Lockhart finished the tonic. He gently pours it in a glass vile, with a cork top. "Come on nurses, let go help Dahlia!" he expressed. They all rush back to Dahlias suite to give her the tonic. They rush down the hallway towards her room. "Whats that?" Dahlia asked weakly. "It must be Lockhart, he must have created the tonic" My dad said full of hope. We see Lockhart come racing in. He's holding a tiny vile in his hands. "Dahlia, the tonic is almost ready, we just need the blood of a relative before you drink it" Lockhart said. "Here take my blood!" my mother yells. I see Lockhart pull out the blade, slices my moms finger open and squeezes a singular large blood drop into the vile. The tonic illuminates a glistening red. Lockhart then hands me the vile. "Dahlia, hurry and drink it" He said. I hesitate...that has my moms blood in it. I hold my nose and down the whole thing. After drinking it my entire body illuminates the same red hue. A few minutes go by and nothing has happened... "Did it work?" Dahlia asks with hesitation. "I followed it according the instructions and didn't change a thing. The notes don't specify if it works fast or not" Lockhart said. "Give it a little more time" my dad states. Everyone nods in agreement. 30 minutes goes by and there still is no change. "Do you feel anything yet, Dahlia" My mother asked. "No I feel finnnne, OH MY GOD!" Dahlia starts to scream bloody murder. "MAKE IT STOP!" Dahlia continues. Dahlia falls to the floor grasping her face and continually screaming bloody murder. "It hurts, it's hurts so bad" Dahlia wails. Everyone is standing there watching her as she is in agonizing pain, but they don't see anything happening. Dahlias cries, almost physically breaking her mom, Emma. Ethan pulls Emma in tightly against his chest as she starts to cry in hysterics. "Lockhart, what's happening!" my dad demands. "I don't know! The notes didn't say this would happen, look!" Lockhart points to the pages of Grimoire. "Maaaakkke iiitttt sssttooop!" Dahlia continues to wail. "Hold on honey!" My mother tries to comfort me. Dahlia, let's out an earth scattering scream that busts all the windows and mirrors in the vicinity. Dahlia falls to the ground no longer making a sound or moving "Dahlia!" my mother yells. My mother tries to rush to my side, my dad stops her. "Emma, wait a few more minutes" my dad said. "Is she dead!" my mother screams. Lockhart cautiously goes to where Dahlia lays lifeless, still in her monstrous form. "She's still breathing, we're just gonna have to wait" Lockhart said. Dahlia's family and friends stand by as watch to see what happens next. Another 30 minutes goes by and no change. You can hear small whimpers coming from Dahlia. Nothing has yet to change. Everyone is growing impatient as another hour goes by. "Dahlia?" My mother whispers. Dahlia doesn't make a sound or move. The scene that's unfolding in front of them looks grim at best. Suddenly, Dahlia lays there still lifeless, but her body starts to change. Her claws start to retract, you can hear tearing flesh go back and heal. You can hear the bones crunching as her tail retracts. You see, her ears go back to normal. You can hear her face crunch and distort as her beautiful angelic face returns to normal. The ominous aura around her disappears. "It worked!" Lockhart exclaimed. "At what cost!" my dad yells with a growl. "Ethan, Lockhart is doing what he thinks is best" Emma expressed. Dahlia's guards stand watching their Luna horrified. Dahlia starts to move. "Look" Emma whispers. Lockhart goes over and touches Dahlia's arm. "Dahlia are you okay" Lockhart asks. Dahlia, flings herself into a sitting position and let's out another earth shattering scream. Dahlia passes back out.
***A few hours have passed by, since Dahlia horrific start of the day. It's now late evening and everyone is waiting for her to wake up after she passed out again.***
It's now 6pm. "What happened Raven Star?" Dahlia asked her wolf. "The tonic that was given, was very powerful and it hurt us" My wolf whimpered. "I'm so sorry Raven Star, are you okay?" Dahlia asked. "Yes, the wolf spirits that inhabit you will be okay, but let's never do that again" my wolf said upset. "I thought you said it would help, why did it hurt so much?" Dahila asked. "I didn't know it would cause us pain. Reversal of a partial shift by force I've never experienced" Dahlia's wolf replied. "It's time to wake up Dahlia" my wolf said. My eyes snap open. "Oh Dahlia!" my mother yelled. "Are you okay?" My dad asked kneeling by me. "Can we agree, never to do that again?" Dahlia chuckled. "I will make sure to make notes in the archives. If I would have known, I wouldn't have put you through that" Lockhart said. "My wolves didn't know either" Dahlia said. Everyone looks at each other confused. "Wolves" is whispered. "Yes, I'm still inhabited by several celestial wolf spirits" Dahlia said. Everyone just stares at me. I don't have answers, this is my first time being a werewolf. I look around my room and it's a disaster. "Did I do all of this?" Dahlia asked. "A real bull in a China shop" my dad says. My mother elbows him in the ribs. "Ouch!". "Can you stand Dahlia?" Lockhart asked. I go to try and stand and my legs are a little wobbly. Jackson and Paige rush to my rescue. "Thanks" I manage out. "Can we go get some food, before we meet the pack?" Dahlia asked. "You're still up for that?" My mom asks. "Absolutely!" Dahlia said. "Unbelievable" my dad says. "Let's go to the kitchen" my mom motions to my guards to follow. My mom makes me a sandwich and I inhale it. Everyone else isn't even half way done. I smile from ear to ear. I wait patiently for the rest to finish. "Ready!" Dahlia asks as the last piece of a sandwich is consumed. They laugh at me at being overly eager. "Okay, let's go meet the pack" My dad says.
