Btw I find this first part pretty cringe, but I left it in because it tells us more about Bones' character.

Two months later we were on another walk, and on that walk Bones told us that our father, Joe, was the one that showed him the cave, and had trained him, like he was training us now.
This came as a big surprise to me and Wille, then I finally understood what Joe might have meant the day he left.
"I wished that I could leave my old life behind me"
I was overjoyed, and I finally told Wille about what Joe said to me, but when I looked at him he was upset.
(fun fact about me I tend to copy peoples faces when I am confused -Haldo)
I made an upset face as well which made Wille even more upset. When I asked what was wrong he huffed and told me that I was always protecting him, and he didn't want me to do that any more, that he isn't a little kid anymore.
I was very confused, and Bones was even more confused than I was. He got even more confused when Wille ran at him yelling that he made dad leave.
Before he could tackle Bones I stepped in front of him and hugged him, and told him "I am sorry, I should have told you, but none of this is Bones' fault". Wille pushed me away with his head down.
Bones was still standing there and couldn't help but feel guilty. We perked up fast and were soon back on our calming walk.
While we were walking a dark purple gorilla came out of the ground and attacked us. Bones, without hesitation cut the gorilla in half from head to toe with his sword, like he had done it thousands of times before.
Upon inspecting said purple gorilla, Bones looked back up at us from his squatted position with a very similar face to Joe's when he left, and said "they found us".
Me and Wllie both had no idea what was going on. We had so many questions, why did a purple gorilla just come out of the ground? How did you kill it so easily and quickly? Why are you so scared of it? Bones brushed off all of our questions and told us to head home to the cave.
We still didn't understand why any of this was happening but we started back anyway. I looked back at Bones and saw his dark figure and a large yellow monster facing him. I turned all the way around and ran towards him to help him out.
He jumped up at the monster, slashing his sword at its neck, a huge gale-force wind came out of his sword vaporising the monster's head instantly, stopping me dead in my tracks.
The thing's body slumped down onto the ground. Bones turned around as if he was about to go into full on sprint mode and saw me standing there, and I get a very strong scowl and death stare in return. Which tells me that I should catch up with Wille now.
I start to run in the direction of the cave only to notice that Wille's made it back already, who also isn't very pleased with me.
Once we all made it into the cave Bones told us while panting to catch his breath. "that gorilla was a demon, and was created by Ares the god of war"
When Bones caught his breath he told us the story of the fall of the once great Olympians.
"All the way back when the gods were still alive, Ares proposed to Zeus the king of the gods, that they should create a new species of animals called demons to challenge the world of the humans and make them stronger. Zeus was in a bad mood so he smacked Ares for coming up with such an outrageous proposition and rejected Ares' idea. Ares became very mad at Zeus but was able to swallow the anger so that it didn't go out of control. But Zues hit him again, scolded him and told him to leave. All the Olympians started laughing at Ares, and Ares couldn't control his anger and shoved his spear into Zues stomach. Mortality wounding Zeus and incapacitating him. The whole room which was just filled with hysterical laughter fell completely silent. Ares yelled at everyone "I am so fed up with all of you rejecting me at every chance you get! If any of you scaredy cats want to challenge me as the new king of Olympus, come out now!". All but three stepped off their thrones, but none of them were quite as battle-ready as Ares, they couldn't channel their anger into a weapon and ran at him haphazardly. He knew that he couldn't take on all of the Olympians at once, so he tried to make them as all over the place as possible so that he could kill them off one by one instead. Once the bloodbath ended, Ares came out victorious but very injured, and he looked over the ones still sitting on their thrones: Athena, Apollo, and Hera. Unbeknownst to them all, the big three (Hades, Poseidon and Zeus) were not completely finished off, and with their dying breath, banished Ares and the others from Olympus forever and released their powers into the world. Hoping that the three people whom had newly found powers, would rise up and defeat their once friend Ares and his new underlings. These three are the ones called The Three Fates, and are destined to fight Ares." Dramatic pause… "We are those three people" .
Me and Wille were completely shellshocked, but that didn't matter to Bones, once we had finished storytime we packed up our food and water and were right out the cave.
We walked for a bit reminiscing about all the fun and not so fun times we had here. Once we made it into the middle of the field just outside the forest we used for our 'sparring'. Bones stopped walking and turned around to look at us, saying "you have trained very hard and very well, you have become much stronger than when we first met, and now it is time to put you to the test, any second now hundreds of demons will come out and attack us, so be ready".
We took a deep breath clearing our frantic minds, Then out of nowhere and without warning tons of purple animals dropped from the sky surrounding us, and when dust cleared the fight began.

This chapter is pretty short but I am not great at writing, so I want to make smaller chapters that are hopefully better than long bad ones. Also I know the whole thing with Ares killing all the gods isn't very realistic but just go with it
