neck, then she removed the shrug she was wearing and put it in her bag.
After that, she put her bag on the chair, and brushed her fingers through her hairs.
All this while Albert was holding the chair out, wanting her to take the seat. Then with no hurry, she took the chair he was holding out, pulled it a little more and finally took the seat.
"Care to explain?" A light, meek voice came just as Albert was going to take his seat. A slight frown appeared on his face, as he realised the determination spilling from her voice.
He looked at her face, she was still the same meek Mantisha he knew but why did it seem like she was slowly turning into the person he witnessed when the disaster happened on the party that day.
"I thought it would be better to have our lunch before going to the museum."
"You thought…" Mantisha placed her hands on the table and slowly leaned her body on it.
"So you brought me, a student who intends to survive in a foreign country through her scholarship and part time job, here, in a restaurant like this?"
Albert's frown deepened. "With me here, you don't need to think about the bill."
Mantisha's lips twitched at his words. Slowly she leaned back on the chair.
A waiter came to ask about their orders.
Albert eyed the menu as he told, "Two of today's chef special, and…"
"Not two, one of today's chef special. Whatever he orders, give those and for me…" Mantisha looked at Albert, as she muttered each of her words straight and clear, "A glass of water will do."
"This…" The Waiter seemed quite stunned. He looked at Albert, then at Mantisha again, wanting to confirm their orders.
Nobody said anything more, both of them were looking at each other like they wanted to read the thoughts of person sitting opposite of them.
Suddenly Mantisha looked at the Waiter and asked with a smile, "Hello! May I know, since when you are working here?"
"Miss!" The Waiter seemed puzzled as he looked at Albert. While Albert did not tell anything, he continued to stare at Mantisha intently.
"It's been almost one year Miss." The Waiter seemed to be confused, but still replied. He knew the man sitting in front, he was the one of the famous Young Masters of the Blacks, and of course one of those persons in the country who could not be meddled with.
Though First Young Master Black brought the lady here, but he did not know her. If anything happened, he was ready to take the side of him anytime, but to his astonishment, Young Master Black said nothing but staring at the lady in front of him. Thus he could not help but co-operate with the lady asking him question.
"That's great. Do you know, who this place belong to? Who is the sole owner of this restaurant?"
The Waiter became even more puzzled. What was she trying to imply. Brushing past the feelings, he nodded.
"Yes Miss. This restaurant belongs to Mr. Adi Roy. He is the president as well as the CEO of Roy's Food and Hotel Chain."
Mantisha smiled in response. "You may go now. Don't forget to bring First Young Master Black's orders soon."
The Waiter sighed in relief. Then nodded and left.
Mantisha looked back at Albert. A mysterious smile lingered on her lips.
"So, a even a waiter here knows who is the owner of the place." Her eyes glimmered with stubbornness.
"I wonder how much Young Master Black knows to bring me here of all places, from the other side of the city."
Albert's face stiffened. A not so visible frown appeared on his forehead. But he was quick to hide it. He kept being silent, and kept looking at her.
Mantisha could sense the tension forming between them. Inside, she felt that her heart was pounding hard. But till then, Albert said nothing. Neither did he admitted, nor denied. He just kept staring at her like he wanted to read the soul.
Mantisha also kept being silent. Straightening her back, she slightly leaned on the chair, and without breaking the eye contact, she put her one hand on the armrest of the chair. In an instant, her index finger started tapping the chair.
Though it seemed like she was counting the seconds, but in reality, this started to form a visible effect on the person sitting in the opposite.
Albert's frown deepened. He was a Young Master of a noble clan, since he was a child, ge had gone through numerous trainings and examinations. He had always scored well and kept his cool. But today, he did not know why, or how, this girl started getting into his nerves. She was clearly testing his patience. Her gaze was unwavering, which was very unlike of her, but with a hint of a mocking smirk on her face and her finger tapping on the chair, Albert felt like his patience was breaking. He was going to loose on this game of nerves.
After a long while, Albert suddenly smiled. His body started leaning forward as he lowered his head and smiled.
Mantisha's tapping of fingers stopped. She looked at him intently. Though he was not showing any sign but she could sense that his patience broke. Was he going to confess now? By the thought of him confessing the truth, her palms started to sweat. But she was not silly enough to show that. She maintained her expression.
"Beauty with brain hmm?" Albert cocked on of his eyebrows and asked playfully, the smile never removed from his lips.

Is he going to confess something?
Apart from knowing her identity, what else was wrong here. I don't understand. Do you?
