Currently, I feel like the world is in my favor. Everything is going so well in my life.
Sam and I have decent popularity, we both have boyfriends. I had my first kiss in the fairy tale dance, by the way.
That moment still gives me butterflies.
I wrote countless pages in my journal about that simple moment. Wait, simple? I mean amazing, star bending, wonderful moment.
Christian has been so incredible. He recently told me that this was his first time being in a relationship. I'm honored to be his first girlfriend.
My parents are doing even better with their business. More deals, which means more money.
I honestly need another closet. Mine is so full of outfits, handbags, and more crazy things.
Now that I mentioned crazy things, you'll never believe what I just did.
I was the guest interviewer for some big music awards. With that experience, I became more interested in being an influencer. Seeing all of those people being famous for one thing inspired me.
I'm already famous, what's stopping me from becoming more famous?
Well, I'm not that famous. You ask a random person on the street who is Jessica Michaels and they will say, Who?
That's my dream now, I guess.
Just thinking about it made me a little sure about my future, even if I'm just a freshman.
This winter break has been nothing but, hanging with Christian, and rewatching rom-coms I've seen a hundred times with Sam.
This new semester is all about my happiness.
And I'm not gonna let anything ruin it.
Vanessa
It's the first day of school and the principal called me to his office.
Is the video trending again? I haven't seen it anywhere. No, I don't think it's that.
I entered the office and the principal told me to sit down.
-"did I do something wrong?" I asked and he shook his head.
-"You're not in trouble, Miss Bonet. You've been on a roll here at Williamson"
I know he's referring to my victory at the quiz competition in Ohio. My team won thanks to me. I ended up answering almost half of the questions.
The door opened and someone entered.
It was Dominick Greer. That mean prick from the football team.
-"Mr. Greer, sit please" he showed the chair and he sat in an ugly position.
How can a man?—- You know what, I'm not going to answer that.
-"Dominick, your grades are bad and if you keep this up, you'll have to repeat the year"
He's flunking. Not to sound judgy, but I kinda see it.
-"make classes easier" he suggested and the principal shook his head.
-"if you study, it makes it easier"
He said and Dominick rolled his eyes.
Why am I here? Did the principal call me here to witness Dominick getting told he's flunking?
-"I'm sorry, but why am I here?" I asked.
-"I'm getting to that. Dominick, I'm going to have Vanessa tutor you"
What! No, no, no! Tutor this guy!
-"can someone else tutor him? I usually spend all my evenings studying" I said trying to make him change his decision.
-"the quiz team won by you, I'm pretty sure you don't need to spend the entire evening studying," he said.
-"quiz team?" Dominick said in a mocking tone then laughed.
-"Something funny, Mr. Greer?"
The principal said and Dominick cleared his throat.
-"no, go on" he hid a grin.
-"you start today, I don't want a student flunking his freshman year," he said Dominick ended up agreeing.
-"fine" he rubbed his forehead.
-"fine, can I go now?" I asked and the principal let me go.
I left angrily.

I prepared a folder on how to start my journey as an influencer, images, colors. I spent all night preparing this folder.
I was thinking of uploading a TikTok because those get viral, or start a YouTube channel. I'm going to do both anyway, but which one should I do first?
I arrived at the kitchen and Sam was preparing a Breakfast smoothie.
-"want some?" He asked and I said yes.
-"Sam, today I start my journey as an influencer"
I said confidently.
-"you're still thinking about that?" He asked.
-"I'm ready" I grabbed my phone and checked to see the viral trends.
-"ok, that's dumb," I said as I scrolled.
Are all of the videos like this? This is not entertaining.
-"you still want to be an influencer?" He asked as he took a sip of his smoothie.
I served some in a cup.
-"I can become a trendsetter, I'll make new trends," I said
-"ask Charley, he's trendy" Sam suggested.
-"you're right. I need to talk to him at school"
I drank the smoothie quickly and we went to school.
Charley waited for Sam at the entrance.
-"let me steal your boyfriend for a sec," I said to Sam.
-"Charley, have you made any trends lately?" I asked and he shook his head after thinking.
-"no, but, Nicole made a dance viral, now everyone on campus is doing it," he said and I thanked him.
Where's Nicole?
I looked for her everywhere. I saw the video of her that went viral, and I thought Charley was kidding, but the video has over 2 million views.
I finally found her. She was at the gym with the cheerleaders.
-"Hi, Nicole," I said.
-"Jessica Michaels, what do I owe this pleasure?" She said confidently
-"I wanted to ask you about something?"
I showed her the video on my phone.
-"How did you get it this viral?" I pointed at the views.
-"good hashtags, content, also who can resist this pretty face," she said and I laughed.
-"That's a fact"
She's beautiful, that is a good one for getting views.
-"are you planning, on filming videos?" She asked and I nodded.
-"want to film one together?" She asked and I agreed.
She put her phone in a position and we started filming the video.
Vanessa
I had to go to Dominick's house because my parents would've killed me if I brought a boy home.
I just want to get this over with. He's an ass. The fact that I'm going to spend all of my evenings with him, brings me, terror.
He took me to his room and it was surprisingly, clean.
-"aren't your parents home?" I asked.
-"Working, both of them," he said.
Great, I'm home alone with a guy like him. Hope he doesn't try anything.
I opened my book bag and I pulled out a notebook. It was organized and prepared.
Dominick snorted a laugh.
I noticed.
-"Excuse me?" I said
-"you're silly" he rolled his eyes and grabbed his notebook which was empty.
He has never taken notes in class.
This is going to take longer than anticipated.
-"ok, let's start with an easy one, science," I said
-"easy?" He asked.
-"never mind," I said and I started writing some things down.
The room was silent. He always talks, why is he quiet.
He watched me write.
-"ok, I'm going to start explaining"
I explained everything to him and he didn't get it.
After explaining a few more times he slowly started to catch on.
He's pretty smart if he dedicates himself to these kinds of things.
I asked him to do an exercise in his notebook and I would evaluate the result to see if he actually learned.
He seemed so focused.
After a few minutes, he gave me his notebook.
He did good, only just one mistake.
-"you got it right, you just forgot to add this sign" I pointed and he nodded.
-"that's it?" He asked surprised.
-"Yeah, that's the subject"
He was impressed with himself.
We spent the entire evening and to be honest he wasn't that bad to me, he kinda was interested in the subject and did really well.

Well, that flopped. The video I made with Nicole had only three thousand views. Couldn't they recognize me?
What do I need to do to trend?
I texted Charley.
Jessica: I need help, STAT
Charley: what's wrong, Lol
Jessica: I can't make myself trend.
Charley: make a video, talk, get people to know you, Like a storytime.
Jessica: look at you, the god of ideas. I will be trying that!
Charley: good. Now if you excuse me, I have to get back to texting Sam.
I rushed to my closet and grabbed a camera. Set it up, and I started filming.
I told the story when Me and Sam's middle school play experience. It was embarrassing. A cardboard tree fell on Sam and I sang a number while he tried to get up.
Vanessa
I arrived at school the next day and Dominick called me.
-"Hey, Vanessa!" He yelled and walked towards me with his girlfriend, Nicole.
-"I just wanted to thank you for yesterday," he said and Nicole looked at him confused.
-"I did more of those when you left, but I don't know if I did them right"
-"just send them to me in text and we'll discuss them when I tutor you today," I said and he thanked me and left with Nicole.

I arrived at the kitchen and I checked my phone. My video had over 30 thousand views overnight.
How did this happen?
I did it, I blew up!
That's weird, Sam isn't in the kitchen.
-"Hey mom, where's Sam?" I asked.
And she entered the kitchen.
-"he left early, said that he didn't want to talk to you"
Why? Is it about the video I posted? I have to go talk to him.
I arrived at school and he was at the entrance with Charley.
I walked towards him and he looked so disappointed.
-"can I talk to you?" I asked.
-"I should get to class," Charley said and left.
-"what the hell was that, Jessica? You story timed an embarrassing moment just for fame and views"
-"I didn't know if you were still embarrassed by it," I said
-"how about asking first? I'm going to class," he said and left.
