"I waited for you outside your room for hours, where were you all this time?" Juho asked her coming awfully close to her.
"I... I was with Taehee." she said stammering under his piercing gaze.
"So, you spent the night with him?" he asked with a stern face.
Kamou wasn't dumb, she knew what his words were implying. He was doubting her, questioning her, she looked at him with a blank face.
"Were you in his room the whole night?" He asked again.
She nodded her head, trying to get a hold on herself. She opened her mouth to give an explanation but was cut off by Juho.
"I see you still love him." he said giving a small smirk, slightly shaking his head.
'How does he know? I never mentioned Taehee name.' Kamou was shocked at his words, her face went pale. She never told him that she loved Taehee.
"I saw his picture in your photo album. I have known this for a long time. I know it wasn't my place to look into your personal stuff so I didn't say a word."
Kamou stood there listening, trying to hold her tears.
"You said you didn't love him anymore and I trusted you. I never confessed my feelings but I made sure you knew; you knew because of my actions. The way I treat you, the way I am with you." Juho said with tears forming in his eyes.
"And I was crazy enough to think that you would start loving me one day. You were just being nice to me and I thought you started developing feelings for me. You promised you will hear me out when you come back. Why did you promise me something you couldn't do?" Juho looked at her with anger.
"Tell me Kamou. Answer me. Why did you break your promise?"
"Juho please I can explain."
"Is there anything left to explain? I saw you come out of his room with my own eyes."
"It's not like you think Juho. Listen to me." Kamou's hand reached out to hold his. Seeing her action, Juho jerked back, not letting her touch. Kamou looked at his face, shocked, his actions were hurting her.
"If you loved him so much, why didn't you let me know? Why did you give me hopes that we could be together, when you had someone else in your heart? I came here to surprise you, but guess I am the one who got to see something unexpected." he looked down trying hard to hide his tears.
"Juho."
"Stop it!" he raised his voice a bit.
"You have done enough. I would let you guys be, I won't come in between the two of you."
"But be sure, I won't ever forgive you for breaking the promise. I don't want to see this face of yours. Don't you ever talk to me Kamou. I have never been this broken in my life. You knew everything and yet you never considered me or my feelings. I hate you Kamou." Juho turned to leave.
Juho started walking fast towards the elevator. Kamou stood there for some time, his words 'I hate you' kept on repeating in her brain. Realizing he was leaving and this might be her last chance to talk to him, she ran behind him.
Kamou was late as Juho was already going down in the elevator. She rushed to the fire exit and started running down the stairs. Tears flowed down her eyes as she ran to stop him. She reached the hotel reception, looked around to find Juho going towards the exit. She ran towards him, but he already got into the car and left.
Kamou ran a little after the car, not able to catch up to him she gave up. Her body dropped to the ground, crying her heart out. She sat there crying for some while after which she got up and weakly walked to her room.
Juho saw her chasing him out of the hotel, his anger didn't allow him to stop. No matter how bad he wanted to stop, he couldn't, she wasn't his anymore. He did what he could to make sure his best friend and love lived peacefully.
The tears he had been trying to hold, came down flooding from his eyes. Little sobs escaped his lips, as he cried in the back seat. The only woman he ever loved was indeed in love with someone else. His love turned out to be unrequited.
Juho directly went to the airport. He wanted to go back to Seoul as soon as possible. London had nothing more to offer him. The only reason he was here, well he made sure that reason no longer had anything to do with him.
"Good bye Kamou. I guess this was it for us. I will try to forget you, if I ever could." He said with tears in his eyes.
