" Surprise!", said Nathan, Miriam, Florence and some of my school colleagues. I still couldn't believe my eyes and I thought to myself, "no wonder why they all blocked me because they needed me to think otherwise or get me stressed,". It was the 'Z' surprise. Of course 'surprise' doesn't begin with a 'Z' but it was the final fun and that definitely made me feel emotional and there goes the tears flowing from my eyes down my cheeks. "We'll miss you so much ohhk, we pray for your safety," they all said. When I looked back, my parents were giggling and I immediately knew they were the centre of all that. Everyone one were happy for me, especially my parents and Nathen. But deep down I knew he was very hurt and If he could physically express himself, the whole airport would be filled with tears.
An hour had passed and the plane had arrived, the time had come for the last special hugs to my closest peeps. After saying all the good byes I slowly gave my back to everyone, and that's when Nathen called out my name, and said, " wait, I have one last thing to offer,". He handed over to me a nicely covered box which I promised to open as soon I got into the plane. " oh and one last thing!", he added, "You not getting our numbers back, you need space of your own now,". "ok that's it bruh," I thought to myself as tears began dripping, and before it got worse, I ran to the air plane.
I found myself a seat and we departed. Boring hours passed not to forget I was sitting next to a nurdy looking girl and of my age who kept asking questions. " Hey, I'm Catherine," she said excitingly. "oh, hi there Ca...taa...rin," I answered whilst loosing my tongue. She corrected me, " it's Catherine," and continued, " I'm heading to Korean Seoul, and you?" she jovially asked. " What a coincidence," I said. "Wait, you mean you're going there too? Wow. Ok where exactly?", she asked. " I'm gonna study at SNU Business Univer..." and before I could even finish my sentence she had hugged me shouting, "I knew God wouldn't let me down!". "What do you mean by that?", I curiously asked. "Well I prayed to get a new friend and here you go,". "Woow, woow, woow, we are not friends ok," I said, and she asked, " but why not?''. "You can't just befriend yourself with anyone, and besides, I don't think I can handle someone else, no ofense,'' I said. " Well ok, you say..but call me on if you need anything... I'll be right here," she said smiling. Honestly she was a weirdo because she didn't get offended at anything I said to her, except when I asked her about her huge spectacles.
An hour passed and she was starring at me with a -hey, what's- eye. "What do you want now Catherine?" I asked, and she responded, " oh wow, you just said my nameš¤, this is exactly what friendship starts,". "Like I said and she I'll say it again ok... weee...are....nooooot.... frieeeends," I boldened. "As you wish Madame,". " is that a good bye gift?", she asked. "Yeah," I said Sighing, and she added, "well I also got one from my brother...ok, on the count of three, we open them." "Naah, I don't feel like," I answered. "But who knows, maybe it's your favourite dessert," she said moving her eyebrows with a smirk. Ok, she was getting too comfortable and on my nerves right there.
