After introducing himself, Andre left in a flash leaving only Jasper and Victoria in the alley. 'Andre…' she thought of his name made her heart skip a beat every two seconds Jasper, looked at his granddaughter reaction and noticed her face was blushing in awe. However, he ruined it by saying, "He's a vampire, Victoria."
Nevertheless, Victoria still thought of Mathew, 'Even if he is a vampire I don't care.' But her thoughts were interrupted by her grandfather, grunting in annoyance. She noticed him looking at her reaction and sweatdrop. He cleared his throat, checked before stepping outside the alley, and said, "All clear, let's go Victoria." As he waved his hand, signing to follow him.
Once they were out of Cornelia, Victoria turned to look behind her the view from far and in the dark of night, the village glowed bright yellow as Jasper continued walking the steep hill while Victoria follows along, as the wind got stronger by the minute. The dark forest was beautiful at night that she muttered, "Beautiful…"
Jasper then, called her, "Victoria let's go were here, now hurry before someone sees us." She nodded in agreement and followed him to a…cabin? "Grandfather, why are we in a cabin doesn't someone live here?" she asked her grandfather, as he turned to answer her he said, "It is not just a cabin and no one lives here but me." He then opens a hatch under a rug and a cooper carved lion on its mouth, handle leading to an underground cave. Who knows where this underground passageway to the unknown…
"Grandfather, where does this lead us to?" Victoria asked kneeling to where Jasper was.
"You'll know once we get there," he calmly answers and he gently jumped down into the passageway and signalling her to come down and she did, as she blew the candle off leaving only the fireplace on. As she jumped down to join her grandfather, along with a torch.
"This way." He whispered while his granddaughter followed him with the light.
Victoria was amazed that the size of the cave was unbelievably big, 'How did my grandfather manage to make this cave?' she thought to herself as Jasper and she kept walking forward.
Minutes pass to hours and they were still walking in the silence between each other until, her grandfather announced, "We're here…" as they arrived in what appears to be a wooden and golden door, as they went inside Victoria couldn't believe it. She scanned the whole room that is full of werewolves, and then they all stared at her golden eyes and one of them asked, "Are you Jasper Greenwolfs granddaughter or you're a new werewolf?" then another man hit his head with his fist and, "Hey what was that for?" he youngling asked in the complaint.
"You're the one asking her the most obvious questions that can be answered by me, understand?"
The poor youngster pouted as he walked towards Victoria, and smelled her leaving only Jasper. Her grandfather. To explain everything about the event that happened the afternoon at the market within the village of Cornelia was their soldiers patrolling the bar and the whole perimeter as to how we escaped by the back? Moreover, a short while later, they were saved by a red-headed vampire from the High Cloud gates.
'Mathew…why was he allowed to leave his vampire grounds and to Cornelia? Hmm…I wonder if I can go across the gates and to the adventure, I want or maybe-' before she could finish her thoughts of curiosity, her grandfather Jasper said, "Everyone I want you all to know…that once I'm gone my granddaughter will be in charge of our clan. And before that happens I want you all to train and teach Victoria your professional fight and transformation skills, is that clear?"
"Yes, sir." They responded.
"I will teach my granddaughter the basics and each time she completes them, I will announce who she should challenge." While placing his hands on his waist, Victoria smiled at every single person in the room and her grandfather.
