Baby's POV
"Here it goes," Roland whispered.
"Your dad might have discovered something and I believe he knows what he is doing," Roland seethed.
I was angry, I could hardly control it as my claws stick out. Roland rolled his eyes. Warning me I can't get out of control in Nancy's presence. The poor thing is already freaking out.
The thought of how she may react if she found out about my identity made my stomach scrunch. 'So he is the new mysterious guy torturing werewolves?' I muttered. Not loud enough for Nancy to hear.
"Did you say, something Baby?" Nancy asked. How ironic, the man I'm looking for is Luna's father but he has to pay for this.
"What do you think?" Nancy asked again, how do I tell her I want to slay him?
"Huh, hm, this is silly Nancy, your father is crazy to think werewolves do even exist much less experiment on them. This only happens in movies," I lie in between my teeth.
Roland is bent on telling Nancy what he knows. I wish I could press my claws into his neck so he will shut up. Obviously, I can't at least not now.
"This is different, it looks real," says Roland. This guy is getting on my nerves, I have had it with him.
"Listen, Nancy, I think you shouldn't be messing around with your father's things, this is serious and he might get angry if he catches you," I muttered.
"That's the point, he has spent his entire life on something that isn't real. I just don't get it," Nancy complained as she sit on the sofa with Leo at her feet. Now I have to deal with him too.
"We can investigate if you want," Roland suggested.
"Relax, and don't lose your head over this, it's pure nonsense," I manage to get her mind off it but she still had her doubt. I can't tell you how worried I am right now for obvious reasons, she said she didn't mind becoming a werewolf but looking at her reaction now and how frustrated she looks, she will never accept me for what am. She probably said that because she thought werewolves don't exist. I drag Roland with me before he puts more stupid ideas into her head.
I couldn't wait to be alone with him.
"What the hell wizard! What are you trying to do?" I growl at him, he has grown wings. He walk past me and not my howls scared him. He wasn't bothered.
"Soon or later she is going to find out what you are and when she does..." he muttered. He had a point.
"Before that I…" he stopped me, he clearly knows what I was about to say. "What you will turn her?... Imprinting on her is not enough and now you want to turn her. Over my dead body," he said firmly.
"Is that why you made that bracelet for her? That is already wearing off. The closer I get to her the faster it wears off and soon not even that will stop me," I growl as he remains calm.
"I know that," he replied.
"So..." waiting for him to tell me what he plans on doing next to stop me from getting close to her.
"Just wait and watch," he responded wriggling his eyebrows as if it was going to help me guess his next move. I know I can't hide the truth from her forever but I hope I have enough time to spend with her because she might hate me soon. Regardless if she accepts me or not I can not leave her alone, she can only be mine even if it means forcing her to stay with me.
