Somewhere in Bloodsteel harbour…
In the Bloodcrest castle, owned by the famous red-headed vampires, the Beauvale family. While Andre Beauvale is standing like a statue while a servant was measuring him for his new clothes. It was a very cold and cloudy day and his sky blue eyes were turning red out of hunger making his tousled scarlet red hair, porcelain skin, delicate-looking hands and his oval-shaped face as his lips were in a straight line.
Then, the large wooden door from his room opened and there appeared Madam Beauvale. His mother. She was a very strict and beautiful woman, for her age. Her dark red hair was tied to a bun while, her oval-shaped face was soft to the touch, her slim figure as she was dressed in a dark navy blue gown.
"Andre, are you done? I need to have a word with you." She said seriously, as she shooed away the servant leaving both Andre and Madam Beauvale alone.
"You wish to speak to me, mother?" He asked her as he got down from the stool and leaned against the doorframe of his balcony.
"Your father and I will be hosting an outdoor picnic at Silverstream and we'll be inviting our closest alliance, the Dragonstone clan. I hope you talk to Katerina their youngest daughter and of course, you can talk to your 'best friend' their son…," she said.
"Harrold, mother." He corrected her.
"Alright fine. You can talk to him all you like and I wish you would not go to Cornelia again. Do I make myself clear?" she asked while her dark purple nails touched the table as she continues, "Oh and also..."
"Yes." He said.
"I will only let you go to Cornelia when we hunt since; you prefer to mingle with humans and play with them. And until you don't get into trouble with the werewolves." She finishes.
"Oh my lord, mother. Just one more night of freedom before you start with me getting married." As he complained and pleaded a little and stops immediately.
She sighed and said, "Very well but remember the guards know you and they will be informing me about your actions."
"Thank you, mother."

It began to turn dark since they escaped from the Cornelian soldiers from the bar. However, as Jasper and Victoria were walking through the market, everyone chatted and selling fresh goods out of stock Victoria was watching the rest of the humans are normal but she knew she was different.
"Grandfather…you still haven't told me the answer to my question, back at the bar." She stated while waiting for her grandfather to reply. "Hmm…do you mean why your other grandfather Fairchild gave it to your mother?" he asked, as he cocked an eyebrow as Victoria pleaded him to tell her.
"Please, I need to know."
"Because…" he sighs and continues, "The Fairchild's for a generation have kept it since the 3 tribes could not trust the vampires and the werewolves. Therefore, in order, to control their insolence. The two clans decided to give it to the humans…but they could not find a suitable family who can be trusted, until Christopher Fairchild and his wife Leslie Bornwood and they promise to keep it away from the hands of the other clans. Besides, your great grandmother Felicia made a will. In her dying bed, she called your mother and told her to keep the necklace of life. Your mother was the one who told me about the necklace."
Victoria stopped walking and looking down in shock and thought, 'So my parents knew they would die sooner or later just because they had me and the necklace…is the only thing that keeps me going so I can live to their expectations from not letting the other clans find out it's still here and with me…'
Then, all of a sudden, she spotted someone with a black hooded cape was stealing an apple from a nice old woman's stall of apples and as he was about to it eat Victoria said,
"Why are you stealing that apple, sir?"
The man froze before he can eat the apple.
