Chapter 8 - 8. THE CITY OF SEOUL.

"Wow, wow wow, is the plane landing, have I arrived, wait a minute, am I out to of Africa?", are all the questionings I asked to myself as the plane landed slowly. I was mesmerized by the buildings that I could only see on a picture. And when the plane had landed, I dashed to get out first and everyone thought I was crazy๐Ÿ˜„. But those weren't my preoccupations. Usually Nathen controlled me on any outing because I was all over the place, but here I was alone. So I just kept my calm just like he would tell me. The university had already prepared everything for me so all I had to do was get an uber and head to the address.

"Karen wait for me!", someone shouted as I got into the vehicle. It was her again, Catherine. "What the heck do you want this time?, I told you we can't be together ok,". I said hoping she'll finally be offended and leave me alone, but it wasn't the case. Seems like she fed on that treatment. "Well, I was sent a message to get to this address and get this exact Uber too...so seems like we are together forever yoh, come on let's go." she said as if we were long time pals. I literally had no choice then. " Maybe we'll be seperated when we get there so no stress," I told myself as I got into the car after her. I received a tonnes of questions on our way to the SNU (Seoul National University) from her as if I was actually in an interview. It's funny just to think that I was answering all those questions no matter how annoying they were. "Wow look at these buildings!", she said looking out the window and that was the first time she caught my attention with something reasonable. Seoul was magnificent and I felt like it was paradise, Catherine seemed to feel the same as me because she was over the moon. Finally we were led to our destination and we definitely didn't forget to say, (Gamsahabnida, ๊ฐ์‚ฌํ•ฉ๋‹ˆ๋‹ค) which meant thank you in Korean. "Please hold my bag," Catherine said to the school porter as she grabbed me to the magnificent front door for a selfie. Honestly, she tended to be pressing in both good and bad ways. "You could have asked properly for a selfie you know," I told her without properly pronouncing her name and she answered, " I'm sorry I couldn't help, this building is really beautiful." She was annoying but honestly she had a sweet smile at times. I just didn't want another person in my life. We got into the building and one of the supervisors welcomed us both. "How was your trip young Misses," she said and added, "We are sorry for unexpectedly changing our program but I and the other authorities decided to bring you together with other students in earlier than planned for Korean training sessions."

"Karen Dalli and Catherine Luna," she said sounding informal, "You two have an advantage over the other students because you're secondary students in Korean ( ํ•ญ๊ธ€) so you will await for a while as the others catch up to you." She added, "I see you noticed a little noise during your entrance, well those are our last year students and tomorrow is the day they graduate. You are warm welcome to join." "Thanks to you Misses Lee Subin (์ด ์ˆ˜๋นˆ)," I and Catherine said as she smiled and allowed us to exit her office.

"Wow, I have never met a supervisor that kind you know!" Catherine said hoping for a response. "Yeah, I really didn't expect such generosity," I said while imitating her actions and she laughed.
