I received a text from Sam.
Sam: You're the cutest, thanks for sending me this
I read the text confused. What did I send?
Charley: what did I send?
Sam: you told me you changed your number and you sent me a video you had on your gallery.
Charley: I'm confused.
Sam sent me the video.
It was a video I filmed of myself when I started to talk to Sam.
-"I really like him. He gives me an incredible feeling in my heart, that's like a heart attack. Should I text him, should I go to his house? No, that would make me a stalker.
I played a song in the video.
-"This is the song that makes me think of you," I said and I started dancing to the song.
It's been long since I saw that video.
Charley: I never sent you this
Sam: then who did?
My Instagram started receiving so many comments. I went and checked to see why people were commenting.
My video was posted.
I tried to delete it but it kept being posted.
Charley: Sam, I've been hacked.
Sam: that's serious. Change your password
Charley: I will. I have to go and sort this out.
Sam: see you tomorrow.
I went to settings quickly and I changed my password.
The video couldn't get deleted.
People started writing mean comments.
"What a creep. If someone like that liked me, I would move schools"
"He's so silly, LOL"
"Charley Garner, the one who doesn't stop"
"I feel bad for Sam Michaels"
I threw my phone and I started crying.
Those comments are getting to me.
Why are they writing those? Am I that creepy?
Maybe I am.
I called Sam.
-"Hey, what's up? You ok?" He asked.
-"do you think I was a creep when you first met me?" I asked.
-"no, why?"
-"People are writing some things about me online"
-"Want me to come over?" He offered.
I didn't want him to come. I wasn't in the mood to see him. I'm usually so excited to have him come over.
-"ok, fine. I'll see you tomorrow at school" Sam said and I hung up without saying goodbye.
I laid on my bed and I looked at the ceiling.
Jessica
-"and that concludes this video, thank you for watching," I said and I pressed stop to the recording on my camera.
My channel has blown up, just how I wanted. Sam isn't speaking to me after what I talked about in my first video.
I miss our daily gossip and us talking non-stop about boys.
Talking about boys, I am going on a date with Christian today. He was going to take me to a Chinese restaurant.
I love going on dates with him. We're the best couple at Williamson, argue with the wall.
I sent him a text letting him know that I was picking him up.
I arrived at his house and he looked so happy to see me.
He entered the car and kissed me.
-"Good to see you," he said.
-"Good to see you, too" I kissed him again.
We arrived at the restaurant and we went to our table.
Christian grabbed the menu and spent almost the whole evening trying to choose what to eat.
-"Everything looks so good," he said frustrated.
-"Why don't we order the same thing?" I offered and he nodded.
-"that'll save me from deciding" he added and I laughed.
We waited for our food and we talked.
-"Have you figured out who is sending those videos?"
Those videos have been taking the school by storm. I haven't received one, I'm relieved.
Christian received his after he performed with his band. Jodi got one, Florine got one as well, even Sam, but not me.
-"I recovered and locked my account after it was leaked. That's the best I could do" Christian said.
-"isn't there any trace from the person doing it?"
I don't know anything about this, I'm dumb when it comes to computers, hacking, all that.
Christian helped me understand. That's what I like about him.
The server came with our food.
-"it looks good. I'm trusting you on this one, Jessica"
He grabbed his chopsticks and started eating. He grinned.
-"This is good," he said and I laughed.
-"I knew you would like it"
We both leaned in and we kissed. This time we actually did it. No earthquakes this time.
Charley
Mom knocked on my door.
-"Charley you up? At this time you're always up" she knocked on my door once again.
I was laying down in my bed. I still haven't got ready. I don't feel in the mood to go to school today. People will just make fun of me because of the video.
-"I'm coming in" she entered and she saw me in bed.
-"Charley, you're not ready?" She asked surprised.
-"I don't want to go to school today," I said softly.
She sat next to me and rubbed my back.
-"Stay here all you want. Want to tell me what's wrong?" She asked.
-"someone posted a video of me online and now people are making fun of me in a mean way"
-"stay away from your phone, we can't let people trigger the worst"
She got up and offered me her hand.
-"let's get up, I'll make you some tea"
-"I love tea," I said and I got up slowly.
Inside me, a voice screamed at me to stay in bed. That negative inside voice is terrifying. Sometimes, I can overcome it, but it's too powerful.
I got a little motivation to clean up. It feels good to clean up after a sad night, those always make me feel new and happy.
I went downstairs and Sam was there.
-"Sam?" I said and he came and hugged me.
-"you didn't text me after that, I got worried," he said.
-"I'm ok, just triggered my depression a little"
-"forget about those haters. They haven't experienced a crush like you and they are jealous that you are happy and with me. If you continue to be sad, I'll kiss you until you smile" Sam kissed repeatedly on my face.
-"Alright, alright" we laughed.
-"you guys are too cute," mom said and she handed me a cup of tea.
Jessica
-"omg crown, you have to see this" I showed her my phone.
She read a text message that I sent to an agency, and they responded.
-"they want to meet me, thank you Jessica" she hugged me, jumping up and down.
-"calm down!" I laughed. She was so happy. I love doing things for my friends.
-"your interview is next week," I said and she pretended to faint.
-"I hope this one turns out good"
I agree. Crown has had such bad luck with these opportunities. I hope this one works out for her.
-"you're the greatest friend I ever had" she hugged me again.
We walked through the hallways of the school.
-"so, how was your date with Christian, yesterday?"
-"it was amazing. We are such a solid couple, and the connection we have is big"
Crown smiled
-"I wish I had a love story like yours" she whined.
-"now you sound like Sam," I said and we both laughed.
-"speak of the devil" she pointed forward and I saw Christian.
A smile grew on my face and Crown left.
He came to me and kissed me.
-"hey," he said in a soft tone that made me wild.
-"Hey," I said back, softly and he smiled.
-"have you studied for our math test?"
He asked and I shook my head and he gasped lightly.
-"that's today. Come on I'll help you study" he put his arm on my shoulder and we went to the library.
Charley
We spent the entire day, watching movies, eating, and laughing.
We were cuddling on the couch and Sam just bolted up.
-"I just had an idea"
He grabbed his phone and put it on the table.
-"what are you doing?" I asked.
-"We are going to slow dance" he offered me his hand and I looked at it.
-"Charley Garner, do you want to dance?" He said in an elegant tone that made me laugh.
-"of course I will" I grabbed his hand and he pulled me up slowly.
Sam played the song.
It was my favorite song from "The Spades" album.
This song has always given me chills, and when I listen to it with Sam, it gives me a feeling I can't even explain.
A feeling so powerful, it stops any negative emotion from taking over.
I looked at Sam's eyes and he looked at mine. We both leaned for a kiss.
The kiss was soft and sweet.
While I kissed him the feeling came back. It's hitting me like a truck and my knees fall weak.
The feeling grows familiar each second until I realize...
