"What do you mean by come in? I have no idea about this place and I have never seen you before." Noah resisted as he stood in front of a big company with no idea and clue.
"Trust us for some time, sir. We were asked to bring you here comfortably so if you are stressed we will be in trouble." The man spoke as he reassured him with another smile, one of the hundred smiles he received in the car ride.
"I will come along." Lia interrupted as she held his hands.
They walked into the office with half heart just because they were curious about why they need Noah. Noah was just seen once in the mall and he is already being approached by people. Lia started to think how hard it will be for her to match his aura if she has to be considered.
"Stay with me." He mouthed her as they guided them to the reception and then to the lobby.
"I am afraid, this should be between our boss and you.' The man spoke as he gestured Noah to take a seat and Lia to move out.
"I am staying with him." Lia demanded.
"No, you need to wait for a few minutes. Sir, I am sure you wouldn't regret this meeting and my boss have arranged everything for you."
It was like a click bait for him to hear someone being too impatient to meet him. The office seemed really big and finanacially well settled so maybe he could ask a return favor regarding the stone. He nodded and agreed to the man before eyeing Lia who had no interest in reading his expression.
"I will come back." he mouthed before walking away with the men.
Once again, she felt like an outcast, a totally different species and some one whom he didn't want to keep. She believed once again in him and all it took were a few minutes for him to wake her up from the delelu thoughts. Lia huffed before sitting down right there with an angry frown and hands crossed over torso.
"Maybe, I should really leave instead of listening to him." she muttered while taking eventual glance at the door which closed him to the room.
"Are you his girl friend?" a lady asked taking a seat next to Lia without an explanation.
"Who are you?" when it comes to manners, no one can beat Lia in having the least of it.
Shea didn't like the question which came out from a random girl because it reminded her of Ren. Ren knows they are just friends and that's the exact reason Ren gets on her nerves. Lia didn't want it to happen again with a stranger so she lied obviously to maintain her pride.
"Yes." Lia had a proud smirk on her lips while answering to that question.
The girl didn't seem to take that answer well because she didn't reply anything for the next few seconds as if she was trying to figure out an answer. She then scanned Lia from head to toes as if she was checking if they were matching and it hella made her uncomfortable. She knows that Noah looks Godly next to everyone so people wouldn't believe her to be his girl friend.
"You are lucky enough to have him." the girl mouthed before leaning closer.
"Why is that? Why should I be lucky?" Lia wondered what attracted people to him, his looks or personality.
If someone asks, Lia would probably give him a negative for personality and for looks, she had to give full points as much as she hated to do so. As anticipated she got the answers like 'he is handsome, cute, friendly, hot' whatsoever that no one really did see his true self.
"Is he putting on a show in front of me?" Lia groaned as she kept her glance back to the door.
"I will get going but there is one free advice that I would love to give you for being honest with me." the girl smiled at Lia who nearly choked on her own saliva.
"People will steal him from you." she muttered before walking away to another room next to the one Noah entered.
Lia had no time in thinking more about what happened because she only wanted to make sure that he wouldn't leave her for another. It is not like she is in love with him or anything but just that, she wants to have him with her at least till they get back to their realm. Lia knew days and nights were much shorter than this in their own world meaning they were almost away for a month.
"Hmm, thank you for the concern." Lia shouted back to her to hear it in the public, a way to keep her pride up.
Hours passed by and no one came out from the room making her more concerned. She was focusing if there would be any voice or disturbance from the room but there was none, almost as if everyone was sleeping. Lia could sense his smell very faintly from where she was sitting, indicating that he was alive.
"Are you plotting against me?" she asked herself and the thought of moon stone didn't even pass her brain even for once.
Lia was told that works gives money and for some reason, Noah was needing a lot of money to move out from Ren so she thought, he was working for it. He must be working since a long time to buy another house to live but then why can't people make their own house somewhere? That is what they do in the realm.
Soon the door opened and two men came out at first, few seconds later... a small laughter broke out along with which Noah appeared in all smiles and colours. He hugged another man who looked twice his size and age as if they were father and son. Lia frowned again as if it was her only job to do in the human world until she gets a hold of everything around her.
