Feng Jiao reached for the bag slowly, as if the contents could jump out at her and swallow her whole. She looked cautious, like a kitten pushing over something to make sure that it wasn't alive.
She felt a little bit guilty for touching what she thought was probably not meant for her to see.
She thought that Gao Longwei had brought the books by accident, and that whoever the books really belonged to, was missing the books. How was she to know that each and every thing in the book was aimed at her.
They were aimed at Gao Longwei trying to pursue her without coming off as creepy.
Gao Longwei had no choice but to look around the entire store to find these books, but Feng Jiao was getting her suspicious little paws on them even before he could read through them.
He had only managed to open one of the books.
That was a slight problem for Gao Longwei, but Feng Jiao needed a break either way. She was either going to scroll on her phone for a while, or read a book.
