"Ice tea?."
A tray of two iced tea was presented to the parents of Leon, who sat opposite to the most expensive attorney in the capital. She had offered to take their case, seeing as no other lawyer was interested in taking their case.
"Thank you." Said the mother, graciously taking the victual from the tray, forcing a smile from her lips.
Her husband however was a polar opposite to her forced compliance, he didn't bother to conceal just how pissed he was. He had, bluntly refused the attorney's help initially, but with the developments in the case. Circumstances had forced him into accepting her help.
Charity was dead for all he cared and no one did anything without high expectations. He especially made the decision of not taking any favour from the woman, but his wife went behind his back and accepted the lawyer's help anyway.
