The woman stood at the front of the church like a sentry. She bowed lowly to welcome the noble family. She escorted the family into the main hall of the cathedral. The inside was even more grand. It was had tall pillar that rose up to the ceiling showing off the magistracy of the Cathedral. Light poured through the stained glass bathing the interior. The entire building was illuminated with a multitude of color that painted every corner of the building.
The whole seen was breathtaking. The woman guild the four to the back of the of the church where there was a large shire to the goddess. In front of the shrine, there was an elderly man who knelled in prayer.
The nun spoke, "Father, the Richt family is here for the awakening."
The man got up and turned to face the family. "Ahh yes. I was doing my morning prayer." The man was dressed in rough clothes. He looked kind of a monk. His body was very thin and lanky like his body was just bones. Asher was afraid that if he knocked into him his thin body would break. His sunken eyes looked at the two boys in front of him. "Now which one is doing the awakening?"
The nun spoke before anyone could reply. "Did you forget? They are twins. Both are here for the awakening." The nun spoke like she annoyed with the monk. She rubbed the bridge of her hooked nose as she had come to expect this from the man.
The monks cheeks became rosy from embarrassment at the fact he forgot this obvious fact. "Ahhh yes yes yes yes. I see. My apologies for my forgetfulness." He stepped aside and waved his hand ushering the children deeper into the Cathedral. "Come on then, Children. Follow me." Asher and Jude were lead into a small side room by the monk. His parents watched as the two were taken into the other room. He continued to fiddle with his hands like he was wired or nervous.
The walked through several hallways and up so stairs to a higher floor of the church. Despite his thin and delicate appearance, the monk moved rather fast through the church. Asher and Jude had to jog just to keep up with his walking speed. The monk moved through the hallways quickly yet he barely made a sound. If Asher was not looking directly at the man, he would have thought that he and Jude were alone.
The room was covered in a layer of dust to the point that the moment the door was opened a cloud of dust made Jules and Asher start to cough. The monk began to move quickly back and forth looking through the giant book selves and mess stacks of scroll. When he found what he was looking for, he picked up an old box and blow off the dust off the top causing another coughing fit from Asher and Jules.
"Here we are." With that he tucked the box under his arm and walked out into the hallway. He set off the hallway. Both Jude and Asher moaned as they ran after him. They followed the monk until he abruptly stopped in front of another room and entered.
"What...the hell?" Jude whined as he panted out of breath. "There is no way he.... is human."
"Bullshit." Asher wanted to cry. "He looks like he went for a casual stroll." He huffed exhausted how can a man move like that. He then spotted a fading light around the man's ankles. This man was using magic of some kind to increase his speed. Un-fucking-believable. Did he forget that neither of us have magic.
The monk turned to them. "Come on." He ushered them into a small sitting room with a door that led into the back. He nodded at Asher. "Wait here." He turned to Jude before continuing. "Please follow me." He lead Jules into the back of the room and closed the door.
Asher was left in the room. He sat quietly in the empty room. He looked at his system while he waited for his turn for the awakening.

After his studying session, his master of basic magic increased from 72.7% to 93.2%. He focused on the words in his memory letting the magic form in his hand and dissipate over and over. There were two ways to increase his mastery. The first was increase his understanding. The second was practice. Basic magic relied on mana in the atmosphere which was different from elemental magics.
He continued this for about thirty minutes the percentage increasing slowly like a computer. When the percent reached 100%, a bell was heard in his head signalling that his work was complete.

Asher was smiling at his luck. This effect would be useful in the future. His concentration was broken by Jude and the monk walking back into the room.
"How did it go?" Asher looked Jude who did not have any particular expression. "What did you get?"
"I am an omnimage obviously." Asher got excited at this knowledge. It was now his turn for the awakening.
He jumped up and followed the monk into the room. The room was empty except for a podium that was set up into the center of the room. On the ground were several rings that were etched in to the marble floor showing a magic circle. "Step up to the podium, boy. We don't have all day." The monk said from the corner of the room just outside the circle.
When Asher's foot steps over the outer ring, an energy rushed through him. It was unlike any sensation he was familiar with. His cells were humming and vibrating sending a tingling sensation through his body. The closer to the center of the circle Asher got, the stronger the effect became.
On the podium, there was a glass cylinder that was larger than the one Ms. Cratz showed them and a crystal ball. He looked over the items till the monk spoke, "Hold each of the end of the Mana wands in each hand. Then picture energy passing through it from one hand to the other." He followed instructions. As he pictured, the energy passing through the wand. It began to glow and fade like it was flashing

Screen after screen began to appear in front of Asher. As the energy began to build in his body at first it felt like he was just becoming hot but now it feel like he was being boil from the inside out. His breath came in shallow wisps and a burning sensation formed over his heart. It feel like the heat was burning lines through his body like it was his very blood that was on fire. He try to push through the pain but it was getting to much. The heat began to build like it was about to explode outward. Final a message appeared in front of him.
[Congratulations! You have establish your Magic Circuits]
As he saw this message, the heat began to subside. He felt the energy flowing through his body but it did not burn like before. The wand that was gripped tightly in his hand was not flashing anymore. Instead it showed a steady flow of vibrant colors. The monk looked at the wand with wide eyes. "Grade S. You have really strong magic circuits." He looked at the monk before looking back at his screen.

[This is the base of magic. These circuits are magical vessels that store and carry mana through out the body. The higher the quality the more mana that can be stored. The higher the level the more effective the mana usage is.]
This was it the source of mana and magic. He finally had it. Not only that, it had a high quality which means even as a ten-year-old he could store enormous amount of mana. Quality of most things was determined on a scale of G to SSS. Of course having a high quality circuit was impressive. The quality of a circuit could always be improve. So it just meant at most he had an early head start to every one else. Not to mention it need to be trained as well as refined. But the important thing was his element which was the next test.
Noble pride themselves on being omni-mages and being able to use many type of magics. This was for two reasons. The first was that the number of element referred to how useful you were. If you didn't have the water element in a forest fire than what good were you. The second was fusion magics. When you mix the energies of to like magic it would create a stronger spell. For example, mixing a tornado spell with a fireball spell to create a power fire tornado or using water to make lightning more powerful.
Asher head swam with ideas he could try when he got his elements. He placed his hand on the crystal ball. and closed his eyes excited for what awaited him. He did not see the look of surprise on the monk's face at the result. He rubbed his eyes to make sure he was seeing this correctly. He could not believe this was possible. When Asher opened his eyes, the lights in the crystal ball already died down. "Did it not work?"
"No it did work." The monk replied in a serious tone.
"Well what is my result? I'm an omni-mage right but what are my elements. Lightning, Water, Fire. Ohh Holy magic." Asher began listing different magics he wanted to try. Asher stopped when the monk did not reply. "Come on what is it?" Asher was clearly growing impatient.
The monk hesitated before replying. "You are a... Hexa-mage."
