"As I'm certain this is a overwhelming situation," King Jacob says bowing his head, "You all have my condolences for interrupting your daily lives. I have prepared a villa for you all to rest and mull things over." Turning he calls out to his daughter, "Princess Irene and Raphael, Could you show them to their lodgings for the time being?"
"Of course father," Irene says courtesing her father she then turns to us, "Would you like any of the Military leaders to come with to speak with you in a more relaxed setting?"
"Let me see," is say turning to my classmates I raise an eyebrow. "I think id be best if we spent some time settling in so nobody feels pressured, but is there anyone who would like to know more?"
Isaac slapps a hand onto my shoulder, "Oh there's plenty I'd like to learn from that he whispers," earning himself a swift elbow in the rib. "Ah, damn sneak attack," he chuckles "Seriously though? I think we should head to the place they got set-up for us and maybe have them come by later. We could meet them outside or something, those of us who want to know more I mean."
"Damn, Isaac had a good idea?" Noah jabs at Isaac with a light smile on his face.
"Yeah, strangely enough he has those from time to time," I chuckle. Observing my classmates faces some seem timid while others look fascinated. Turning back to the princess, "Miss Irene, if it wouldn't be too much trouble for them could we have Miss Elaine, Master Lito… and hmm The warrior Valeria and Johnathan visit us later in the day? If their schedules permit I mean?"
Seemingly oblivious to the utter hostility that Isabel is Emitting Princess Irene smiles with a slight flush rising to her face, "But of course Master Ezekiel, for now let us be off. I will Escort you to the Villa now." She begins walking out of the throne room.
Following her lead we walk out of the throne room, turning right and walking down a massive hallway. The walls lined with hand painted portraits, and ornate decorations as we tail behind the princess.
"So how old are you, Princess Irene?" Isaac asks walking beside me with his hands braced behind his head.
Slowing her steps so she can walk beside us, Irene smiles lightly,"I turn 16 in a few months. What about you Sir Isaac?"
Isaac nods his head smiling, "I am 18 same as these two," he gestures to me and Isabel with his chin.
"What is your homeland's culture like?" Irene guides us through a massive archway, the other side opening up into a massive room with stairs winding around both sides. A massive chandelier hangs from the ceiling, with more portrait's and small gardens filled with flowers.
I jump into the conversation with; "In our homeland, most are free to do as they please. there are of course Law's and a Judicial system to enforce those law's. We are considered 'Of age' at 18, there is a constant education system from roughly 4-5 years old until 18, which is followed by a more in depth education which you have an option whether you'd like to attend or not."
"I see, that means none of you are wed then?" Irene asks as we slowly descend the stairs.
My classmates enamoured by the amazing decorations, some gasping some stunned into silence. "Come on everyone, we'll have plenty of time to admire this place I'm sure," I turn waving for them to follow. "That is correct none of us are betrothed or wed as of yet. How much further do we have to go Miss?"
Irene smiles brightly, "It's just a small walk through the garden before we get to your new home. Though tis' not as impressive as the main hall of the castle or our ballroom, you should find it preferable."
