Germany, underground chamber.
"So there really was a safe house…" Lise said in awe. Looking around the underground bunker. The wide pathway, littered with civilians and military. She had traveled so much but until now she had only seen a few people which she could count on with her one hand. Most of them, taking advantage of her with no sense of humanity.
She felt safe, watching the disciplined military. The easy-going people, heartily laughing with each other. Many women and children on the side, treated as they should be treated. The smile and scars on their body, showing their struggle to get here. But their laugh would stop right after, seeing the captain. The woman who she was walking with. Maybe because of her aura or her strict nature. All the military and even the easy-going civilians showed complete respect.
'They all must be like me. Saved from the dog eat dog world…' she thought, closing the coat over her body even more.
But she was still on her guard. You never knew, what might be hiding behind the skin of their happiness. it could be a fake mirage. coiling to pretend, to scape at her neck when she is in her lowest, and with her awareness evident on her face so was her aura, her force.
The captain felt it. Her leaking aura and she knew where it derived from. For every titled one, there is a story, a history. Why do they really have that title? Every person was already two or three times stronger and taller than their former self in this new world but what stood above them were the titled ones.
And it didn't take much for them to be distinguished. they themselves, giving out their aura, unique to their Title.
'Her's a bit too cold.' the captain thought. She looked around. The people around her backing away.
"Calm down…" she said. Placing her hand on her hooded head. "You are scaring them."
Lise jerked in surprise, not knowing what she was talking about, but she was right, as they were walking, they were slowly backing away. As all of their stares were only pointing at her.
She started to panic, thinking if she had done something wrong. Her gaze, looking up at the captain asking for forgiveness. She was scared, scared if she was also going to look at her as an outcast. But no, her small smile on her cold face didn't see her as the image she thought she was.
"Don't worry….I already told you, you are now under my protection? I can't promise you a life like before but I promise that I will give you strength. So follow me, trust me and trust my back." she said with assurance. Her whole self, radiating confidence.
At that moment, Lise felt it, an unknown energy blistering from her. And she didn't need to ask what it really was. Like it was coded within her from the very moment she was titled…
'Force...'
It was warm, filled with strength, so much so even she could feel her energy rising, and she wasn't alone. Looking around. Everyone heard her and like herself, they could feel her. Her charisma and confidence, giving them hope. Giving them new strength.
She gazed back at the one who the reason for it all, walking upfront. Her every step, like a true leader. In that moment. She knew she had to follow her. The person who saved her life, the one who gave her belief that humanity was still there. That they could still prevail in this new world of heinous creatures.

Japan. Tokyo. Aiden's Room.
It was already night, many weeks of searching for food and water already filling their basement, it was harder than before. The many building and markets, now covered with new hills with rich forests. The imps and certics everywhere and that wasn't enough, the surviving animals, insects, birds, every other living being, changed, from their size to their danger level.
Splat…!
Aiden didn't even look, killing a hand size mosquito with a wave of his hand. It was disgusting but that was life. And it was his fault as the door to the balcony was still open.
"Why do I always forget to close it…?" Aiden complained. Waking up from his bed.
As he paced near the balcony, he took in the fresh air. The new air, so clean and devoid of any pollution. With the full moon still blessing on him with light. He chose to stay up a bit. Gazing upon the stunning view of the newly formed forest. He had thought the certics were the reason but no, they were only the source. The air itself, the 'force' lingering within the atmosphere was helping the green life to grow, much, much faster than usual.
"I feel like, global warming shouldn't be an issue now…" he thought.
He wanted to sleep, but something was keeping him up. He opened his status, focusing on a single menu. The menu, which was colored red, with a locked sign. The bloodline menu.

He had believed he would unlock his bloodline right away but who would have thought, it needed its own Exp for properly unlocking itself.
'haaa….well, it will unlock soon…then finally, my childhood wish to take in a cool bloodline will come true.'
He checked down, looking at his many skills. He liked using Flash a lot, with a blink he could cross kilometers, but it would suck plenty 'force'. So he lowered its use to the minimum.
Eagle's eye was plenty useful. Which he, fortunately, got after concentrating his 'force' within his eyes to the maximum. And most useful of them all the skill 'Fear inducement' which he got by luckily killing the alpha of the certic or the avatar of certain someone which he now garner's plenty hate. who was clearly out of his league.
'well….that made someone happy.' he thought, reminiscing the time when the whispering demon laughed to her heart's content. so much so she gave him a skill.
"…..Demon's tongue…"
Until now, he didn't use this skill. He was cautious of it. As it was a demon's gift after all. After using the skill, mad butcherer. He was already fed with demonic skills, taking over his emotions.
''Fear inducement' is plenty useful than this skill ever will be…it can literally make the imps and certic froze in fear. What can I ask more..' he thought in satisfaction.
{What are you thinking? what? not satisfied with my gift?} Asked the duchess. Her voice, seductive as always.
Aiden sighed, he had pretended to sleep, trying to get off her constant yapping, and when he thought he finally had peace. She came right back.
"Don't you need to sleep?" he asked. His tone, more than annoyed.
He wasn't afraid anymore, always thinking over and over that he would upset her like before. He was already mentally tired as he was just a simple man, trying to survive. Not a slave for a higher power.
{....No, Demons don't sleep.} She calmly replied. In other times, she would be mad as hell but she was already used to his un-eloquent tongue. She could threaten him, about sending many of her legions onto him but she knew it wasn't the time yet.
The earth realm wasn't prepared enough for her warriors which were also true for her threats.
One thing she understood about him from all those weeks was, after every battle, he would blankly stare at something. His pupil, indicating something not afar but near. Closer to his face. She didn't know what but she was sure something was indeed there which she had no idea of. Which only he himself knew and no one else, not even his precious friends.
But she didn't care much. All she needed was entertainment and he provided that in abundance. His quick wit and learning capability astounded her all too well. So much so she felt a bit addicted.
Like watching a drama of the main character, trying to survive to the end with his friends.
{I admit, you really are bread for entertainment.}
Aiden wasn't surprised by her remark, as for many weeks, she had stuck with him in his head. Watching his every move. Watching his every fight. Laughing at his every mistake and sometimes cheering on his close call wins.
What surprised him was the notifications right after.

'Well, I will be damned' He thought in surprise. The thought of her being annoying turned 180. Now, his heart perplexing to chat with her more. Trying to find any scrape of a topic.
"If you have free time chatting, why don't you tell me about the skill you gifted me?" he asked. Trying to maintain his tone at a level where he was neither disrespectful nor too polite.
{.....}
"What not telling…?"
{No, I will tell. just a bit surprised.}
Aiden gulped, panicking if he was really that obvious. But he didn't show it on his face. Playing it cool and charming as usual. He brushed off his golden hair. Phasing himself to look more charming, like all the dramas he used to watch. He usually wouldn't act like this but he wouldn't miss any opportunity that would make him stronger.

'oh…that was easy.'
"What, not telling..?" he asked.
{…..I…I will tell, you pesky human.}
It was his first time, listening to her stutter and he liked it. Who would have thought, his looks would finally give him something instead of unwanted problems.
'haha…. let's make this night a bit more enjoyable.' he thought.
