Something about pandemonium and fear tends to bring out the heart and intention of a man. Consternation makes their real self to be brought into the spotlight, and fear makes man do things they would never do in the presence of other men.
"Get everyone uninfected out of here!." The black woman yelled, her scream penetrating through the screeching sound of strippers who shook uncontrollably on the floor. Coughing out red blood which was enough to make them choke on it.
The original host stood in front of the exit door, his long tongue swirling around freely, blood dropping from his mouth.
Other infected people with black eyes stood beside him on each side ready to block the door.
"It's a bloodbath!." The man said, "fix it!." The woman yelled, fighting off the swarm of infected people ready to bite at her neck.
The man snapped his fingers and time paused, he grinned from ear to ear, watching the slowed movements of everyone around.
In a flash, he was in front of the demon host and his entourage, pushing them aside with extraordinary human strength. He made some hand signs and stretched both hands in opposite directions, drawing electric blue coloured energy in both fists.
He exhaled, transferring the energy from his palm to the demon host. The blasts hit it's intended target, barely scratching him, the intensity of the blast ripped the shirt off him. Exposing his vein lines stretched across his chest, looking black and ready to pop.
The demon host screeched loudly, it's scream breaking the time barrier and restoring the normal pace of things.
"He's strong for a mere demon host." The woman companion said, regaining her senses, trying her best not to kill anybody while trying to protect the uninfected.
"Yes... we'll just have to evacuate everyone here instead." The man announced. He wriggled his fingers, drawing both sleeves back, examining the room.
He muttered some things under his breath, a huge wall in the club cracking open gradually, cracks splattered all around it.
"I'll create a force field to protect them, then we can go all out on that bastard." The man announced, creating a force field to protect the uninfected.
Now, his back was against his partner's both ready to attack and hit as hard as they could.
"Aaagh!!!." A feminine voice screeched from above their heads, both looked above to see the stripper from upstairs dangling from a broken handrail about to fall into a sea of demon possessed people.
*******
"Why can't I move any faster? Have I been paralysed again?." Karla asked as she found her motions paused while she tried to escape.
"No, by the look of it, everyone else is frozen too... what's going on? Who are those two? Can I even call them human?." She thought, trying to move her limbs.
The force pushing her back suddenly stopped, startling Karla, her brain wasn't given enough time to recover from the shock.
"Aaagh!!!." Karla yelled, as she found herself tripping and falling off the handrails.
Luckily, she was quick enough to latch unto a broken piece whose sharp edges cut through her palm, her blood dripping downwards, attracting the others towards her. They all encircled beneath her, waiting for a chance to tear at her skin and devour her.
The railing couldn't support her weight for a second longer and gave away, causing her to fall into the den of predators.
Karla screeched in fear, her heart beating rapidly as her life flashed before her eyes, and in her opinion, it wasn't such a great life.
Karla closed her eyes in fear, but in a flash, in a second, in that one moment, in place of sharp teeth tearing and biting at her skin, two strong hands enveloped her body.
Her body tensed up, she was now against something hard, her eyes flickered open to see what fate had befallen her, and she was appalled by it.
Red Eyes.
Her mind flashed back to some years ago, the red eyes she had seen in the forest when she was missing. She was certain that this was the exact pair, there was no second guessing it.
"Did you get bit?." The voice belonging to the man who just swooped in and saved her asked once their feet hit the floor, causing a dent in the steel floor.
Karla's eyes scanned the man from head to toe, he had a tattoo on his neck that made his facial features come alive.
"N..No." Karla replied, he placed her behind him, "stay close." Was all he said in a calm tone that intrigued her.
Nine possessed humans came at him at the very least, a very sadistic grin was plastered on his face, as his nails grew longer and sharper.
{He's equally not human.}
Were Karla's thoughts exactly once she observed the brief transformation, nonetheless, she stood close enough still maintaining a safe distance.
Before Karla could try and comprehend what he was or his next line of action, her eyes met six out of the nine demons on the ground, holding unto their bleeding necks, screeching out in severe pain.
She quickly tried to locate him, her eyes frantically searched the room for him to protect her.
"Let's get you out of here." The black woman said, coming out of nowhere, her blades held firmly in both hands to fend off the swarm of predators.
"Are they...are they okay?." Karla asked referring to the victims on the floor, who were fizzling out smoke from their necks, their pale skin looking paler.
"Worry more about your hand." The black woman informed her, reminding her of her bleeding palm and the other cuts from the broken pieces of glass.
Karla nodded, it was irrational to even care about them, the most important thing to her at that moment was finding a way out of this bloodbath...alive.
"This one's smells more repugnant than the others." The red eyed man observed while tearing through flesh to get to the main host who tried to break the force field.
"He's the main host, the more he smells the stronger he is. And be careful, he paralyses."
The main host attacked the force field brutally, but any time he did he ended up hurting his own skin, his black blood oozing unto the floor.
He swiftly looked over his shoulder, picking up the scent of another being in the room, a scent that sharpened his senses.
"Are you going to fight me or are you going to keep sending your demon harem towards me!." The red eyed man yelled, staring directly at the main host, who looked fatally deadly.
The man in a blink of an eye paralysed the red eyed man, stopping him from moving any farther, in hopes to tear at his skin.
But to his surprise, his opponent broke out of his paralysis and in a swift second, he sent a Superman punch to the demon's jaw, sending the main host crashing down.
Not giving the main host any recovery time, he picked him up from the ground, throwing him up towards the ceiling. He quickly bent his knees forward and made a forceful high jump, landing a kick on the main host's abdomen sending him crashing down to the steel floor, shattering the bones in his body.
He landed hard, causing the ground to vibrate, the red eyed man landed on his chest, his right hand digging into the host's chest, and forcefully ripping out his heart which was barely beating at normal pace.
Karla's eyes met his primitive eyes, and there was no doubting it when their eyes met, Karla could feel the familiarity of the past.
"It's him." She said under her breath, barely hearing her own voice over all the grunts and screeches echoing around the room.
