The next morning, I woke up to the rays of light shining bright on my face. My hands rubbed my eyes lazily, and fell to a hard body. It was then I realised the pair of arms that held me strongly on the bed.
I looked down and his long, pure white, straight hair fell on his face, that was nuzzled against my chest on the bed.
I nearly lit up a smile on my face but i didn't do anything stupid, so I just watched as he was sleeping peacefully on my arms. He was enjoyable to watch. I could watch him all day if possible.
What happened here last night... The kiss....
I feel terrible... I just betrayed my mate bond by kissing this Alpha. Why did I do it? I should be stoned to death or hanged on the hanging gallows because I deserve nothing but death after betraying my mate.
But it couldn't be helped. It felt like my wolf as well wanted this. To cheat on her mate....
I know of wolves as pure creatures, which distincts us to dogs because we stick to the one partner we have, chosen by the moon goddess. I can't even begin to imagine it, seeing my wolf being seduced by a wolf other than her soulmate.
She seemed however enticed by this one man.
Or was it because he was human?
Despite being human, his air was terrific but amazing.
Honestly, I started to doubt if at all he was human. He didn't look like it. He can read my thoughts, whenever he wants to.... And whenever I close my eyes, I feel like he is with me, watching over me. Will I keep sleeping and waking up in his arms or by him?
Suddenly, he woke up from his sleep with wide opened eyes. I wonder if he just had a nightmare. I stare into his beautiful eyes, almost lust into it that I withdraw from looking at him and turn the other way.
"Good morning, beautiful." He greets and my cheeks warm up. I hate my stupid human anatomy that has made me to heat up because of this his sentence.
He chuckled but I refrained from laughing along, lest I do something that shouldn't have.
Instead, "When shall I get punished, sir." I ask him. He doesn't say a word and I turn to look at him just to be a breath away from his lips.
This time, I won't stare and allow him to defile my lips once again, I will just turn back but he had his arms around my waist to prevent me from going anywhere.
"You are pretty stubborn, sweetheart." His words or rather his voice reverberates in my skin like a slow shock.
However, I tilted my head and leaned it on the other side. If I wasn't going to escape his hands, my face should escape his.
But it didn't seem to affect him in any way. Not like I wanted it to affect him in any way. I just... I just don't want to keep sinning against my mate.
His hands slowly leave my body and I find myself crying within that he left me. I was beginning to enjoy the comfort of his hands around my waist.
"See you later. I have some work to do." He said and then left me to my world. I was still shocked at how he could even be this affecting on me.
Darasmus wasn't as affecting as this king. Even though it was just the day of our mating that I was taken away from him, I didn't feel oddly attracted to him the way I am with the king. Is it because the king is far younger than Darasmus?
I still don't understand any of it. I just at times will feel like I am a traitor, whereas, my wolf seems to want the very thing.

"Alpha! Lady Anika is around and she requests to see you." Deconias's voice interrupted his sleep. More to that, the idea that Anika was here to see him at such early hours of the morning was a problem to him.
Not for once had he ever liked her so the idea of establishing a mind link with her was something that he dared not to do. He didn't want to established any mind link with her. But now he regretted why he didn't establish a mind link with her so that he will know that she is coming.
"Keep her at the dining in the garden. I am coming right away." Colten replied back using mind link. He turned to his beauty who had woken up before himself. Or that is not the case.
He actually woke up in the middle of the night and couldn't sleep, just watching her beautiful face as she slept. He had never been this close to any one in his entire life. He never loved nor cared for someone the way he did and cared for her. She was like a light in his darkness.
But this his light was one stubborn light that loved to roll to where her body liked the most, as he watched how she was turning and nearly falling off the bed.
So he pinned her in his arms and just slept by her side. She seemed a little uneasy as a baby, making him to worry but her smile reassured him. It was just a little nightmare which she will probably be forgetting in the morning hours. He didn't realize he had slept until now that he opened his eyes to her warm and enchanting eyes looking at him.
"Good morning, beautiful." He greeted her and she blushed.
He smiled seeing her the way she was red all because he called her beautiful. He adored it when he teased her and he bowed for it when she will redden up because of him. This meant that, they both felt attracted to each other.
This was a good sign.
Even though she was trying to avoid him by asking him questions.... He didn't want to be with her and forget a dangerous guest of his that awaited him outside.
As he went out, he gave strict instructions. "If she is not safe in her room then prepare for your heads shall be hung on the gallows." He said this and just walked away.. to the garden.
