In a blink of an eye the due date for Molly's departure arrived.
Mrs Johnson had already contacted her friend Mrs Liam in the city and discussed everything with her.
No one in the family was ready to part with Molly but the situation had reached this point.
On the day before Molly went to help her mother sell the fruits and juice just to make sure she spent enough time with her.
At night they bought some fish to prepare for a herty dinner.
They talked for a while and even the playful Natasha was not left out either.
"Dear I want you to be a good girl that you have always been. Listen to Mrs. Liam and stick to her for guidance. Don't trust anyone easily cause the people in the city are too much of sly Foxes. Remember to pray and we will always pray for you too." Mrs Johnson gave tonnes and tonnes of advice to Molly.
She was being extra cautious with her precious daughter.
On that night Molly kept thinking of what will become of her life.
She is not used to the city life and the City itself.
She is used to the humble life of her home town that is full of nature and good peace.
This was a new turning point for her.
All she was praying for was a humble time although the path won't be a piece of cake.
With the thoughts in her mind Molly fell asleep at dawn.
The following morning Molly woke up at six in the morning.
She took a shower reminiscing about the moments she spent in this room since she was a child over the years.
She smiled at the thought. She put on her favourite blue simple but beautiful dress which was a present from her father.
She matched them with a pair of white flat open shoes and tied her hair into a neat ponytail.
Molly is not used to applying make-up on her face but she is beautiful even without it.she is a natural beauty.
She picked her white suitcase which was not that expensive and headed to the living room having glanced at the room for the last time.
In the living room mr.benson was on the sofa while Mrs Johnson was beside him.
when Mrs Johnson saw me she quickly came and took my hand leading me to the sofa.
I held both their hands while seated in between them as we spoke through our hearts.
Mrs. Johnson took out a necklace with a heart shaped pendant that reflected light.
"Sweetheart take this and keep it with you. Always wear it . This will indicate our presence with you. It is also for good luck wherever you go."Mrs Johnson said handing me the neckless.
At this moment I could not keep hold of my emotions and my tears flowed down my cheeks.
I hugged both of them and also hugged Natasha.
"I promise that I am going to work hard and that I won't be a disappointment." I said
"Please don't push yourself too hard and always remember to take some rest and eat your meals on time."She said to me of which I agreed.
At exactly nine I left the house for the bus station.
The bus station was 20 minutes walk and the departure time of the bus was 10 am.
At exactly 9:30 am I had booked my ticket and boarded the bus.
Reality now hit me hard. I was now leaving my roots to an unknown land.
"Passengers please put on your seat belts the bus is about to take of."The driver announced
