Now its time to try out magic
I face towards mother's body, and bring my hand up in front of me "Earth Magic: Ground assimilation" My deep voice rings through the tunnel and even shakes the wall slightly as the ground under mother turns to mud and her body sinks through then it returns to normal. I wanted to at least bury her otherwise more humans might target her body.
I turn around and start walking in the same direction these guys came from, while walking I activate the skill greater sense and now I'm a fucking bat, with every step the minor sound I make echoes throughout the entire labyrinth and I can pretty much map out the entire area just by walking. It's honestly not that big, the range, but it's big enough to see things I wouldn't be able to see with my eyes, so pretty good.
The area itself is very maze-like, scratch that it is a maze, with hundreds of twists and turns that would confuse most, but not me because my skill is fucking awesome.
I turn the corner and stand in front of a large circular area with crude straw houses, seems like a goblin village to me, because I can even see a few sitting around a campfire in the middle of the camp. I take a step and the sound echos again and I can count only 7 in total here, so it shouldn't be too hard to kill them.
Should I just charge?
...
...
...
Yeah let's do it, I get down with my hands on the ground and my legs stretched out ready to rush forward at a moment's notice. "Charge," I say and my horns glow red and I can feel a huge amount of strength in my legs, then I push off, and with superspeed, I run forward and barrel through the houses and the campfire, running over 4 of them, the other 3 were woken up by my intrusion and see what's going on as slide on the ground to stop moving.
Their green goblin blood drips down from my face and horns as I stare at the other 3 who grab their crude weapons and are looking at me with fear present in their expressions. Despite that run at me while yelling.
"Aura of fear" I say and a black wave shoots out of my body and washes over them, they completely stop moving and foam at the mouth while their eyes roll back into their heads and they die instantly.
HOLY SHIT, That skill is insane, it just killed them so quickly. I thought it would just make them more scared of me and paralyze them or something, but nope, just death. I wonder if it's because they were already scared or because I was just so much stronger than them, either way, this skill gets an 8/10. Anyway, this area is pretty cool and big, it even has lights and a nice airflow and only one entrance, so this will be my new home for now.
"Earth Magic: Flat plain" The area that held the structures just completely flattens giving me full access to the area unbothered by those ugly houses. "Earth Magic: Raise collum" A the ground rumbles a bit, and 6 different pillars rise from the ground and circle the center "Earth Magic: Create Alter" A small dirt alter with 6, 4-inch steps on all sides leading up to a flatbed rises up in the middle making this area look like a temple.
Why a temple? Because I can, literally just because I can. Besides, imagine going into a dungeon and then seeing a badass alter with a terrifying monster just resting atop the bed glaring at you with murderous intent, you would run for the hills, you would get the fuck out of there as fast as you could, and not look back. A type of intimidation tactic that I can use to ward off unwanted guests. Smart right.
Hold up, can I turn them to stone?
"Earth Magic: Stoneification" the dirt hardens and its color turns a pure clean grey color, not bad, but doesn't look intimidating enough "Earth Magic: Stone Crack Minor" the stone starts rumbling and chips of the surface fall of making it look a lot more of and rustic, but at the same time ancient, like some super old monster was resting in this area for thousands of years.
Now I need to create a storage area because I can't always store stuff in my soul scape. "Earth Magic: Secret Cracked Stone hole" The ground below the south side of the alter facing opposite of the entrance hollows out and forms into steps leading down below the alter. I walk down and come to a sizable area that's about 17 meters in diameter. "Earth Magic: Cracked Stone Divider" I create 4 sections separated by 4 dividers for armor, vials and potions, fabrics and technology, and then gems and magic stuff.
I Unload all my stuff into their sections and step back to observe my work, it's not much of a collection but it's a good start. Satisfied I walk out and close up the stone passageway with a stone plate that makes it look like the ground was never messed with.
