THE STRANGE CLUES
Gary calmed his mind next moment and his voice became cold completely unlike before.
"I didn't know what these Miss Is saying"
This time the bald man looked at park in interest while the lady started to frown. The average looking man looked at the lady, the later shook her head.
The average looking man once again looked at winter in curiosity and said slowly
"We are from government and this case was handed over to us. So we are investigating this case now and after investigating yesterday I heard that you were in that dark alley after the murder happened , Care to say why were you in that scene when there is restrictions that no one is allowed to enter there "
As he said that the three of them looked at him coldly. A invisible pressure pressed on him but his face was still cold like he didn't feel anything at all. His reaction suprised them because if others stood before them and bear their gaze they would automatically fell afraid and avoid eye contact subconsciously whenever they tell lie but this time they were taken back by winter indifferent face .
'Interesting'
The average looking man thought and slowly his right hand entered his right pocket without showing anything after that he removed his hand from the right pocket .
Even through externally he was showing calm and cold face but internally he felt different.
He was having hard time to choose whether spilling the truth he knew or saying nothing .
If he tells them the truth would they believe him that a strange cat like beast might be culprit? Or is it best to remain silent and just say that he didn't know anything ?
But if these people are handling these cases then they might know that it was strange case so if they somehow found out that he was lying then the problem will become something enough to send him jail so after some thought he decided to tell everything he knew to them .
As for they believing his words ? that's their problems not his .
" As you know that evening was raining so to get shelter I ran to that alley to avoid soaking in rain but suddenly at the end of the alley i saw a yellow pair of eyes looking at him silently but first I thought it was my imagination but when I deliberately looked at that direction then did I know it was a real pair of eyes looking at me but the strange thing is that as soon as I saw the eyes my whole body felt weak.... Like I was fatigued from all day running".
Hearing this the three of them became focused and the lady asked with a fast pace
"What was the eyes looks like ?"
Gary thought for a moment and said with uncertainty
"I think it's not human eyes because that eyes and vertical strips and it's whole body was hiding inside the trash bin . "
After pausing for a moment Gary rearranged his next words in his mind and said slowly
"What was strange that the trash bin was just too small for adult people to fit in it because the trash bin was just two feet height and I don't think that.....it was just not a normal animal too !"
The lady was focusing on him closely observing his expression and after a moment she said to him strangely
"Why do you think that's the yellow pair of eyes was the culprit and it might be some random cats or other animals? ."
Gray was silent for a minute while the three people waited for his reply . He looked at them and said coldly but this time his voice was filled with fear and uncertainty too.
"As I told you that when I focused on that yellow eyes my whole body couldn't move and my heart was beating furiously . That pair of yellow eyes was definitely not human but it could also be not normal animal too . The eyes were filled with intelligence , mysteries and hostility . That's the reason why I suspect that yellow eyes was not normal animal at all"
The lady said again with some convinced tone
"When we searched the whole alley we didn't find anything that fits to your description at all except a claw mark which marked from bottom to top wall .....so we can trust your words but now can you tell me why you bypassed the restriction ?"
Hearing this Gray shook his head
"I also don't know because I was deeply attracted and started walking towards it subconsciously"
He thought they won't believe his words but the three of them became silent which made him surprised.
'Dont tell me they believed what I said ?'
Even he didn't know what made him move towards its direction at that day.
The average looking man raised his head and once again looked at the lady. The lady was still frowning when she looked at Gary, after seeing the average looking man questioning gaze she looked at Gary and said in confused tone
"How did you managed to block your thoughts?"
Gary looked at her with a cold smile while thinking in his mind
'I thought that she has some superhuman ability but all I have to do is keep control of my emotions and dont need to think anything at all .'
But he put on a innocent expression and said
"What are you talking about Miss ?"
The three of them looked confused and the lady was furious seeing him lying at them without blinking . Before she could say anything the average looking man said suddenly which made her pause but when she heard the next sentence from the average looking man she was surprised so did the bald man.
"Mr. Gary can you come with us and help us identify the culprit for us?"
Hearing this the two of the man companion were shocked and even Gary was frowning hearing this.
But the next sentence coming from the man made Gary agreed immediately
"Rest assured the $2000 rewards you can have it as long as you help us identify the culprit and If we successfully caught the culprit then you will also get extra reward."
Gary was currently in dilemma because his mind telling him that this people are not simple and his life will be danger if he joined towards them but he didn't want give up on this huge amount so he gritted his teeth and said
"Yes I will try my best to help you find the culprits"
The average looking man nodded his head and said to him
"Tonight at 8 Pm get ready we will pick you up"
Gary didn't have anything to do anyway so he agreed to that time.
After some conversation the three of them left while both having their own plans in their minds.
