Chapter 7 - Chapter 6

Meanwhile, Andre, was heading back to Bloodcrest castle before dawn and sighs to himself at the very thought of Victoria? Was he beginning to be intrigued and interested in a half-breed girl like her? Never in his life has he ever encountered such an interesting and smart girl in his entire life.

As he walked through the stone walls of the hallway with its red and black banners with its silver soldiers shining through the candles glowing from the ceiling. He watched as the light of day began shining through the large mahogany windows looking magnificent as they are, but once he got to his room, he opened the door and entered. Andre off his dark black cape and laid himself on his king-size bed with a white mattress with its red blanket and he suddenly questions himself,

"What's wrong with me? Why am I feeling like this? Did I…I haven't got a clue here hmm…" as he thought for a moment as he covers his eyes from dawn, the day has started within its beautiful layers of the colours peach of pink, with a hint of golden rays mixed with yellow and white clouds.

At the outskirts of Cornelia, Victoria woke up in a small room that her grandfather gave her the night before. Therefore, she got out of her bed and stood up touching the cold wooden floor. However, she scanned her surroundings until her golden eyes spotted new clothes on top of a black trunk. There was a white blouse along with black leather pants and some combat boots, but to her surprise, she was thinking about Andre again. Then she shook the thought of it because he was just a handsome red-haired vampire. Once she got dressed, she headed downstairs where her grandfather was sitting in his chair watching the fire crackling the woodturning into ashes. Suddenly he looked up and smiled saying,

"Ah, I was wondering when you'll wake up it's already, taking a glance from the grandfather clock and back at her, "7:30" he added.

"What are we going to do today?" Victoria asked confused.

Instead of answering, her grandfather walked out the door leaving Victoria on the stairs and then, she yelled while following him outside. "Grandfather wait for me!"

However, Jasper just kept walking down the hill chuckling at his granddaughter's reaction from him leaving her behind until a group of soldiers came from around his cabin from all directions, the Cornelian soldiers. As they keep surrounding him, within Victoria's point of view she hid behind in one of the bushes. She was frightened for her grandfather's life and hers, 'Oh no grandfather…' she thought, 'What am I going to do? I haven't been trained yet'

"How did you find me?" Jasper asked cautiously at the soldiers while glaring at them until, "That…will be me, Greenwolf." Said a deadly serious voice, as a medium height man with his muscled figure and his black bushy moustache, his black wavy hair with a hint of grey hair. He is well dressed in his dark green uniform with its golden buttons, with his white clean pants, his light-brown boots, and his sword at hand.

"Ferdinand Fairchild, how long has it been 15 years perhaps?" Jasper smirked at him while holding his werewolf anger.

Mathew dropped his glass from the table, as his mother looked at him in cold worry, "Is something the matter, Andre?"

"I am fine, mother…I just…need some fresh air." He sighs and starts to stand up from his chair, heading out to Nighthawk forest for a walk. As soon as he grabs the same black cape from yesternight. 'What's the matter with me? Why did I feel the urge to leave the castle?' so many questions ran through his mind, once he left the castle grounds from his home and hid. Once he is behind the bushes, he looked up at the sky covering itself by the dark clouds but with his inhuman speed, he started running towards the Highcloud gates avoiding the soldiers. Then, he jumped to the other side of them landing on the ground swiftly and quietly. Somehow, he stopped in his tracks and smells a familiar scent not far from where he's standing, the smells were exotic and good…then he realizes whose scent was that he smelled, it was Victoria's.

He ran and ran until he stopped again, as he watched a group of soldiers surrounding her grandfather whom he had the pleasure of saving them from the night before. Nonetheless listens to their conversation,

"It was your son's fault, that took Elizabeth from our family and now I have heard that my granddaughter is here." Ferdinand continues blaming everything on Jasper.

"She is not here," he said blankly to Ferdinand as Victoria kept watching both of her grandfather's talk when all of a sudden, someone grabbed her by the waist as it pulled her from her hiding spot and as she struggles to release herself, she turned her head and stopped struggling when she found out who it was,

'Andre!?'

His arms was wrapped around her small waist, as they were staring at each other's eyes for a long time but it was shortened by his words, "Be quiet if they find out that I am here then we're going to be in big trouble when they capture us."

His voice was almost a whisper, cold and smooth. Victoria tried not to show her flushed face in front of him because if she did, surely he would tease her by his type of character. Then, she whispered to him, "Andre, my grandfather is surrounded by General Fairchild and now he's looking for me for some reason."

Andre started thinking about how to get them out of here but Victoria was still in his arms as they both listen to her grandfather's words,

"After all these years, you are still blaming others to satisfy your anger and stubbornness, because you want the power of life from Elizabeth's daughter isn't it?" Jasper stated angrily in his defense, but Ferdinand stood there in shock at the very thought that his half-breed granddaughter is alive, "She had a child with your son 15 years ago! Tell me where she is right now!"

Jasper, however, spits on the ground and growled, "Go to hell!" As the general ordered his men to attack him and from far Victoria wanted to help but Andre wouldn't let her. As the general ordered his men to attack him and from far Victoria wanted to help but Andre still wouldn't let her. By the fact that they will be caught and be brought to the humans back to Bellfield.

"If we don't leave now, Victoria we will both be caught and killed by them," said Andre warning Victoria as she finally stopped struggling. As she thought for a moment while her grandfather kept fighting now turned into a werewolf, his brown fur with a hint of grey. However, she said, "Alright."

Before he was sure to let her go, he nodded. Before he even realizes it, she ran towards both of her grandfather's where they kept fighting like the rest of the Cornelian soldiers accompanied their general in command. she saw her grandfather fall to the ground with small scratches on his sides of his fury skin bleeding blood but as General Fairchild was about to take the final blow to kill her werewolf grandfather she ran between them and yelled,

"STOP!"

Everyone stopped, Ferdinand however lowered his sword and so did the rest and she asked, "Sir, why are you doing this to him? How can you be so revengeful?"

Not long before, Andre kept watching from his hiding spot and keeps listening,

"Ah, so you're my grandchild, humph you're the same as your mother…arrogant and as brave as your father," the General said with a mocking voice, "I could not believe you'd risk your life for a werewolf-like him," he pointed at her injured grandfather and still in his werewolf form.

Victoria clenched her teeth in anger, her knuckles turning white as a sheet because she was grabbing her dress.

However, she said, "I don't really care if you blame him or not but I am also his granddaughter I believe that my mother and father wouldn't have wanted this silly fight between 2 different species, you a human and him a werewolf. So look at me…" as they stayed silent for a minute and she continued, "I am both human and werewolf and as I can be the solution to make peace with both clans and so, why not just leave them alone and that goes with the vampires too as we should all be equal not enemies."

Everyone watched her, but no one reacted to her words but they just stood their ground and then all of a sudden, General Fairchild shouted, "Attack and kill them both!"

He was so furious by her words although, she did try her best she made it worse. Nevertheless, Victoria has no choice but to transform into her werewolf form, her transformation started with glowing light from her golden eyes then, her beige skin turned into her dark-green fur and at the same time she grew a snout and her teeth turned into sharp ones that were very white.

She growled as she was now full transform into a werewolf. As she was about to attack, the soldiers including the general all fell asleep.
