The palace was bustling with preparations and people. The whole kingdom was happy. Because everyone felt a surge of energy in their bodies. They knew they became stronger because of the king and his mate's reunion. This was the reason why a king needs a mate. A mate will give strength to the king and his citizens.
A kingdom without a queen would be barren. That was the reason, Serene has to take over after Alahendra's demise.
Even though Serene was not the king's wife but her mother, the damage wasn't filled. There was always something amiss in the kingdom. Now the king found a mate, hope rose in the hearts of citizens. And the last night when they mated, a surge of energy that passed through citizens' bodies which was the result of the moon goddess's gift, gave hope to them.
And tomorrow is the coronation day, they want to make it big and ceremonious. The citizens were especially cheery and joyous.
