After the grand party and arrangements, the Dukedom got even busier because of the people that almost want to praise Wisteria like a living deity.
Countless of the house's knights are stopping a mass parade outside the residence of their family. In just a few days, Wisteria was known around the whole kingdom. As the Duke's daughter and the bestowed successor. People would leave gifts, letters, and many more efforts to show the young lady ostentatious attention.
Inside the residence, the Lunaphelia families have been helping to assist the head family to assure that everything was under control.
Among the female servants that prioritize the order of the house in every meticulous way that concerns the duchess and the accommodations, is the head Mrs. Minchien that kept her stern supervision. Although the idea to dote the young lady was still tempting.
Mr. Belvedere, the butler of the whole estate that held everything that concerns the dukedom affairs, was taking everything more seriously than ever, running errands and ordering materials needed. The celebration didn't only end in one night, they kept it going for weeks, almost the whole kingdom celebrated Wisteria's blessed day.
Mr. Belvedere and Ms. Minchien are always on watch whenever the Duchess stroll in the magical garden to give the young lady a natural way of empowering her Anima.
In their realm, Alegna was the only Continent and it is divided into four kingdoms. The fire, water, air, and land. The leading kingdom was Sequaria, known generally as the kingdom of the North where Wisteria was born. The most prosperous and civilized nation.
Water dominated the whole world with this single nation. According to the knowledge of the people, equalized information for all kingdoms, that sixty percent of the world was filled with nothing but the water that put their nation advantageous.
The people of Sequaria developed their skills and strategies, focusing more on progressing than brute and strength and innovating multiple solutions for the growing complications by each generation.
Alas, the one that created first of everything was Sequaria. Agriculture... Education... Justice System... Army... Currency and Economy... Transportation and also the Magical Arts, History, Creations, and many more. They are the role models of the other kingdoms using their ability to be perceived.
Phyros, the kingdom of the south where the tropical cities stood. The nation of fire is where the veterans of strength reside and are led by a dictatorship. The sole kingdom that balances affluence and troops. Although, they lacked civility and unity because of the prideful leaders under the sovereign.
Aethereas, where elevation and transportation were first discovered. They have the landmarks of floating cities and tamed beasts that could fly midair. People of the East kingdom are the kindest civilians, who are more religious that is why temples are also honored in every city. They have focused more on literature and cultures that the three kingdoms have mostly forgotten.
Terraji, a kingdom filled with innovation. Their country possessed lands with the most developed soil for farming, mining, and building yet they have lacked the sense of responsibility and most likely focused on creating. Despite the deficiencies, the Terraji kingdom is as robust as the south and receptive as the east. And by the help of the North's intelligence, the kingdom of Terraji had benefited from its treasures and a dominating kingdom when it comes to exporting their products.
The system those four kingdoms had made was mended by years of wars and failures. Several unreasonable and honorable deaths through nations. The Phyros have strength, the Sequaria have the mentality, the Aethereas have humanity, and Terraji has natural resources. It took them millennials to realize that their best qualities could balance the whole Alegna Nation.
'Basically, the smart ones controlled the whole chess pieces.' Wisteria inwardly thought, watching the white butterflies around the garden as her mother carries her.
She's been trying to remember whatever the things she's been writing before getting reborn as the main character of her book. So far, she can now recall the diplomatic condition of the world she's living in. Other than that, she could also remember what is the meaning of being a Mooncrest.
The family Mooncrest is the surname of the ancient family that was blessed by the deity Lunaphelia. She gifted them a benediction for a child of each hundred years that could bear the power of the moon. Through generations, the family Mooncrest expands and had several relatives that were ought to have distant kindreds and still could beget the possible child the deity Lunaphelia blessed.
By their family's influence of being the ones that have a connection with one of the great deities Alegna honors, the former head of the house declared a family seal of never leaving the side of the family and continuing to live inside the house Lunaphelia territory.
It was not a problem at all, thus, the whole members of the previous family did not hesitate to accept this ancestry order.
Mooncrest was an epitome of wealth and influence for years, having their dukedom with their own blood-related families as a part of their grand dukedom, and that is by bearings. Among the whole continent, they are the only ones who have decided this arrangement for generations.
And yes, the Mooncrest family of the house Lunaphelia is the biggest residence among the whole kingdom. They also have strong relationships with the imperial family and the union leaders of every sector of the kingdom.
Mooncrest is indeed one of the highest class of people.
And among the tremendous people of Mooncrest, is the head family led by the father of Wisteria, Duke Waldemar Mooncrest.
'Oh my gosh! My papa! I am Wisteria! Wisteria is me... It is me, I may have my past life's memories but I am still Wisteria. His daughter!' the baby laughed, inside her head, and it was an unusual laugh but when her mother heard it, it was a delicate baby cackle that left Elvira smiling.
"Oh, look at you, loving the butterflies already."
The baby mentally scoffed with pride, 'Misinterpret my cuteness, mother, for all you want. I am the daughter of the richest family— besides the royal family, of the whole kingdom. Ha! It sounds very powerful if you think of it.'
That prideful smile was itching to show, if only she wasn't a paralyzed, tiny human.
Now, she tried to think about the head family of Mooncrest.
Waldemar Mooncrest, the father, is associated with the three pillars of the kingdom; royal guards, legion officers, and military soldiers. He is their general. The man behind the victories of the kingdom's battles and people's peaceful civilization.
The head of this family will not only hold his Dukedom but also those three pillars, that is why the duchess must also require the same brilliance.
The mother, Elvira Mooncrest, came from Helleda the city of Nymph. It was a place dominated by women who studies sorts of arts and cultures. Famously known for their beauty and brains. The Helleda women are known for their; traditional clothes of white chiton dresses and gaudy accessories of golds, their unmeasurable connection with the spirits of water, and the discipline from provocation and desires that were thought meticulously.
Wisteria's mother was a gifted lady that people esteemed. She was more known as one of the ladies of Helleda than of her origin, and by that, nobody can dare disrespect the duchess.
Lastly, her older brother, the young Winfried Evander Mooncrest. He was a boy that exactly resembles his father, yet a little self-reserved. He doesn't like the idea of taking for granted his influence but rather wants to earn his glory. According to the book, Winfried grew up as the next head of their family, and he was truly fitted in his role.
His love for Wisteria will never be matched by any. A respectable and competitive man.
The siblings have the same traits of serving the people and striving for the betterment of their nation.
At least, that's how the author remembered everything. She knows her character more than anybody else and that's all she could recall.
But... despite everything she remembered, Wisteria felt as if she's missing something and she can't remember what it was.
"Duchess Elvira!" The young auburn girl exclaimed in her watery eyes and at last, she had the chance to meet her mentor.
"Portia," Elvira acknowledged and Portia stopped right in front of her, bowing before the lady of the house.
"I-I heard— no, the whole capital heard about the news of the young lady! Congratulations! I'm so happy is that her? She's adorable!" The worry lines on the young girl's face vanished as she slowly watch the confused eyes of the baby. "Hi, baby! Your so small and squishy, so fair and glowing! She looks just like you, teacher! Except for the hair, she has the Duke's hair color. I wonder if she will have the same beautiful blue eyes just like yours."
The author in that adorable form was mentally demanding her memories about this ponytail lady because she can't seem to recognize her.
'How I wished I could have episodes of memories whenever I see this character's faces. How many have I made anyway? Was this young girl useful or not? She looks decent.' she thought.
"I apologize, your grace, it seems like my leash was too weak to hold the horse."
"Hey!"
A boy on his timid posture and leisure stride approached the duchess and the girl, this made Wisteria even more problematic.
'Now who's this one? I'm having problems here. Why do these characters pop out like mushrooms? It's annoying.' If she could only pout, Wisteria's lips must've reached the floor.
"Klaus, enough with the banters today and just share positive acknowledgment for my daughter." Elvira sighed, completely preparing herself with these two's company.
"You hear that, lazybones? Positive zone. No room for party-pooper." Portia started.
"Of course, I'm not deaf, unlike somebody." Klaus continued and the duchess scowled, making them silenced. "As you said... positive acknowledgment,"
"Isn't she beautiful?" The auburn head complimented, now trying, and asked for permission to touch the hands of the baby.
Klaus, the snarky little boy that always wears a proud smirk, softly smiled. "Hmmm... She is. Way beautiful than you are and she's not even a year old."
"I just lacked a day or two baths! Stop talking like you were any better."
"Disgusting, I take baths every day."
"Positive," Elvira reminded but Wisteria's sudden laugh of enjoyment as she watches them annoy each other made the three amused.
Portia's eyes formed like hearts and Klaus' expression looks as if cupid struck an arrow in his heart. They both love the sound of happiness in Wisteria's smile.
"See, positive." Portia boasted.
"Look at that, she knows when to laugh when there's a clown." Klaus, started this time.
That ruined Portia's mood. "You—"
"Okay, that's it, who wants to tell me a story about their adventure in the capital, instead?" The duchess intervene, and she had long accepted how impossible it was to stop the two from getting in each other's throats.
"Me!" They answered in unison while trying to push their sides as an act of minor displeasure for answering together.
Wisteria listened innocently with her mother, amazed by how Portia beautifully described the place with Klaus' honest review. She almost forgot that it was her own words that describe the capital they were talking about.
The baby's tiny fingers were wrapped around each forefinger of the two kids as they tell more of their adventure.
For some reason, Wisteria found out that the two kids were abandoned babies around the forgotten village outside the territory of the four kingdoms. Her memories are now fluctuating without alarming her.
Confused, she tried to hear more about them because of the memories telling about discrimination towards them. The memories come around whenever she hears something about the character. But, discrimination?
'What on Alegna is this?!' she exclaimed, now more eager to learn about the two kids.
Elvira took them in as her disciples. The two are staying in the residence of the Mooncrest family and were also then trained under the family's knights, the White Rose. When Elvira was in labor, she let the two children stay in the capital with a few of their servants to experience the festival in the city.
The reason why they just met Wisteria even after being the direct disciples of her mother.
The two young children are probably years older than her. Nine years to be exact, and Wisteria felt different energy coming from them. It was faint and distinctive from the other people she had met for these past few days.
Yet, it's still there. That vast energy that she can't seem to understand. It was flowing all over their body.
'This two, are strong.'
"What's her name again, your grace?"
Elvira looked at her daughter after Portia's question, "Wisteria."
"Wisteria? Wait, have I heard it somewhere before?" Klaus thought.
"It's the tree of immortality." The auburn head answered.
Elvira nodded, "Yes, I named her after the tree of immortality. I want my only daughter to live her life as long as she wishes because I am here beside her. Watching her grow up, her childhood and adulthood will be witnessed by her mother."
The boy observes the way his teacher's eyes illuminates as she stares softly at the young lady. "Only daughter..."
Auburn-head got alarmed. "Why, teacher? Are you not going to have a child again?"
The duchess's heart wasn't showing any remorse nor regret, it wasn't even because of the rush she's feeling whenever she's around her daughter.
It was an acceptance a mother is only capable of, "Wisteria is the blessed successor and by giving birth of her in this world, comes with great sacrifices as well."
"What do you mean, teacher?"
Klaus remained quiet, understanding what his teacher was talking about.
"In that room, when I was delivering my child. The moment I heard her cry, there was this powerful force, trying to pull me out of my body and draining my strength. It felt like a strong manifestation of Wisteria's power that was released when she came out."
"How strong was it?" Klaus asked.
There was a long pause as Elvira remained her eyes focused on the long lashes of her baby.
"Strong enough to kill me," she mumbled under her breath and Portia immediately held the duchess' hand that's securing Wisteria. "Indeed, it was enough to kill us all who are present in that room. It was a moment where I felt cold as if it was the time for me to go, leaving my family, and baby here... I was scared."
"Aren't the Emitters that went in the manor were elites? The duke wouldn't allow a lesser ranked specialist to look after you, your grace, and you are—"
"An elite Emitter as well." Elvira finished.
"But she's still able to cause that disruption." The boy eyed the baby as well, filled with curiosity and a little, fear.
There's the possibility that they wouldn't have been talking with their mentor if it didn't stop. Oh. Wait—
"Teacher, how did the baby stop the manifestation?" Klaus asked.
Elvira chuckled, "She stopped crying."
