Michael's P.O.V
I took the liberty of asking for grandmother's audience as soon as Violet left the room. I had to go to the throne room where she was looking through some documents. It seems that there is some sort of teleportation medium in the castle, allowing the queen to directly go to her immediate destination. "I have to check that out later.", I whisper to myself brisk walking to where grandmother was.
The storm is slowly brewing outside and I knew exactly what Violet will do and where Draca will be at the exact same time. I know the two would cross paths so I made a rift in advance in their location connected to the one in my hand so as soon as I got in the throne room. Grandmother shooed all the other people away and made me sit down. She was surprised that I can control rifts but didn't press or made any questions because the show just started.
