Chapter 7 - chapter 7: Mrs. Liam

A woman in her forties came down from a white car dressed in a blue qipao smiling lovingly.

"Hello dear I'm here finally. Come give aunt a big hug. You have really grown into a fine young lady."she said heading in my direction

From my first impression she seems to be a nice and loving lady and I am naturally drawn to her automatically.

Since she came with her arms wide open I gave her a tight hug forgetting my earlier frustration.

Once again she took my hand and swirled me around with her mouth wide open saying how the little girl she doted on had grown into such a beauty.

At this moment I was starting to feel shy because she was attracting some attention.

"Thanks Mrs Liam you are also beautiful."I said to her.

To be honest she was really beautiful for her age just like my mom Mrs. Johnson.

"No no no please don't call me Mrs Liam. Call me aunt. When you call me Mrs Liam I feel distant from you and I don't want such a thing. We are now family." she said and I agreed to her request.

After that she took me to the car with my suitcase behind her.She put my suitcase inside the boot and got in the car.

On our way home she kept talking non-stop about this and that.

In a way she reminded me of the talkative Natasha back at home.

She began talking about their early days with my mom.

She said that they were both inseparable and they were normally mistaken for siblings.

She said that mom was the heartthrob of many men back in the days.

The rich always thought that they could always win her over with their money but they were always in for disappointments.

She fell in love with Mr Benson and she would never let him go for any reason until this moment.

As for her Mrs Liam she got married and her husband Mr Josh got a job transfer at Golden city and that is where she lives right now.

She also told me how she tried to persuade my parents to come to the city but they refused saying that they were loving the moments in their hometown.

It was a very difficult moment for them when the time came for them to part ways. She wished she could stay but she could just leave her husband alone. Before she left the following day during that time she and my mom kept cuddling with my mom for the last moments.

In my point of view I can't imagine how difficult it was. I just sighed at the thought of it. I was glad though that they have always kept in touch with each other and they are still friends that can help each other.

Just like that she kept telling me about everything until we finally reached her home.
