Lenora stood infront of the witch tower as she fidgeted with her fingers. She didn't realize when she came or what she was doing there.
She asked her heart to guide her and her heart led her here. She gulped down a mouthful of saliva nervously. Taking a deep breath she decided to go ahead. After all, she came this far.
Lifting her palm, she placed it on the wall beside the gate, engraved explicitly with a palm print. Her palms perfectly fit in the shape as if it was made according to her size.
The moment her palm touched the cold wall, she felt like her energy was being sucked in. Just as she was about to remove her hand, it felt like her hand got stuck to that particular spot. Her inner mana wasn't being sucked but… something strange was happening to her body. It's as if her mana was being returned or more likely to say it's being rejected.
