Letting out a long sigh, Mantisha continued to walk forward like a lost child.
"Is everything okay with her?" Megan looked at her back from a distance, seemingly worried for her friend.
"You should complete your sentence." Judy replied as she looked at her back too.
"What do you mean? I was just asking if she was okay or not."
"Mmm I know. But it would be better if you asked if her head is okay or not. You know, here." Saying this Judy pointed on her head and made a face, as she gestured of showing signs of being a retard. "Otherwise, why would she be like this. It's just a gossip news. She is too much of a nerd. She should put a pair of glasses on now and push it on her nose everytime when she wants to talk something serious. This would make her a perfect nerd."
"Which she already is." Megan retorted to her as she rolled her eyes.
"Yeah yeah, sure. Why not. She is our pride, our gem, the apple of Miss Margarette's eyes." Judy made a face again and Megan could not stop her laughter anymore.
"Ha ha ha ha"
Both of them looked back at the source of the laughter they heard, only to discover Vincent laughing out loud. Herbert seemed to suppress his laugh while Albert still looked non reacted.
"You are so funny. Just leave our history department alone, you know. You should go to an audition and you will be chosen as a comedian then and there." Vincent laughed his heart out.
"Oh I am honoured. Should I say thank you and bow down a little?" Judy said with a mocking tone.
"Since you are praised by Master Vincent today, you must buy some lottery tickets too. Just in case... You never know." Megan giggled.
"Haaahh sure, why not." Judy replied. "Hey, did you guys see the entertainment news channel? A story has come out. It was written in style of a fairy tale but everybody understood it was about Mr. Adi Roy's banquet..."
Judy continued her chattering while Vincent took out his cell phone and opened the browser. Multiple tags came out as the top searches about the news.
'What happened at the party thrown by Mr. Adi Roy?'
'Who is Madam Roy?'
'Miss Eberly's latest design.'
'Who is the girl wore Miss Eberly's creation?'
'Cinderella's true identity.'
'Who's reputation was put on line at yesterday's party in Port of Heaven?'
'Cinderella saved whom?'
The Black cousins frowned. Herbert grabbed Vincent's cell phone as he started to go through the news thoroughly, while Albert dashed towards the way Mantisha just went.
As he continued to go through the news, Herbert's frown became deeper and deeper. His fingers around the phone were tightened as his eyes brushed past the name of the news portal.
"It's City Lights, again!" Herbert muttered under his breath. Then he stuffed the cell phone back on Vincent's hand and dashed to the opposite direction of Albert.
Megan looked back and forth towards the retreating backs of Black cousins on both directions, then sighed.
"Men will be men!"
Judy also pouted, "And they say women are confusing."
Then she glared at Vincent and asked, "Don't you wanna run too?"
Vincent pursed his lips as he thought how was it his fault that both of the Black brothers ran away from there, as if they were chased by a ghost.
"Sure, but I would rather run for the braised pork ribs. And I am pretty sure, you want to run for it too." Vincent cocked his eyebrows to them.
"Oh sh*t! Megaaan... Let's ruuuuunnn...." Judy pulled Megan's hand as she started to dash forwards the serving center of their University's cafeteria.
