Maximus woke up feeling a soft plush in his arms. Opening his tired eyes, he saw his wife in his body. She hugged him as she slept like a baby. With a smile, he placed a small lingering kiss on her forehead as he continued to look at her.
As he looked at her, all the events that happened the previous night came into his mind. The way she yelled in her sleep while having a dream. The way her face marred with fear, worry, helplessness, and pain made his heart ache for her.
He wondered if she was going through the same thing for the past two years yet she didn't open her mouth. The way Zaros looked surprised last night, made him realize that he doesn't know.
A brother… doesn't how his sister was feeling?
