Lyle grabbed his brother's shoulder while he held a comfortable stance in their great room that helped him transform his fervor as their sister, Ember, enjoyed the breakfast that she had delivered to their headquarters. The bygone lemon chiffon scholar watched the Aluin Trio during their morning routine. "Y'know, before I got into the service of the god of magnanimity, I was an ordinary fellow." The Trio heard as they were in their apartment chomping on breakfast, Lyle was listening to a hip hop song that was stuck in his head with his headphones in, Ember and Artus' reactions altered him to something behind him. The Trio was not happy to see this mysterious intruder in their home, so they brought up their guards. They were beyond unprepared and unprotected.
The Lemon chiffon scholar came into their sight suddenly. "I wasn't so exceptional for my folks in the slightest, unlike the few in this anomalous era, though." Advay added on as he had his hands in his jacket pocket. The Sangfroid paragon rushed towards his combat dagger that he laid on their kitchen table earlier. "Who are you?" Lyle asked with his calm tone, Advay was pleased to hear that question instead of them going on the attack. Ember conjured a great sword and held a stance. "And what are you even on about?!" Ember asked with a more aggressive tone.
The scholar nodded. "Questions before actions puts me over the moon. Continue to hear me out." Advay replied before he knocked them out by touching their shoulders, they fell like ragdolls. The Trio woke up in a strange castle, their first time in a castle, it was magnificent and clean. The bygone lemon chiffon scholar showed his smirk. "So, listen, these transformations won't have to be only seen in your dreams!" The bygone scholarly hero luminary cracked two of his knuckles before an abrupt appearance of a trio that looked startlingly accurate to the siblings yet dramatically older. Lyle And Ember skepticism grew regarding his intentions, the siblings kept on their guard as each tried to make sense of the situation. Ember stared daggers into the bygone scholar. "I recollected the fact that I saw you in Alyi and you just winked at me before ominously disappearing, what's your deal, short stack?" Ember confronted the bygone scholar as he inched the mysterious aged-up twins of the siblings closer towards them.
Holding a smirk on his face before he lightly chuckled. "Join me, when I take back some of Klese from this Josue fella, I'll train you kids and by the time you're this age, you'd have made the top ten, maybe five, of the most prominent as well as revered heroes in this fascinating world by the grace of the concept of scholarship and entertainment!" Advay promised the Trio with a genuine and sincere tone as he dramatically held out his hand towards the illusions. Lyle squared up, which put a disheartened look into Advay's eyes, Ember soon followed his lead, which made Advay stunned, the decided duo looked Artus' way as he hesitated but he had soon moved himself into a combat stance and made the others proud. Advay sighed through his deep disappointment for the Aluin Trio.
Advay turned his back, having Ember think she could rush him down, he turned around with one eye looking at her and brought her to her knees. Shocking the others but they dashed in afterwards but woke up on the staircase of their apartment. Feeling all kinds of weird.
The Blue-stocking blade swiftly regained her footing. "You would have taken that deal if the price wasn't to betray Josue, huh?" Ember asked Artus as they got off the ground. The Sangfroid paragon then picked himself off the ground. "The deal sounded great at first, of course, he'd have taken it, I would have too if he had proven— that we could trust him before the proposal." He replied as he stood beside his brother, Artus. The Sanguine marksman was the last to make it back to his feet. "We need to go tell Aleph and the others about this!" Said Artus while he tried to get over agreeing with Lyle in his head and being surprised about the Sangfroid paragon's thoughts moments ago.
Ember was completely caught off guard that Artus was the first to recommend reporting it, even though, at the same time, it made sense for her. The Sanguine marksman left to retrieve his communicator in his room. "Rainbow danger quandary, now!" Artus yelled out after calling Aleph on his communication device, "Copy, meet us at GHQ." Artus heard back from his silver-haired superior.
The Trio found their way down to the general headquarters where it was being held, the very same place they had to find to apply for their spot. The beauty didn't fade, they all thought. They were ordered and had authorization to link up with everyone on the top floor. The building was tall, the tallest in the city, it was Josue's second favorite building and at the top was where he did all of his strategizing, speech preparation and personal meetings with his inner circle. As the protectors and special law enforcement division of the city of Generil, they were the first present then Aleph decided to teleport after his smoking session. By the time everyone arrived, almost all twelve members were present, one was missing but he was given a different task.
Two century old mentees of the scholar instantaneously traveled through their powers atop the tallest official government building in the trio of Josue's megalopolises. As she held her fur bucket hat and her camera with the other hand as she had approached her instructor. "What'cha doin' up here, sir?" Mara Gulliver boo asked the elder who had retained his youth as he sat above the very same general headquarter's rooftop's edge and observed the city as the streets of Generil was astir.
The conquering hero of immensity approached his mentor alongside his fellow pupil. "He invited us here to help him stop that villain, just say leap, sir, and don't worry— 'cause I'll go and swing that long-haired, dementia ridden clown by those locks." Jabez Gilda replied before finishing with a wrathful tone instead before clashing his fists together.
The photographer of true intent shook her head before face-palming. "They're not villains, Bez, I've checked their hearts and they're on the path that we took. Everyone of them comes from a different past, some of them shady and despicable, still they share heroic ideals that gave Master Advay interest." Mara Gulliver Boo argued with her fellow pupil. Jabez looked at her with a chuckle and rested a hand on his hip. "We were chosen by Master Advay based on more than our hearts. You're a lady that thinks of herself as No-nonsense that has way too much fun being seen as a seductive witch." Jabez argued back before giving a chuckle. Mara Gulliver-boo gave a shocked gasp. The two began bickering like children, annoying and upsetting Advay. Jabez called Mara an old maid while Mara called Jabez a himbo as the bickering got louder by the moment.
The lemon chiffon scholar closed his hand. "Shut up, you're not acting like you're centuries old. I invited you, two of my most loyal students, to say my goodbyes with a beautiful view. Nothing special about doing it over telepathy." Advay left the other two speechless, "Remember to keep that temper in check Jabez. You guys have made me so proud with what you've achieved in your heroic careers, you can now go back to saving the day, this is where I'll be deciding my fate." He finished with the grimmest tone they've heard from him. Jabez hugged Advay with all of his might while Mara Gulliver boo joined in to make it a group hug.
"Alright sir, whatever you're planning I know it's going to be something spectacular and worthy of it being told for deca-millennium." Said Jabez after the hug and before he entered his portal, "Just remember to at least hear him out, like you've taught us, only villains react before understanding." Mara Gulliver Boo reminded him before she waved him off and entered a portal. Advay waved his two apprentices away then got back to his thoughts regarding gathering the monarch of the megalopolises attention.
The silver sparkler specialist paced back and forth with his arms neatly behind his back. "Artus had convened each of us here, so I'll leave it up to him to inform you about the Rainbow danger quandary that he called." Said Aleph as he sat down and waited like the rest. Artus' eyes fully broadened as he looked left and right then stared into Aleph's eyes. Artus wasn't prepared, he considered himself sociable but the moment made him realize that he was not a public speaking sort. The Sanguine marksman's brother noticed that he looked extremely nervous.
Alyi's perky bladesmith crossed her arms as she rolled her eyes. "Get on with it, quit staring with the same look that I was told I put on LyLy!" Said Livia Burr as she sat in her chair. Generil's blue-stocking blade softly growled. "I'm about to drop kick you over that balcony." Ember shouted after she had looked over with cruelty in her eye towards Livia. Alyi's perky bladesmith shrugged. "I'm just saying..." Livia replied as she faded out of sight and got quiet. The Sanguine marksman heard his sister's violent tone before shouting to avoid an incident. "I'm Artus... Which all of you already kinda knew, and... This is... About, of course, a certain unfamiliar really... Person villain..." Everyone heard Artus babbling over his words. They all felt a hint of second hand awkwardness because of his lack of his stuttering as he sweated a few pounds off himself, except Ember and Lyle but the Sangfroid Paragon was fed up sitting back watching his anxious brother struggle and got the picture though he couldn't understand it.
The Sangfroid paragon removed his helmet and stood up on his feet. "The RQD threat is a mysterious magician that can seemingly warp reality to his whims. He's threatened to take over the city and we, three, have reason to believe him." Lyle informed his superior and the other cities' squads as he understood each of the unmasked members' reactions, "He's demonstrated just tricks so far but we don't have any evidence to believe that he's not more capable. We request at the very least, that you make yourselves prepared for a confrontation soon." Said Lyle assertively, taking a similar tone to their Mentor Dain when he practiced briefing with his class. Aleph stared at him, pondering his warning, not disregarding any of it.
The monarch of the megalopolis trio commented as he joined the gathering. "He's right. There's something vital that I want to reveal to all of you that I feel like I should have told you all earlier by calling my own R.D.Q meeting." Said Josue as he, Fitz and Nathaniel Detayvern entered the meeting room with Alyssa and Conyrol following alongside.
"He could be a continental catastrophe, he's the man that allowed me to be capable of everything I can do now. He's a scholarly hero who lived for centuries, beyond millennia to study and perfect— The embodiment of entertainment and scholarship's essence." Josue revealed as he heard a few low gasps from his team, "We're on his terms though, we have to wait through an excruciating unknown set amount of time before the chief of police contacts us." Josue continued before walking toward the door that led to the floor's balcony.
Aleph rushed over to him before he could leave, "A man visited the city a while ago, he had an understanding of Kiya-eal, we fought but I won, there was a woman as well, the others say they fought her, she had it too I suspect which means they both were beau idéal manipulators. Not to be messed with so--" Aleph asked after he placed the pieces together, "An army? No, I've read up on him, I looked up to this man before I was even inept and blundering. If Ambroise's notes on him are any bit of true, he'll come alone then we exploit his fervor for excitement then I can come in for the final blow." Josue replied after he interrupted him. Aleph nodded signaling he understood and had no further questions, then went back to preparing himself.
Almost everyone's stares turned towards Lyle's direction as they heard a chief's voice on his communicator. "We have an 18-05 down at Gaston road!" Chief Aaida shouted with an urgent tone.
Aleph, Fitz, Alyssa and Conyrol as well as Josue and Nathaniel all teleported to that location, leaving the Gen-Oath members in the building, Artus and Ember stood staring at Lyle. "Same power, different methods, stop staring at me." Lyle responds as he tries to feel indifferent.
The six authoritative figures behind the cities popped onto the scene. Josue, Fitz, Conyrol, Alyssa and Aleph turned and remained invisible, hiding their entertainment zeal signatures as they popped through the perimeter searching for clues on where he's gone next, leaving Nathaniel time to grab Aada's attention, he greeted her keeping his composure during an uncertain state of affairs that as the megalopolises public face, he's been given the opportunity to practice.
"What's the situation?" Nathaniel asked successfully surprising Aada. Generil's chief slightly grinned as if some weight was lifted. "Kidnapping case, there's a witness down at the station but I called Lyle here specifically, he enjoys solving the homicide cases and he's our most effective in the department." Aaida answered the face of the cities before looking up and freaking out by what she saw. Nathaniel looked towards what she was pointing at and he was left astounded. "Heeck, if I survived this, I'm taking you out on a date!" He shouted before failing to have the ability to instantaneously move into the castle and instead decided to use his secondary plan, soaring into the sky where the castle was moving as if it was unaffected by gravity.
Josue stopped as a vision of the bygone heroic figure's smile popped in his thoughts. "I'm going to save you the investigative trouble, I was never hiding away, you just weren't good enough to find me. Look above you, guy." Josue heard in his head from Advay's voice. He looked up and saw a gigantic building flying in the sky, floating by, he immediately took a step back and froze.
Nathaniel still found himself shocked regarding the strange and uncanny castle. "There's an entire surreal castle floating in the sky right now but I have an inkling of whose it is, so grab the squads and give him a decent distraction!" Nathaniel commanded Aleph and the others telepathically as he made his way to find their adoptive father, "Understood and we're at the ready!" Aleph replied with a resolute tone before he teleported back to GHQ with the others.
When he found him, Josue was sitting on the ground, on a sidewalk, sitting on his butt, sitting up with his knees bent. Holding on to each of the Gen-preservers, four members from the various three cities teleported with their seniors with Aleph having teleported alone but they came in three lines. Upon entry, the heroic scholar of Enteletelch was waiting for them with a blinding smile and his hands behind his back. Some of the others really didn't expect for him to look human or be so young looking as resembling a man in his mid-twenties.
The silver-haired martial arts instructor put on his helmet before he squared up. "You guys remember the plan?" Aleph asked, everyone including his fellow preservers nodded as they readied themselves for a bloody battle. Fitz found himself shocked by the strange paintings on the walls as he had a revelation. The scholar turned his gaze towards the megalopolises' attentive reconnoiter. "Yep. These paintings on the wall? They're indeed your citizens, fight for them." Advay assured Fitz, trying to inflame his assailant, "A few of you hopefully are talented enough to have grasped my capabilities by now. Shameful of your guide if you haven't at this point." He finished with a smug smirk.
Alyssa broke the moment of everyone staring at Advay, as she made the first move, blasting ice that Lyle and Ember dodged but so did Advay as easily which forced them, he leaps soaring higher and higher, shocking her with his basic speed. She blasted left, right, middle, in the direction he landed but he dodged right, left then pushed her away with a single punch to her gut. Lyle and Ember went in as a duo, so close, everyone else couldn't jump in properly, they started off trying to fight him with their hands but dipped out of the way every shot they took, every jab, hook and cross until he decided to teleport behind Artus, he was struggling the worse. Artus reacted with his peak human reflexes and turned around firing off dual wield automatic firearms that he had used to spray through Advay, seemingly killing him as he fell to the ground lifelessly then it faded out of sight.
"DUCK!" Bliant and Blair heard in their heads listening to their silent superior's voice as he leapt in while throwing two of his fingers downwards causing Advay to burst into blue flames. Everyone paused thinking it was the real Advay instead of an illusion, it was the real Advay, his body burned on the ground before he got back up slowly, burnt and crispy. Seyort's inescapable ideal trapped forced him inside of a closed boundary with a dropkick before Advay wiped away the flames off of his shoulder. Fitz attempted to feed the flames while he was trapped until he leapt back feeling frightened by what he saw next. "ALL of my burning Kiya-eal were extinguished and without even touching himself" Fitz said telepathically to everyone except Advay.
The scholar enjoyed the face he saw behind the megalopolis's reconnoiter's jackal helmet. "Man, this is the most fun I've had in a millennia!" Advay declared as he chuckled and looked as if he was genuinely enjoying himself. Codagan was confused by his superior's obvious fear. "You're alright, over there?" Seyort's inescapable ideal checked in on Fitz prior to as well as checking on everyone else who surrounded Advay.
"I've got all the time in the world." The two heard Advay after eavesdropping on the team telepathically, "Eleven versus one sounds more than fair to me, as a sweetener, the four of you hold back each of your powers, I'll hold back mine. Hopefully you all got training in hand to hand but feel comfortable using any weapons too." Advay proposed as he hopped around on his toes. The silver-haired commander contemplated the proposal. "We— accept!" Aleph shouted as he looked back at the team and gave them all a confident nod.
Codagan looked at him crazily and kept hoping he couldn't escape his boundary, Artus was thinking that even if he did there was no way he could get past the top three best hand to hand combatants: Lyle Aluin, Conyrol and Kacey Sarpong.
Advay touched Codagan's boundary, recognizing his power and where it was rooted from but none of it was relevant to him, he gave the air and uppercut up to his five-foot-eight size which opened a portal that led elsewhere. Advay cleared his throat before putting on his usual smirk. "Hang on, the challenge doesn't start until I have entered your layer again." Advay declares with Alyssa's voice before walking through the thin portal. A few of the Gen-Oath were surprised or confused.
The "He's got mastery so well that he has Layeral travel?!" Alyssa exclaimed out loud, the preservers knew what she meant but the Oath were all lost. Lyle didn't care one bit. The team of the eleven stayed in their comfortable stances with anticipation, most kept their head and eyes moving as he could come from anywhere.
"Yeah, but I can only travel through one sheet, miss." Alyssa heard from behind her, she performed for a spinning backfist but Advay dipped back then went in and flipped her from his hip. She recovered briskly then attempted a leg sweep he hopped over.
Everyone found their way to join in and tried to attack him all at once but the castle lobby was wide, it was huge, it was decorative, it was excellent for a man taking on a team of eleven unique members. Advay kept his distance from overwhelming numbers once he got the chance.
Ember came flying in with a sword thrust from the air, he spinned away out of the Blade's edge and kept retreating from the group. An arrow flew in and missed the grandmaster by a hair. Lyle forced his way in and with him he tossed a few jabs, crosses and hooks his way Advay had no choice but to acknowledge his brilliant form and precision, Bliant at one point came in close with a german suplex in mind but Advay's astonishing strength left him nonplussed as the two were stuck for a moment's time. He was shot by an arrow in his lower spine. Alyssa attempted another leg sweep, Advay noticed it was like she practiced that a million times to perfect it.
Only a few kept close to Advay, Aleph and Livia's teamed up, the two were experts in two different disciplines, the formidable assailant noticed Livia used some similar boxing combinations as the one that he's most interested in employed earlier, still able to dodge each punch to perfection before she grabbed out a sword as swift as she did which caught him by surprise. He disarmed her, threw away her blade and kicked her down for the count.
Advay noticed Aleph was a creative taekwondo fighter but he was too predictable for him to land any attacks on him, sidekicks, roundhouses and back kicks were all effortlessly blocked. The heroic Scholar hurried away from those two. Arrows came flying his way even more as he made space. Anastasius tried to manipulate Advay and calm him but Advay manipulated Anastasius' equilibrium causing him to fall on his butt.
Blair ran to regroup with his younger brother Bliant, Seyort's audacious star gave a certain nod to his elder brother who was against the idea they both spoke about, at first thought, but realized what was at stake for all that he knew and swiftly accepted. Blair grabbed Bliant's shoulder, Bliant pressed his two fingers on his temple then a beam of light appeared for Blair to step into, Bliant took Seyort's circumspect moon as close to Advay as he could without him noticing while he was distracted with their teammates.
Conyrol jumped in and that he did with his ferocious kick-boxing mix ups, he flipped Advay clean off his feet with a judo technique, then mounted him and began pummeling Advay forcing him to guard his face. The Megapolosis's wildcard charged his qi. "Think you can bully us?!" Conyrol asked in a frustrated tone as he continued to swing, "The three cities are not for you to toy with!" He finished with an infuriated tone while he threw lefts and rights. Suddenly, Conyrol jumped off of him and when he let down his guard, he saw Blair with his crossbow aimed toward his face. Advay rolled out of the way, like he knew about it, this left Blair dispirited when he missed, somehow more dispirited than before but he still kept himself elusive.
Advay stayed on his toes and kept himsel agile and defensive until he separated his easier adversaries from the more masterful ones in this bunch, he targeted Blair first, he masterfully continued to flee from his terrifying grasp, as he kept his distance, he would attempt to get a shot in.
Advay grabbed a spear while fleeing from Blair's teammates giving chase, then aimed and stuck it through Blair's thigh, slowing him down, getting his head slammed into the ground before sending him flying out of the castle, doors whooshing open. The castle's too high for anyone to survive.
"Blair!!!!!" Bliant howled with a horrifically grim voice before his fire kicked in, Bliant dashed toward Advay with a furious fire lit and revenge fueling it, ultimately getting snuffed out. He and his mace were sent with his brother.
Kiyo's stood where he was feeling the crushing despair that is growing ever more and with it, so does his proficiency with manipulating Advay's sense of gravity, pulling him down to one knee and preventing him from moving, keeping the adroit villain grounded while the others made their way to him.
Advay with a simple glance toward Alyi's own gravity, he manages to disrupt Kiyo's sense of balance completely, throwing him off alongside his manipulation while he stumbled with a spinning head. Advay held back the others that continued rushing him for the moment, instead his priorities were on removing Kiyo. Making use of his telekinesis, he tosses Kiyo out of the castle, and down to the ground below.
Aleph breaks free of his adversary's telekinetic grasp, when really Advay let go himself, then builds energy for his astonishing sparkling fireworks, far quicker than Advay had ever seen, until it grew to a confounding size.
He has an answer for it, he wraps it around a forcefield that keeps it contained until Aleph explodes it inside. Advay holds Aleph's arms down at his hips, keeping him from being able to use his powers any further before he uses a technique that puts the sparkling silver general to sleep before he sends him flying out like Blair, Bliant and Kiyo. He forced Codagan to attack Artus, violently swinging his fists at him, Artus was forced to block but the attacks came relentlessly like he felt no stamina. While Advay was busy puppeting around Codagan, Ember flew in from the top like earlier before but this time succeeded with her mission, the best she could manage, she removed one of his arms. She attempted numerous more thrusts and slashes his way to no avail. He used his psychokinesis to push her from him then used his telekinesis to call back his arm.
The Sanguine marksman tried his secret card but couldn't perform it. "There's no way one of his special powers is mummy." Artus responded with everyone else watching the scholar reattach his arm and stretching it. He pulled Ember back to him, he backhanded her hard enough that she was chucked away into a wall.
Fitz took to the offensive once more facing him but before he could petrify the scholar, Advay refused his attempt then stole his idea, petrifying the flaming jackal masked reconnoiter. Afterwards, he threw his thumb towards the castle's doors, as they flew open, the petrified jackal flew away and was kicked out.
Advay caught Codagan's ricocheted Khopesh with one hand, "This is new, you made your wall softer, so it could bounce off?" Said the scholar as he checked out the sword itself, "Everybody shows promise, some more than others, let me show you Something?" Advay finished. He used his Psychokinesis to pull Codagan towards him and push the others away, allowing him time to shrink the inescapable khopesh prodigy and bounce him through the air with his telekinesis like a yo-yo before he flung him out of the castle.
Ember came back slashing and swinging her sword, showing him her deadly skills, giving up isn't an option on her mind, Advay still able to dodge each slash, thrust and swing until he's impaled by another's sharp edge through his chest and is taken aback by this. The Blue-stocking blade decapitates him while Livia slices his legs clean off thigh then shin, Ember following it up with removing his arms. In their exhaustion and weariness, they allowed their training to take them over. Artus stood near Codagan, who both looked at each other. One confused about how to feel and the other feeling like he could've done more for everyone.
"It's been so long since I've known the feeling of decapitation, ladies. Congrats on getting this far." Everyone heard from Advay's removed head, Ember did notice there were zero blood spills, neither time they removed one of his apendages from him.
Advay warped to the top of the balcony, he teleported Lyle, Artus, Conyrol behind a barrier of his own that had kept them separated from Anastasius Eslevelni, Ember Aluin and Livia burr. Alyssa and Conyrol tried to create a breach in Advay's Kiya-eal as they tried to pull it apart but even together, the two masters couldn't make a dent or even leave it fractured. Artus cheered Ember on vocally while Lyle sat quietly observing, keeping in mind that they're putting their hope into the monarch of the megapolosises, using his best efforts to keep himself composed.
The scholar teleported the prince of feelin's shotgun into his own hands. "I think I'll hold onto this stick for a while. Only your blades will matter." Advay shouted before Anastasius's awe. The prince of feelin' tightened his grip on his sword. "That just does not make any sense!" Anastasius mumbled when he realized that it wasn't actually a wild trick.
"We have three swordsmen in my castle, the last man that managed to get a genuine victory over me was the greatest to walk the earth with the embodiment of entertainment and scholarship's essence in his spirit and a cutlass in his petite hand." Advay told everyone, including those trapped behind the force field, "I never got my rematch with him, and I don't think that I ever will, so if I beat any of you then I'll take it as proving my talent to him. You guys just need to get one slice, one small cut and I'll leave. We need stakes or this won't be amusing for any of us." Advay challenged the three: Generil's Blue-stocking Blade, Seyort's Prince of feeling and Alyi's perky bladesmith that came as a shock to sword-wielding trio. All of them prepped their swords against his own, as they entered comfortable stances whilst glaring the ancient hero down. He jumped off the top floor above after throwing away the shotgun.
Livia stared into Lyle's gray eyes which gave her all of the resolve that she needed to believe that she could win. Ember summoned a Katana, The Prince of Ajitapman recently requested a scimitar as his main weapon and Livia Burr used a Spatha style sword, the three circled Advay Rishi as he remained vigilant, focused on the two most adept swordsmen. Anastasius initiated the duel as he swung his scimitar first, Advay parried every single slash yet the Prince of feeling continued to be on the offensive while backing the powerful Klese native & forcing him on the defensive.
As Advay blocked and weaved his swings and slashes in a flashy manner, he placed Anastasius on the novice level in regard to his swordsmanship, "Ah yes, if only you knew how to use that effectively. You should feel let down by your mother, she was not a good sword fighter." Said Advay while he set Anastasius up for defeat and disarmed him, he delivered a 540 kick to the side of his cranium.
Livia and Ember witnessed Advay twirl his finger downwards before hoards of insects seemingly crawled out of thin air and ate Anastasius like he was being decomposed on a supernatural level. The boys and Alyssa kept wondering what they were reacting to, though.
Alyi's perky bladesmith and Generil's blue-stocking blade reinforced their sword stances before charging Advay headlong. The scholar of Enteletelch nodded. "I'm with no special advantages. C'mon, you guys only need one clean hit like any duel." Advay reminded the childhood foes as they slashed and thrusted with surprisingly well sync up, Ember positioned herself behind Advay while Livia decided to stay in his face with the aggro on her. Advay effortlessly blocked and parried anything that they'd tried against him. As Ember turned her eyes over towards her brother Artus, she felt as though he could read her mind, knowing exactly what she wanted to try, something he's already mastered and gave her a thumbs up.
As Livia struck overhead, Ember tried to slip her frustrating teammate, her own blade but as the handle touched Livia's palm, it vanished, Livia was hoping she knew what she was doing, Artus and Lyle used to practice the same plan but she didn't and got Livia struck in her gut. Advay performed a spin to the opposite side and cut Livia in half. Livia saw Ember's face and was shocked by it. The four spectators was frozen in disbelief.
Advay grabbed both halves of her and healed them, reconnected her back together before she blacked out allowing her to faint in one piece. The spectators and Ember remained baffled and perplexed, Advay rubbed the back of his head, felt his dark hair and was sweating. Nobody said anything for a few moments. He then used his mind control to force Ember and Livia to leave the castle with a single word, Ember tried with all of her might to resist his persuasion but it was happening regardless of what she wanted. Advay lets down the translucent green wall separating Advay and the rest of the team. Alyssa, Conyrol, Artus and Lyle streaked across the castle lobby, knowing they still have zero chance and the former two knowing that he's holding back but they all feel duty bound to still oppose him, their only real goal still persists.
Advay backflipped over the first three with acrobatic flair and struck Artus with a back kick, which knocked the window out of him, and finished the Sanguine sharpshooter off with an expertly formed cheat 900 side kick, he used his telekinesis to send him flying out of the castle. Lyle remembered what Josue told everyone to remain as calm as he could manage without his siblings.
The Megalopolis trio's relic acquirer held a scowl on her face as she stood back on her feet. "Tell us what your next challenge is going to be already, if this is just a game to you, one of us is bound to win." Alyssa shouted with clenched fists. Advay saw her smug grin and enjoyed it. The Megapolis trio's wildcard held his rib as he chuckled. "Make it a fair challenge like a peanut butter cracker sandwich making? Please?" Conyrol added as he flared up the aura of his innate essence as he took a moment to heal his wounds.
The scholar shook his head with heavy disapproval and his expression displayed it. "The swordsman failed to land one clean hit on me. They had absolutely atrocious form in comparison with their potential, especially that Anastasius fellow. They're all fairly young though." Advay replied, "Your performances earlier gave me the impression that you three, the finalists, might just be the most agile overall. Get creative, find your wit, do anything you want but don't let ME land a clean hit on you, if you do, you're eliminated, however if you can last an hour without me hitting you once then I'll just leave." Advay finished as he had his hands rest behind him.
Advay approached the last three, in a calm manner, Advay acknowledged their professionalism, how each one remained on their toes. He remembered back when he was young, how if the situation was reversed how he'd be terrified. Nathaniel is comforting his adoptive father while Josue is confronting himself.
The megapolis trio's debonair inched closer towards his adoptive father. "It's time for you to say something now, you've been sitting here quietly, while the others are still getting embarrassed by the guy the legend, just say what's on your mind to me." Nathaniel demands as he gently tapped the monarch's shoulder. Josue realized that he sat in thought nearing seven minutes before Nathaniel succeeded in grabbing his attention out of it. "I was thinking of what I could say to him, how I could convince him to leave but Europe sits on his old world, Generil, Alyi, Seyort was built over his ancient home. There's nothing I could say to him that can change his mind. He's not going to be reasoned with or see me as a heroic figure akin to him. Not that I mind. He's saved the entire planet who knows how many times? And the way I gained power?" Suddenly an idea struck the audacious monarch of his city trio. A slight smile appeared on the adoptive son's face. "You're making that idea face that saved us before, Josue, you brought back my confidence. What's the plan?" Said Nathaniel with a genuine tone. Josue shared his idea with him telepathically.
The monarch of the famous megapolis trio. "It's very risky, it could upset him but if it does, you work for him. He's a hero regardless of what he does to me over this, have everyone else join him too. This could be the last you'll see of me." Josue informed his adoptive son with a downcast tone, with slight relief in it, realizing Advay'll more than likely spare everyone else. Nathaniel fixed his gaze toward Josue when he stopped talking, leaving simply silence, before Josue teleported away to retrieve an item. Nathaniel removed his feelings about the situation, like Josue taught him, to carry out his duties logically and teleported himself into the castle where the others should be located yet came to the aid of his exhausted adoptive brother, Conyrol present weaving and dodging the hands of the man that threatened their megalopolis trio. The Sangfroid Paragon and the Preserver's Dark Orchid, Alyssa, were removed from the castle after failing.
Conyrol sprung away, out of close quarters with Advay as they were locked in, to retreat back to Nathaniel's hip. "You did awesome, man." Nathaniel told the preserver's wildcard as he stopped him from dropping to the floor. Conyrol smiled as wide as he could despite the injuries. "Show him what the heir of the three cities is made of, 'cause bro, I think— that I'm about done?!" Conyrol replied the most uncertain Nathaniel heard him before realizing that he collapsed. He took a moment and warped The Preserver's martial wildcard onto a nearby rooftop where he'd rest in peace. After Conyrol was gone, Nathaniel fixed his glare toward Advay with his fists raised easing into a forward leaning stance, Advay replied to his challenge without a word replacing those with a grin as Nathaniel hated seeing his lemon chiffon eyes radiate. Advay rolled under Nathaniel's cross then delivered and struck him with an upward elbow to his abdomen that knocked him down to the floor. He took it but it knocked the wind out of him.
The hero from the bygone society's body was engulfed in violent lemon chiffon flames before he realized that he had to give respect to his assailant for the violence regarding in his own showcase of their studies. "I'm trying to face your papa, laddie." Advay laughed as he held a cocky attitude as he began to feel Josue's avoidance of his challenge was tiresome. The modern day monarch arrived instantaneously into the invader's castle with his hands behind his back. "You should know better than to underestimate others, it's an easy way for somebody to meet their end the following moment." Josue replied as Nathaniel was picking himself up. Ice began to be conjured with one of its thick spikes soaring behind the bygone advocate for heroism before it abruptly stopped nearing reaching him by 10 inches as he wore a smug mien. Nathaniel was dumbfounded with shock and awe. "Well, what should we do now?" The megalopolis's public representative asked with a solemn tone and demeanor.
The modern sovereign turned towards the megalopolis's debonair with his hand on his heart. "Go gather and regroup with the others. Make sure they get checked out at the headquarter's private hospital and have Floquet treat their wounds with his genius. He has his plans for me, I'll give him my time now, no more. Keep the others away from us, tell them that I command them to stand down." Josue ordered Nathaniel, "Yes, sir, on it." His adoptive son replied with their salute. Advay glanced away momentarily. "A genius regarding the entertainment concept's essence, that kid is mediocre, which is impressive these days, I'm beginning to grow curious of the others?" The father and son heard from their assailant as he butted into their conversation. Josue refused to remove his eyes from the bygone paragon. "And son?" Josue blurted out before his son dipped, "Oui?" Nathaniel answered, "Je suis fier de toi." Josue reveals leaving Nathaniel confused before he carries out his commands and exits to the rest of the protectors. Nathaniel kept thinking about those words.
Advay flared up the lemon chiffon essence bestowed to him before combining an uncertain fraction that traveled leisurely into his right hand "Finally, the conqueror himself. These apprentices and soldiers of yours were fun." Said Advay as he rested his hands behind his back and held his right wrist, "I'm interested in seeing how well you've studied the ancient world. Summarize everything that you've got from the journals you stole and gained power." Advay finished as he fixed his gaze upon Josue.
The monarch stood with a slight grin. "Your people were the hardest to kill among any thing that's ever walked this planet. Your amazing discipline and control over the concept of entertainment's essence gifted to humanity allowed everyone to control the elements, your desires, your needs, yourselves, others, animals and the earth. Age and many of the worries of modern day life mattered far less if at all. Your people and your kingdom were essentially immortal only able to die if the individual allowed it but that leads to the only thing you couldn't control. The end, Death and life. You were never able to raise the dead or bring someone back to life. The leader that you had hated the "magical" creatures that walked cheek by jowl with your people. Peacefulness was the most celebrated regardless." Josue recapped with respect in his tone. Advay's protruding lemon chiffon eyes widened before interrupting. "Then he gathered ten Kiya-eal Grandmasters that could freely traverse the numerous realms in order to send every fantastical creature away. It's practically impossible to traverse realities, even with a masterful understanding of the entertainment embodiment's essence, most other methods, these scholars weren't to be disrespected. Combined with the emperor's discipline with his growing authority over it too, they broke what separated us from everything else. Your quest is pointless. The damage is done and it can't be repaired. The gods won't step in and interfere." Advay finished while igniting his hand with lemon chiffon flames.
Josue held an angrily disgusted face on him as a thinning glow wrapped around him. "There has to be a way to fix things, innocents were brutally murdered before I stepped in, even with me guarding my city, I couldn't defend everyone. I couldn't be everywhere back then either. The unstable rifts are getting worse, the creatures are coming in even worse. I hired a small force with impeccable mastery, we won but it was no fix. I adopted altruistic heirs, we won, it was no fix. I recently made a new unit for each city for the citizens' safety, they're helping but the rifts are getting more unstable and unpredictable. What more can I do, sir?" Josue responded with sorrow in his tone.
The prankster with an idealistic heart glared downwards at his pupil's adoptive son. "There isn't much that can be done, the damage has been done, I searched for nearly ten millenia for a fix before I realized all that we can do now is avenge it and banish the perpetrator to the domain of the sadistic creation of the prime mover of the realms' son. He's still out there hiding, afraid of death and my vow." Advay replied with a grim tone. The Monarch of the megalopolis trio couldn't bring himself to look towards the bygone. "It seems like you've got a goal that'll take everything you've can muster, what's your purpose with me when there's a grander fish to catch than myself?" Josue replied then asked. The bygone paragon of heroism had an expression of amusement. "Isn't it fairly obvious, right?" Advay replied with a weary tone. Josue immediately started looking at Ambroise's sword and began thinking about how right he was when his family came into his thoughts. Josue's face presented his uncertainty. Advay began to feel fascinated by what he saw. "No wavy and undefined form of his essence around you, the kid isn't buckling under my essence projection? That's a basic understanding." The bygone hero thought to himself before the essence encasing his lost pupil's adoptive son bursted further.
Josue reached into his long coat's inner pocket as Advay realized that the emperor of the megalopolis trio had reached the progression that he had hoped for Ambroise by the time he returned. Advay heard the monstrous growling of a swarm of spirits in the form of gnome skeletons with razor sharp claws. He had bursted his Lemon chiffon, he had blown them away like they were a pile of leaves. Advay unleashed a plague into the castle's air as he covered his mouth and nose with his right hand. Josue began coughing up blood but Advay realized the emperor wasn't alarmed. The megalopolis trio sovereignty held his composure before he showed Advay a grin that took the bygone hero a shock before he stood up straight. Josue blasted bolts of lightning from his eyes, the hero of a bygone era effortlessly dodged until he was hugged by an orc-ish creature after weaving the final bolt. The Emperor of Europe's megalopolis trio amplified the orc-ish monster with his own lemon chiffon essence giving it the strength of a thousand men. Advay applauded the emperor as he shared his own smile. Josue transferred and shaped his lemon chiffon into a cylinder in his hands as his eyes shined. Advay telekinetically broke the humongous orc-ish creature's grip as Josue saw how effortlessly he succeeded, Josue was left awestruck and slightly anxious, the scholar then delivered a roundhouse to the orcish creature's chin that sent it soaring away into a mysterious appearing lemon chiffon portal. Advay soon realized that the monarch refused to change his plan and continued on, he decided to pull a book into his hand from his castle's library as he waited on him to finish his attack.
The monarch fell to his knees. "Ambroise— died long before I came into the picture, before his son was born and there were no traces to the cause of his death until-- see for yourself then decide if you'll trust me or not, I guess." Josue responded after his moment of thought. Josue held out the Ambroise's authoritative blade that took the disguise of a cane which belonged to Ambroise, Advay was initially hesitant to find out the truth but the promise Josue made that it's the closest they'll find made him feel like he had no choice. "That's-- impossible!" Advay loudly shouted at the top of his lungs, with a mixture of anger and shock.
"He listened to you, he wrote down his journey for your library of apprentices, only halfway though. I found his personal journal." Josue added as he pulled out his diary from his longcoat's hidden pocket. He handed it over, Advay skimmed over some of it to make sure it was legit.
"Every one of my apprentices tell me that I need to let Ambroise go, I need to move on and dedicate training to others to honor him. I don't get mad or frustrated with them, they understand Kiya-eal, heroism and altruism but they don't understand the impact on a Klesian." Advay replied with a mournful tone. Josue stayed silent with his head down, attempting to understand.
"This brings us to our last reason for meeting when I arrived and heard about things here. Are you and your apprentices worthy enough to wield freedom and authority?" Advay then asked with a piercing tone and a serious-minded face. Josue accepted his fate, he needed a moment to get over the fear.
