The birth of a daughter from the Mooncrest family, the descendant family of the bestowed successor for generations, brought great joy not only to their city but all over the whole kingdom of Sequaria.
Duke of the Lunaphelia house, Waldemar, has rejoiced the magical event of his daughter. He and the Duchess were more than just happy while watching the beautiful cosmic-iris eyes of the little one. It was the first, for every one hundred years, that a woman shall be born from the lineage of the noble house of the Moon. It only means one thing, and that the little girl wrapped around the beautiful woman in her simplest nightgown, is the bestowed successor of the moon.
The child that the goddess Lunaphelia granted to the whole continent of Alegra.
After being called for some errands and arrangements, Waldemar left with his men following behind him. The rest of the security left is for his wife and the whole Dukedom to protect. But, nobody would be careless enough to attempt crawling in for not one citizen in their kingdom could withstand a single man from the Mooncrest family.
Out of nowhere, the little boy in his soft pajamas and big round blue eyes came sneaking inside the room of the Duchess. He was trying to play hide and go seek with his mother after forgetting that he was supposed to be seeing his new baby sister.
The platinum blonde hair toddler just had enough hiding because his mommy was too preoccupied to acknowledge his silly games and gave up. He's now climbing the tall bed, his servants following behind and helping him before settling right next to the baby where her mommy was focusing more. He was confused at first, but choose to copy whatever his mommy was doing.
Now, he's observing his little sister without a sound, too.
As stubborn slowly wiggled in his patience, he got competitive.
"There must be something wrong, mother. Her eyes won't open." The eldest son of the Duke, Winfried Mooncrest had been watching the baby for a time now.
His mother giggled softly, pleased by how attentive her son was to their little bundle of joy. "Patience, Freddie, she will be awake soon. Right now, she's probably tired from crying. You were like that when you were a baby, too."
"Oh, right, babies cry all the time." The clueless child cheeped without speculating that it had been hours since the baby was awake. "What have you name her, mother?"
"She is Wisteria," Elvira muttered as she admire her beautiful daughter with tears demanding to show. "Oh, look at how adorable she is."
"I wanna carry her." Freddie pouted, his eyes are now rounded with sparkling jewels. The mother, Elvira, could only heave a deep breath before agreeing.
"Come here," she let Freddie sit beside her and let him feel the gentle body of his baby sister, "There she is. You're now a big brother, Winfried, don't ever forget to protect your baby sister from now on. Alright, big baby brother?"
Still mesmerized by how tiny and beautiful his sister was, little Freddie only nodded with his teary eyes and beaming lips. Elvira was stunned and was about to coo him yet he averted his gaze from the baby and looked back at her with now determined eyes, "Mommy! I will protect her forever. She's too cute to cry! I don't want anybody hurting her!"
Overjoyed by how his son reacted, Elvira hugged him gently and carefully help him move Wisteria back to her arms as the other wrapped around his son's shoulder. "Mommy is happy now for you have been behaving and loving with your sister, you're so brave too, son."
Winfried charmingly smiled, "The fruit didn't fall far from the tree."
"Indeed," Elvira giggled and kissed Freddie on his chubby cheeks and the baby boy can't help but feel ticklish.
"I came back as soon as I can, where is she now?" Then suddenly, the head of the house shows up with a hurried expression, anticipating to hold his newborn daughter again. "I've already cleaned up myself, honest, I'm spotless and sterilized."
'Sterilize?' Freddie thought, silently. 'Wasn't it supposed to be... disinfect?'
"Oh hey, there, big boy." The strong and cold as ice, Waldemar, showed the warmest smile for his son. "You met Wisteria already?"
He began removing his accessories and loosening his shoes before settling with them on the bed. Groaning as if he carried ten tons of gold, the duke placed his son on his lap. Winfried chuckled at his father's goofiness.
"Isn't she lovely," Waldemar muttered as he caress Wisteria's thin hair.
All of them are overwhelmed by the birth of the young lady. Servants were buzzing and had been trying to get a small peek of the baby's toes but failed. Only the people who assisted the Emitters when Duchess Elvira was giving birth, and the Mooncrest family, had only seen her face. Baby Wisteria was still a living mystery.
"I heard, the young lady was glowing! Her skin was whiter than the field of snow." One of the maids started whispering in front of the master's bedroom where the duke family was together.
"Her hair was the one that's white!"
"It's silver! The same color as the Duke's!"
Few gathered more, "They say this was the first daughter from the Mooncrest family after a hundred years! I don't care what she looks like, she's already glorious just by her being a lady."
"I agree with you!" Said by another maid, "What do you think her name will be?"
"It will begin with a 'W' just like the young master and his grace's name."
Out of the growing commotions of the maids, comes the head of the servant Ms. Minchien. Her infamous knitted brows and protruding lips remained as it is, with her piercing eyes behind her tiny eyeglasses shooting daggers.
(눈‸눈)
"Ehem,"
By a simple cough, a fake one, all the bird-like maids froze on their spots and slowly turned their heads by their shoulders in sync, praying not to see whatever they want to see.
"Thirteen maids in front of the Master's bedroom! What on Alegna dictionary have you not read when I mentioned; keeping their privacy was your top priority?! Disperse before I could think of severe punishments!" All of them jumped out of fright and run for their lives, respectfully, and began doing the chores they are supposed to do.
The old lady just heaved a deep breath, shaking her head a little out of her displeasure. She regained her posture when she faced the door of her masters and wore her monochromatic expression. She knocked thrice before opening the 10-inch double-oak door, with the households' insignia carved in it.
When she entered, she saw the happiest scenery of the family with their newborn child. Ms. Minchien had been admiring the love of the duke and duchess for the young master, and even their greatness of holding the dukedom from chaotic situations.
Now that they are blessed with a lady and a bestowed successor, she praises the higher beings for this glory.
"Your grace, several gifts from the Imperial family have arrived after receiving the news of the young lady." She bowed, not making any eye contact. "Letters from the capital and several noble families were stashing your office after the declaration of the new member of the house Lunaphelia."
The Duke said his praise. His mind was filled with acknowledging the existence of his daughter, not minding the overwhelming love from the house Lunaphelia and outside the city. It is indeed a celebration for Wisteria.
"She looks exactly just like you," Waldemar smiled, adoring his wife and daughter. "Now my kingdom is complete, a queen and a princess."
Elvira chuckled lightly. "Who would've thought that the child I was carrying was the next bestowed successor. I just want her to be kept safe in my arms."
"And my arms, too!" Winfried raised his hands while his eyes remained glued on his sister.
That held Waldemar's heart, amused by how his son had shown great passion for his baby sister. "My arms are bigger, she could fit better."
The joke got inside of Winfried's head and started looking at his scrawny little hands and pouted. His eyes met his father's and Waldemar playfully gave him a questioning look.
"T-Then when my arms are the biggest! That right! If my arms are the biggest, I will be the one protecting her." Winfried proudly grins and got even more confident with his mother's cheer. "Hear that father?"
"Is that a challenge?" Duke Waldemar played back.
"Yes! You wait when I get bigger, papa, baby Yerrie will only come to me."
"He needs his father more,"
Elvira could only laugh at how eager his husband and son compete on who will Wisteria be loving more. Oh, she had enough by how cunning Waldemar has been turning into whenever he's speaking with Freddie.
Behind the loving scenario of the family, was the confused and agitated mind of Luna on her baby form. She was struggling to understand if she was indeed Luna or Wisteria.
Despite her award-winning Oscar skills of acting, the act of sleeping like an actual baby, there isn't anything she could think of besides the fact that she died and turned into a baby.
Wasn't this supposed to be a paradise for her, after her gruesome life as Luna? She just had to be the main character of her story, huh. She remembers how she wants to relate her life with the main character and so she most likely made the book of Wisteria's life miserable before becoming a sorceress and fulfilling her wishes, just like hers but with less magic.
The baby form was cute enough to hide some suspicious reactions and movements. Phew~ it was probably a good thing that she was a baby.
"I'll leave you here, rest, I'm going to take over everything and let Mrs. Minchien plan the grand party for Wisteria," Duke kissed Elvira's forehead and snatched his now grumpy son.
"I wanna sleep with mommy and Yerrie, Father!" He struggled on his father's shoulder.
"We're gonna leave them alone, time's up."
"Nooo!!"

"Careful," Alvira's last words before the Duke and her son disappear.
Now it's just her and Yerrie. She watched her daughter, appreciating how healthy and beautiful she is. Everyone's thinking about her being the bestowed successor, the first daughter after generations in the Mooncrest family, and the child of the Duke.
She became so special over those things, but inside Elvira's mind, she was only thinking about her steady breathing under the comfort of her presence. Her daughter loves her warmth, that's why it only wants to be beside her.
"What a mommy's girl," she graciously whispered, and kissed her dainty forehead.
Meanwhile, inside that baby's mind were the panicking ideas forming inside her head.
'Oh my gosh! I am Wisteria! It's me! She is me— no!' the same as her brother, the face she's mentally wearing was the same as she rumbles.
ヽ('Д´)ノ
There's no question how they are indeed biologically related.
'It's impossible! I'm Luna, Luna Cromwel! How is this possible? If I am indeed Wisteria, was I reborn? Reborn as in, reincarnated as Wisteria? Then why do I have memories of my past life?'
She was a mess, confused about what to worry about first. It was hard enough that she can't move her tongue the way she wants to, her eyes were hard to open, and even her saliva... yup, her saliva that can't be controlled, now she drools involuntarily.
Only her mother's hug comforted her.
She felt her father and older brother just a few moments ago, she was delighted that no words could describe it. As if it was real.
'But, it is real! I'm a baby now, who could understand life already. A twenty-eight-year-old woman trap inside a day-old baby.'
Was this a dream? Because of it is— she doesn't wanna wake up.
In the end, Luna chose to relax and seek inner peace by sleeping. Hoping that by the time her brain functions again, she would get an answer. Because this, this is just ridiculous.
Days went on and she was being fed by body or bottle, being changed diapers, has no control of her body, and can't even form a single word! She already questions a lot!
The only thing that clarified her millions of questions, was that she is in fact, a baby.
'I am a baby of the main character, my main character. I'm Wisteria.'
