Everyone was stunned at the scene unfolded in front of them.
Participant after another crowded to see what was going on.
First, someone dared to embarrass and humiliate an heir to the Viscon Family.
A family of feared hunters due to their skillful use of certain weapons.
Second, a direct member of the Pride Family has finally decided to join the academy.
"It has been years since the last member of the Pride Family joined the Hunters Academy and became a professional hunter," one of the participants from the crowd whispered.
Another spoke to his peers, "Aren't they considered as the most feared family of hunters?"
Others became curious at what made the Pride Family decide to send a member of their family.
For years, there has been no representatives from the Pride Family.
But now, they were watching a member of the Pride Family marking her first impression to everyone.
Tightening her grip around the wrist of Seth, Scarlett emphasized her displeasure from his previous attitude towards her.
Not only others were shocked at Scarlett's sudden behavior, Seth was also astonished at the unexpected response of Scarlett towards him.
It was his first time to be treated in such a way.
For most of his life, Seth was treated with pampering and high respect due to his family background.
"Hey, RED HABANERO! YOU FEISTY BITCH!" one of the escorts of Seth wanted to push away Scarlett from the dark-haired heir.
Scarlett did not appreciate the tone of Seth's escorts and the choice of words used to address her.
She was reminded of her childhood when someone tried to bully her in grade school. It was the time when she decided to stand up for herself and never let anyone treat her poorly again.
The moment she let go of the wrist of Seth, the escort of Seth felt the aura of Scarlett turn into a more intimidating presence and shift to an offensive stance.

She could not explain but her hands and feet moved defensively making it easier for her to sense the incoming attack. Allowing her to deflect an attack coming from Seth.

The red velvet-haired heiress of Pride Family wondered if her knowledge in fighting before living her new fantasy life was enough for her to fight back.
She only gave a restrained grin towards the arrogant heir of the Viscon Family as her response to his statement.
From a distance, Sir Dominguez wanted to stop the commotion but he was not in the position to intervene at all.
His primary task was to standby outside the premises of the Hunters Academy and provide Scarlett assistance when needed be. And Scarlett has already stepped into the borderline where it was already considered as premises of the academy. Making Sir Dominguez unable to intervene.
Or else, he will be considered a threat to the participants and may cause unnecessary conflict against another family of hunters. And by his perception, Scarlett was currently in a better position.
Unfortunately, the escorts of Seth stepped in and held Scarlett's arms from behind. Sneaking from behind her.

"LET ME GO! YOU COWARDS!" Scarlett tried to force her way out from the grip of the men behind her.
Seth stood in front of Scarlett amused at her fierce and fearless personality.

Instead of giving up, Scarlett had no signs of cowering down to Seth and his escorts.
"Try asking me that again when I am not outnumbered. Easy for you to say those words when you are surrounded by your own lackeys," Scarlett fearlessly retorted.
She added, "I GUESS THIS KIND OF THINGS YOU ARE ONLY GOOD AT!"
Returning his provocation, Scarlett smirked at Seth despite her being forced down to her knees.
Before Seth could do something else against Scarlett, a loud announcement was made.

"Greetings, everyone! All invited participants from different families of hunters for the special training here in the Hunters Academy may now enter and pass through the gates of Hunters Academy."

Escorts of Seth and even Seth were distracted by the sudden loud announcement.
Gaining the attention of everybody, except for Scarlett because she took the chance to knock out the two guys holding her down.
She released a strong low kick and knocked them down through her sheer strength.
Both men were taken by surprise and had no chance to overpower Scarlett.

Scarlett threatened to break their arms if Seth do not step back, away from her.
"Move away from me, if you don't want me to break their arms!" Scarlett twisted their arms while looking at Seth, giving him the option to choose.
And Seth stepped back.
A victorious smile was painted on Scarlett's face.
"That's a good boy!" Scarlett remarked to Seth before she completely rendered them unconscious through her powerful right chop, striking at their neck.

Two bodies fell to the ground unconscious.
Seth was speechless because Scarlett defeated her opponents without any weapons and despite being outnumbered. Most of all, without proper training yet, her strength and prowess in fighting were something commendable already.

"Once the gate closes, the opening ceremony will commence! And participants unable to enter may no longer eligible to proceed."

Immediately when the announcement ended, all participants rushed their way inside, including Scarlett, Seth, and his other escorts. Leaving his unconscious peers on the ground.
Signifying the beginning of the opening ceremony.
Upon entering and passing through the gates of the Hunters Academy, a huge and wide courtyard became visible to everyone.
No instructors nor officials were around to assist anyone.
Until the gates closed, a three-dimensional image formed by the interference of light beams from a laser and light source in few meters away.
"WELCOME TO HUNTERS ACADEMY!"
"COMMENCING… OPENING CEREMONY!"
Uttered by the huge image formed in front of them.
