He suddenly thought of something, it was a risky plan, but it was the best idea he could think of. He slowly and quietly moved from his crouching position. He stood up straight and leaned up against the wooden crate.
He withdrew his dagger and held it close to his chest. He silently waited for them to get close, he could hear the creeking of the wood under their feet as they got close.
He waited until they got close enough and finally moved, he moved around the crate and before the enemy could make a sound Alexander stabbed the man in the throat and used his other hand to cover his mouth.
After confirming the man was dead he slowly removed the blade from the man's throat and silently dropped his body. He went to the back of the crate and saw a glimpse of one of the other thugs.
He silantly reached behind him, covering the man's mouth and used the blade to cut open the man's throat. He thought he got rid of them silently but suddenly heard a shout.
When he heard the shout, he froze and immediately dropped the body to the ground with loud thump. He quickly looked behind himself but found nothing.
He heard footsteps coming towards him, it was the man that shouted. It didn't take long for him to arrive here, probably only a few seconds.
Alexander could tell that the man came from the other side of the crate. He had miss judged, he thought their were only two guys but apparently there were three.
Alexander needed to deal with this guy fast, he could hear the scarfaced man coming towards them. He was trying to find an opening in his enemy's stance but unexpectedly his enemy struck out first.
Although he wasn't as experience in using blades, he could still see the flaws in his opponents attack. He attacked with a wide arm slashing attack.
Seeing this Alexander ducked, dodging the attack and brought his blade up. Like a flash of light the blade stabbed into the man's throat. Alexander seeing this quickly removed the blade and rolled back.
Before the body of the man fell his head was hit with a blunt object. The man's head violently hit against the crate and was crushed.
When Alexander looked up he saw who was responsible. The scarfaced man was standing behind the body, holding what appeared to be a mace.
Seeing that Alexander made a quick decision, he decided to attack first. He leaped up and stuck at the man's neck but instead of the feeling of metal plunging in to flesh like he had hoped instead he felt hitting something hard.
