Chapter 31 - Chapter 31

Nicholas seemed to be driving his car, and then he seemed silent. How could it not be? The district he passed through was entirely unfamiliar to him, even though he had used a map to get to the location. This was the first time he had driven his car for quite a distance because he usually always relied on the driver. Nicholas looked at his phone again to ensure he was on the right track. He glanced at the seat beside him, then took a deep breath. How could I not? Grace was sleeping very soundly.

Nicholas looked on his chin, and he looked at Grace with a happy look on her face. How not, Nicholas enjoyed this moment, when he saw the figure he loved was in front of him sleeping very soundly, like an innocent and innocent little angel. If only Grace knew how much she wanted to do sweet things with Grace, but she had enough resilience. He had grown too tired of seeing Grace so scared and hated him, which was why he didn't want her to do the same thing again. Nicholas wanted he do it on a consensual basis with Grace so that Grace could enjoy every stab of love he gave her. Because in the eyes of Nicholas, Grace is not the woman as an outlet like the others. Which Nicholas could treat was even worse than an animal.

"Are we there yet?" asked Grace, who seemed to have opened her eyes.

Nicholas immediately moved his body away from Grace, and then he was silent. Honestly, he was feeling shocked and nervous right now. How could I not? Grace suddenly woke up and made her shocked half to death.

"I don't know where your house is; the road goes down an alley. I think we're lost now," Nicholas replied.

Grace frowned upon hearing that, and then she seemed to roll her eyes. Looking around, she smiled. She got up from her lying position and took some of her things.

"We're here, Nick. Come on, and we have to get off now," Grace replied.

Again, Nicholas frowned. Looking around, he felt that he had missed something like this, something that was entirely out of his control. Yes, he did tell his people from the beginning and even now to scout Grace's house get some photos of Grace's house, but Nicholas had no idea the place would be this strange.

"All right," Nicholas replied, hurrying out to get Grace's suitcase and opening the door for Grace. Getting that sweet treatment, Grace seemed flattered. She smiled sweetly at Nicholas.

"You know, my house isn't as big as your castle-like house. My house isn't even one-hundredth of your big house."

Nicholas seemed to smile at that, an innocent narration from Grace which he thought was very funny. Even Nicholas knew this was his doing. If only she hadn't done anything wrong, then Grace would have had a decent life with her brother. How not, their father was a director of a well-known bank, his salary was not small. But it had to end, and she even lost all of her savings because of the mental depression that Grace and her brother had received all this time. Nicholas smiled wryly, and then he grabbed Grace's waist, something that took Grace by surprise. Nicholas' first touch that Grace found so ... warm.

"Maybe after this, your sister will ask you a lot of questions. About who I am, how we met, and what kind of relationship we have. However, I have prepared everything very perfectly. You don't need to worry. I can answer it smoothly."

"Oh yeah? What are you going to answer Korvy's questions for me, Nick?" asked a very curious Grace.

"I would say that we are lovers. It will be much easier than we think. And most importantly, your sister will not protest much. She will immediately agree," Nicholas smiled, making Grace stunned again. Today for some reason, Nicholas seems to have come out of his dark and dark side. Nicholas appeared to be a new person, a warm and pleasant person. Or rather, Nicholas was trying to make amends? But, for the third thing, Nicholas seems confused. What mistake? Grace didn't feel that Nicholas had done anything wrong to her.

"Don't be silly, more than Korvy would agree. He'd be even more incredulous that his ugly sister could have a boyfriend like you. You know, even back when I was a teenager when I idolized my next-door neighbor so much, he kept telling me that I can't dream in broad daylight because he says I'm like a frog that misses the moon. Even though I think I can still reach my neighbor, he is one of the students from one of the universities here,"

Hearing that, Nicholas smiled again, which made Grace even more scared. How could it not be? Grace even felt that maybe Nicholas was an extraordinary figure now, or even that the man was currently experiencing a mental disorder or even possessed.

"You're in good health and conscious, right?" Grace investigated in the end, pressed her forehead to Nicholas' forehead, and it managed to make Nicholas' face turn red.

"I'm awake, and I'm fine,"

"You've been acting weird the last few days, really," Grace said.

Nicholas was silent again. Was he that weird? Even though he was trying to warm Grace. He had destroyed Grace many times, and he wanted to make up for it all. But why is now Grace suspecting him by saying no? Nicholas seemed to clear his throat, he immediately took the first step, causing Grace to withdraw her hand again.

"You walk around like you know my house better than I do," Grace protested. Nicholas looked silent, and he couldn't possibly tell if he knew the outside of Grace's house because he had been spying and stalking Grace all along. So all he could do was be quiet, instead of talking a lot and making Grace protest again because of her friendly and cheerful attitude.

"So, where's your house? I'm tired, want to rest," Nicholas finally said, even though he knew Grace's was on the second block of the houses he was looking at right now. Grace shook her head as if she were advising a child, then she took Nicholas' hand and was led into the block and toward his house.

"This is my house, Nick. And welcome to my house," Grace said with a small smile.

Nicholas could only be silent, and he couldn't even say anything now. His mouth was dry to answer Grace's words, and then he seemed to smile stiffly.
