Weiwei's face, which was getting more and more annoyed, looked even more adorable in Xiuwen's eyes. That man continued to smile widely as he embraced Weiwei's waist, moreover that girl then also hugged his neck.
Weiwei noticed that Xiuwen kept staring at her and it made her uncomfortable.
"Are you fascinated by me?" Xiuwen asked. The question seemed to make Weiwei consious to get charmed by that man.
"What are you doing? Let me go now!" she snapped. Xiuwen just smiled in response. Weiwei grabbed the dagger tucked into her waist and drew it at that man's neck.
"Let go of me now or I will kill you!"
"If you hurt me, you're bound to fall."
"No, I will definitely be fine with the knowledge I have. Put me down now!"
Xiuwen finally relented and floated down. They are now in a forest. Big trees and various wild plants shade the place. The afternoon sun was not enough to illuminate in that forest so the atmosphere became a bit dark and cold.
Weiwei was on alert and pointed the sword at the man in front of her.
"Let's just settle things here."
"Why do you want to attack me so much?"
"Because I don't like you!"
"Be careful, deep hatred might make you fall in love with me."
"Do not talk too much!" Weiwei snapped as she then launched an attack. The thin but sharp sword in her hand aimed straight at Xiuwen's solar plexus. The girl's body even floated slightly. With a swift movement, she attack Xiuwen.
Weiwei's attack failed to hit that man. This annoyed her, she continued to attack with all the moves she had learned so far.
"Wait!" Xiuwen exclaimed as he grabbed Weiwei's wrist that was carrying the sword.
"Didn't you hear something?"
"Don't try to distract me!" Weiwei said as she pulled back her hand and attacked Xiuwen again.
"Listen carefully!" exclaimed Xiuwen who once again grabbed the girl's wrist. This time it was tighter because Weiwei couldn't break free.
"Let go of me or I'll cut off your hand!" Weiwei snapped then. However, then she froze when she heard the voice Xiuwen was referring to.
It was a woman's voice asking for help. From the sound they could be heard, that woman was crying while ask for help. It seemed that she was in real danger and really needed help.
"How?" Xiuwen asked.
"Shall we help her or leave it?"
Weiwei growled in annoyance. Her sharp eyes stared at Xiuwen.
"I should have known you must have planned this."
Xiuwen shook his head with a grin.
"You, you were the one who asked to come down here. Still saying I planned it."
"True, but surely you can take me somewhere else, why did you have to come here?"
Xiuwen just shook his head as he took a deep breath. Meanwhile, the voice of that woman asking for help was getting louder and louder.

"Hey you guys, quickly let her go!" Weiwei snapped as she drew her sword. The people in front of her immediately turned around. They laughed mockingly while staring condescendingly.
"There's another beautiful girl, that's okay, we can enjoy two girls at once," said one of the bald-headed ones, continued by laughter from his friends. Weiwei growled angrily, without wasting any time she immediately attacked the people.
Weiwei slashed the sword quickly. The people looked overwhelmed. Their martial arts skills weren't as great as Weiwei's, but of course they didn't want to admit defeat, especially to a girl.
The white powder sprinkled by one of the criminals almost hit Weiwei. The girl suddenly recoiled, covering her mouth and nose with her hands. But it seems it was too late. Weiwei's eyes started to darken. The people in front of her laughed at Weiwei's staggering steps. The girl who was about to be helped just looked worriedly at Weiwei.
Weiwei fell to her knees with the sword supporting the body. She could hear the laughter of the bad guys, but her body seemed to have lost the strength to resist.
"It's our lucky day. We even got two beautiful girls," said one of the bad guys with a laugh and stepped towards Weiwei. The others laughed too. The villain's hand reached out to reach Weiwei. However, Xiuwen appeared and grabbed Weiwei's waist and brought the girl flying backwards quickly.
"Let go of me. Otherwise, I will definitely kill you!" Weiwei snapped. Her eyes can't see so her unable to see Xiuwen.
"Don't worry, it's me," Xiuwen whispered in that girl's ear.
"I don't need your help!" Weiwei said. Actually she was relieved that Xiuwen had come to help, but her ego was too high to admit that. Moreover, earlier she stubbornly went to help without heeding Xiuwen's words. She was so sure, with her self-defense ability, she could defeat the criminals.
The criminals certainly did not stay silent. They had planned to have some fun and now it was all interrupted. They immediately attacked Xiuwen. When the sword slashed, Xiuwen immediately dodged. He also quickly parried the sword with the fan in hand. Until the time, he counterattacked and managed to bring down the opponents one by one. All of that was done while still embracing Weiwei's waist.
The bad guys were overwhelmed and one of them again took out the white powder that was used on Weiwei earlier. However, Xiuwen quickly dodged. The grim-looking criminals began to fear.
"Just watch out, Dark Shadow will definitely repay you!" snarled one of the dreadlocked criminals. He then rushed after his friends who immediately fled.
"They're gone," said Xiuwen. Weiwei just nodded then everything got darker for her.

The sound of the crackling of fire sounded clearer to Weiwei's ears. She then slowly opened her eyes and found herself in a cave. That cave was not too wide. The flame flickered not far from where she was now.
Weiwei was about to get up, but then a girl rushed over. Weiwei remembered that the girl was the girl she was trying to save from the criminals.
"Yo-u? Where is this? Are you all right?" Weiwei asked while looking at the girl with two braids.
"We're fine. It's a good thing your boyfriend is so great and saved us both," that girl replied, nodding and smiling sweetly.
"He's not my boyfriend."
That girl nodded again and held out her hand.
"My name is Axiang."
Weiwei immediately shook the girl's hand back.
"I'm Weiwei. Wen Weiwei."
"You two seem to have become friends," said Xiuwen who was standing at the door of the cave. He had some fruit in his hand.
"Sorry, I can only find this," he said as he held out the fruit. Axiang immediately got to his feet and rushed to accept.
"It's okay, tomorrow we'll be right back in town and I'll come with you guys."
