Chapter 30 - 30. Fake Detective

-The Best Valentine-

So the middle man is not easy, more bad luck than lucky.

A tight friend who is unfortunately being invited to be a small-scale detective.

--------------------------------

Gilang does not know what is in the brain of Bintang Pradipta. After a full week of not talking to him, this morning the rancid boy came to his house.

Unmitigated, the man even asked for his help to oversee Erlang and Maura's impromptu date.

According to a theory that doesn't know where it came from, the Stars firmly believe that if they aren't monitored directly, things will happen that they don't want in quotes.

His best friend didn't even understand his feelings that there had been an intention to sleep all afternoon, considering today was the weekend.

As a result, here he is. So the sneaky detective watched a young couple arguing inside, with a baby in his arms.

"You don't really like Maura do you?" somehow the thought of a jealous Bintang immediately crossed his mind.

"No! I just feel sorry for her, it's dangerous if she really takes Erlang seriously."

Maybe according to Bintang, Erlang is too evil to play with Maura's feelings. But according to Gilang, it was Bintanng himself who suggested it, right?

"Talking about Erlang and Maura. You're not really engaged to Sella, are you?"

Bintang rolled his eyes, "No, it's just a trick. I just want Erlang to be upset." The man chuckled softly. He glanced at Gilang's frozen expression.

"Gi, just kidding Cave." Bintang exclaimed.

Shucks!!

Gilang snorted in annoyance, "Your joke is not cool, it's original!"

It's just crazy, because of Bintang's version of a joke, he is afraid to run here and there to extinguish the fire of the cold war that has lasted this week.

'Bintang have no morals!'

Gilang rubbed his face roughly. Debate after debate re-colored their eavesdropping action from earlier until someone's voice introspected them.

"Err ... um, sorry, my baby is safe with them right?" asked the only woman who had been just listening to her two impromptu colleagues.

"So, borrow it again, mam. It'll be turned over later, it's safe." Gilang gave a friendly explanation.

'Who has any idea who intervened, Damn !!

-------- The Best Valentine------

Erlangga looked at his watch, it had been a long time since they had waited for the baby's parents to come out of the toilet, but in reality there had been nothing so far.

The man occasionally observed Maura, who was joking with the baby in her arms.

He furrowed his brows, wanting to smile too but he held it in. Even though the little baby's face was very beautiful. Brownish red hair with thin lips and slanted eyelids.

His skin was very white, almost resembling his pale skin. Definitely different from Maura, who was a little dark.

"Maura!"

The girl looked up, "Why?" she asked.

"It's been over an hour, and the baby's mother has shown no sign of her coming."

Maura glanced at the clock on her cellphone, she nodded in approval. Glancing at the toilet, it seemed impossible that the mother had not finished.

Maura sighed softly. "I'll look for it first, leave this baby for a moment."

Maura got up and approached Erlang so that he could take the baby in Maura's arms.

Erlang overreacted, "I can't and never take care of a baby." he exclaimed quickly.

Erlang vehemently refused, in his entire life he had never come into contact with a baby.

Her mother was a stump as was his father. Obviously he didn't have a close baby sibling either then or now.

"Hold Lang for a moment, while I look for his mother."

"I can't, Ra! What do you want to kill me, no!" Erlang shook his head. The thought of just touching a baby had never crossed his mind.

Maura hissed in annoyance, her lips pursed. "Just a moment, Erlangga Lorenzo. Not even ten minutes!"

"Why don't you just bring it, even if you meet your mother, you just have to give it up."

"You have the heart to see me carrying a bag with the baby here and there? Or just like this you can come with me to the toilet and bring the bag."

"No!! You just accidentally asked me to go to the girl's toilet, never!"

Maura was desperate. Accepting the baby was indeed her fault, but at least her date helped her, not much, just a little is okay.

Like replacing him with a baby, for example.

Seeing Erlang's expression which was twice as pale as his natural skin color made Maura sigh heavily.

"Lang, just carry him, he's not fussy either. Just a moment, all of you practice. Who knows one day you have a baby, and your wife is busy." Maura coaxed in a half whisper.

Erlang still stared, "I don't want to. Even if I have a baby, it's still twenty years from now, not now." he snapped.

Maura was out of her mind and irritated at the same time. Even Gio, the palakmaker's cousin, doesn't mind being put in charge of his little brother who fusses about asking for anything.

"Whatever!! Let's be honest, I feel sorry for the fate of the woman who will become Lo's wife later." Maura pulled Erlang's hand forcibly. Put the baby on Erlang.

"Hold on!!"

"Yah!! Maura!!" shouted Erlang disapprovingly.

After saying that Maura rushed to the toilet, he didn't care about Erlangga who was gaping not elite.

Inevitably he was forced to carry a baby who suddenly cried because of Maura's screams.

Damn it!!

-------The Best Valentine--------

The sound of heels rattled along the narrow corridor leading to the toilets. There were not as many visitors as this afternoon, almost no one passed him in the direction of the toilet.

Maura slowly opened the door. His black irises caught the one still closed chamber.

Maura approached him, knocked briefly. "Excuse me, madam ... it's me who was entrusted to your baby."

No answer. There wasn't even a sign that someone was in the room.

"Err… Madam?" Maura exclaimed, starting to panic.

Maura slowly opened the door. His eyes immediately bulged when he found no one behind the booth.

Degh..

Maura ran, checking the other rooms one by one, hoping to find the baby's mother. At least the mother fainted, but in fact there was no sign of anyone in the toilet other than her.

'What's this?'

Maura ran out of the toilet, she asked the receptionist and also the cashier. But no one answered according to his expectations.

Finally Maura walked languidly with a pale face to Erlang. He looked at the back of the man who was holding the baby quietly. However, it was clear that he refused.

"Erlang.."

The man turned his head, his pale face still the same as before, even paler.

"Found her mother?"

Maura glanced, she walked closer. "No Lang, no one in the toilet."

Degh..

Maura told Erlang everything she had experienced earlier.

"Are you sure he's human, right?" Erlang asked. He glanced at the baby in his arms with horror.

"Are you still scared?"

Erlang glanced, that's not the problem. The man sighed heavily, looked at Maura with a desperate look, "Err… Maura, I guess I have a big problem."

Maura furrowed her brows in confusion. He followed Erlang's gaze, directly below. His eyes bulged, wanting to laugh and wince for a moment.

"The baby is wet." Maura shouted while Erlang cursed harshly.
