Chapter 11 - ENYA

Enya checked the time. Xavier is probably on the pest's house by now, sweeping him off his feet with the cheesy throwing of rocks on the pest's window.

[Enya: text me as soon as u get him down the café so i can pour coffee all over him] The girl texts her friend. She could not herself from being excited. The girl was literally on cloud nine with how excited she was!

Finally, just a little bit more and she can finally get rid of the only and constant nuisance to her finally getting rank one!

The girl continued cackling inside her room, not noticing how her younger sister entered the room silently holding a stuffed bear.

"En-en?"

Enya's evil cackling was cut short when she heard the tiny voice. She immediately composed herself and turned to her sister with a small smile. "Yeah? What is it?"

"Why are you cackling like a witch?" The younger of the two asks her older sister, head even tilting to the side a bit.

Because your sister's finally gonna get rid of this certain boy who has always been a nuisance in her academic life.

Obviously cannot be a possible answer to a six-year-old who probably does not even know what a nuisance is or why could anyone be a nuisance to someone else's life. Or maybe she knows. Enya knew she should not underestimate her younger sister for she might end up even smarter than Enya is with how brilliant she is.

Enya crouched down to her little sister's level and gently caressed her cheeks and pinched them. "I'm just practicing for my lines,"

Sure. For a witch.

Helena frowns, her cute eyebrows furrowing. "But you're too pretty to be a witch!"

"Can't witches be pretty and mean at the same time?"

Like me for example, Enya thinks. The girl didn't bother denying the accusations thrown at her for having a bad attitude. First of all, they certainly were not accusations, they were harsh truths. And she knew how people talked behind her back often, how they would say good things to her face especially whenever she was with Jest and Xavi, but when she was alone or with somebody else, especially another guy, it's easier for people to talk shit and create annoying rumors.

Not that the girl cares. Two-faced people and leeches are the least of her problems.

Thankfully, her sister asked nothing else. Enya then realized that the reason why her younger sister entered her room was that their mother was already calling them downstairs for breakfast before the three, including the older half-brother of the two sisters, will be off to school.

"Did you wake Ezekiel up?" Enya asked her sister as they made their way downstairs, the older of the two making sure her younger sister won't fall as the latter was skipping one step at a time.

Helena shakes her tiny head. "Nope," She says, popping the "p". "Mama told me not to since he had a rough night yesterday."

Enya dismissed the thought of rolling her eyes. Ezekiel, her older half-brother by three years, obviously did not have a rough night. It was more of him having fun and having another one of those lecherous nights with his friends and his recent girlfriend who honestly looked like a hooker.

But of course, Helena can't know that. Enya did not want to ruin the image their youngest sister thought of his older brother since she had always been close with him in ways that Enya could not and would never understand. Enya just decides that it's probably because Helena was still very young when their father married their mother and brought this older kid out of nowhere and told them that the kid was apparently their older brother.

"I'll do it," The older of the two girls said the moment they were at the dining room and she noticed how he still wasn't there. She saw her mother smile at her in gratitude for what she offered. Despite being married to their father for ten years, her relationship with her stepson still hasn't improved. They were often at odds with one another, Enya thinking it's probably due to Ezekiel's mother talking shit about them.

However, the girl cannot blame her. Their father did constantly cheated on Ezekiel's mother before he finally settled down on Enya and Helena's mother.

"Ezekiel?" Enya knocked at the older boy's door. When the boy did not respond after five knocks, she decided to push the door open to wake him up by herself.

To the girl's shock, her half-brother was naked. Butt naked.

"What the fuck?!" Enya shrieked, tripping over some random clothing and falling to the ground.

Her sudden outburst woke up Ezekiel, who groggily raised his head from one of his pillows. Upon seeing his younger stepsister's state, he raised an eyebrow at her. "The fuck you screaming at, brat?"

Did Enya mentioned that he and Ezekiel didn't have a very good relationship as well? If she forgot to mention, then they do not. They absolutely do not.

There was only one person that Enya hated more in the world as of the moment than the nuisance back at school and it was his very own older half-brother.

"Why are you naked?!" Enya asks angrily once she stood up from her previous position.

Ezekiel groans in obvious annoyance. "Why the fuck are you screaming so loudly in the morning for seeing a dick? Haven't you seen one before?"

Enya did not see one before.

"No!" Enya yelled again, making Ezekiel cover his ears with a pillow. "I have not and I have no plans to unless he is to become my husband!"

The older of the two looked at his stepsister, frowning. "You planning to be a nun?"

"It's called being traditional, jackass."

Unlike everyone's first impression of Enya, she wasn't keen on spending her days with random men and on random days of the week. Ezekiel was her exact opposite. He changed girlfriends (or sometimes boyfriends) almost weekly and one time their youngest sibling even asked Enya about another person was screaming inside their older brother's room. Enya had never screamed so hard at Ezekiel's face for he almost ruined their youngest sister's innocence with his perverted ways.

The girl's traditional approach to relationships was also one of the reasons why Enya and Jest broke up when they tried dating in high school. Before Enya became Jest's girlfriend, she made him promise to keep sex entirely out of the context of their relationship until they would be married. The boy was able to stay true to this promise until their second anniversary came around on where he admitted to Enya that he had actually been seeing another girl to have sex with her to keep his libido down whenever he was with Enya.

Enya had never cried so hard in her entire life.

The girl shook her past thoughts away and glared at her older half-brother again. "Can you at least wear your underwear?" Ezekiel rolls his eyes but does it anyway. "Breakfast is served downstairs, mom says we should eat together,"

Ezekiel groaned again and waved his hand, as if doing it would make Enya go away. "I'll be there,"

Enya knew that he probably won't be there on time, but told her mother about what he said anyway.

The two sisters were off the school the moment they finished eating. As soon as Enya dropped her sister on her school which was on the other side of the town, she immediately calls Xavier.

"Hey," Xavier was out of his breath.

Did he have sex with the nuisance or something? Ew. He definitely should have worn a condom or she would slap him in the face with a brochure that talks about the importance of condoms. "Hey to you too," Enya told the driver to get her a latte as they were already near Starbucks. "Why are you out of breath? Did you climb a mountain or did you climb him?"

She heard their driver laugh from his seat. He was already used to her bluntness from the five years he had been their family driver. Enya could almost see Xavier rolling his eyes.

"No," He exhaled sharply. Enya heard Rei's excited voice in the background. "Rei chose to eat on a restaurant near his apartment. Unfortunately, the restaurant was not near at all. It was very far but he insisted on walking to save money,"

"But you have lots of money," Enya deadpans.

She took Xavier's silence as him agreeing. The two of them had never been bothered to talk openly regarding their family's huge amount of money. Not that they were bragging, they were just honest. "Anyway, what time do you plan to go to school? It's an hour away from the gates closing."

Xavier sighs. "I have no idea," Enya heard the dork's voice again in the background telling Xavier to choose on the menu and sit down on one of the tables after. "I'm not even sure if I know what the dishes they serve here are,"

"Pompous ass," Enya teased, chuckling. She always knew how much of a picky eater Xavier was. It wasn't that he only ate expensive food or food served on high class restaurants, but he did had weird choices when it came to food. Like hating carbonara. Like, who hates carbonara?

"I'll order first," Xavier did not take the bait. "I'll call you later, bye."

Before Enya can even say goodbye, the asshat already dropped the call. She noted that once she sees him later as she arrives she will smack him in the face.

The ride to the university did not take that long. Enya said goodbye to the driver and was about to go to the library to study some of the subjects for the day but somebody abruptly grabbed her wrist and stopped the girl in her steps.

"What the--"

"Enya!"

Who?

A boy with dyed blonde hair was in front of her, looking at her with expectation and some other expression on his face. The girl was not able to explain what the expression was, but it was weirdly terrifying. As if he was planning something. However, Enya had to focus on how she had no idea who he is. Is he one of Jest's boy toys? Or one of Xavier's admirers? Or maybe he's actually one of her admirers who are usually obsessed with her? Hopefully not.

Not that Enya was bragging but she does have her own admirers. Their numbers were less than Jest's and Xavier's but they still were quite a lot.

The girl raised an eyebrow at the boy and pulled her wrist free from his hold. "Do you need anything?"

"W-What--"

"If you don't need anything, I have somewhere else I have to be,"

Since the boy didn't reply, the girl took it as a "no" and walked away, failing to see how the boy smiled in an unusual manner at her retreating figure.
