Han Xiao initially only intended to threaten Fighting Tiger and make him agree to fight for his club. However, seeing the fresh and clean young man sitting at the corner of the room, he was beginning to doubt if they had gotten the wrong person. Although, no one had ever seen Fighting Tiger's face in the wrestling arena, was he supposed to be such a young man?
But seeing the way he was staring at him with a cold and inquisitive gaze as though he wanted to see through him made him think twice.
Han Xiao held up the photograph once more. "It's best if you make a decision that favors us all."
Yan Nuan didn't even look at the photograph but stubbornly kept her eyes on him. She scoffed. "Do you think threatening me is going to favor you then?"
Han Xiao laughed coldly.
"Anything works. As long as I get what I want."
"Well, you won't be getting what you want. I have no idea who they are. And also, I'm not Fighting Tiger."
Han Xiao who was initially feeling doubt instantly became even surer that he was Fighting Tiger. After all, in the situation they were in, the more Yan Nuan denied, the more it felt as though she was trying to hide something.
Han Xiao leaned back indifferently. "Are you testing my patience?"
Yan Nuan also repeated his action as she leaned back, her posture giving off a lazy aura. She knew Han Xiao must have kidnapped Fighting Tiger's family to threaten him. Thus, although she wasn't him, she had to make sure that she got out of there unarmed whilst protecting the lives of his family. So, she would never reveal any weakness.
"You can do whatever you want. Not my business."
Han Xiao and his subordinates were left speechless. This person… why is he so confident? It's as though he wasn't kidnapped but rather here to chat over tea."
"Stop pretending. We've got them in custody," one of the subordinates couldn't help but say angrily. He immediately pulled out a phone from his pocket and waved the phone in Yan Nuan's face.
Yan Nuan glanced at the phone's interface and a cold glint immediately shot through her indifferent eyes. She saw a blinking point on an edge of the phone. It was recording live.
In the video, an old woman and a teenage girl were tied to a wall. Two burly men stood behind them watching their movements. They didn't seem to notice that they were being watched at first, until the man holding the phone yelled at Yan Nuan.
"Fighting Tiger make your decision fast. Otherwise, we'll finish them off.
The phone was taken away from Yan Nuan's face the next moment and the man returned to his position. However, the people in the video already heard the person say 'fighting tiger.'
The girl immediately cried out, "Big brother don't listen to them. We'll be fine."
She seemed to be about to say something else but a loud, crisp slap sounded suddenly came from the phone. Yan Nuan stiffened and pure anger oozed from her body. She looked at Han Xiao with a cold gaze. At that moment, all she could feel was anger.
"Fine, I'll do it. Let them go," she growled.
Han Xiao immediately revealed a smile. He got up, dusted his coat lightly and beckoned to one of his subordinates. "Untie him."
The subordinate approached Yan Nuan carefully, slowly untying the rope used to bind her. Afterwards, he immediately prepared to retreat. But, Yan Nuan was faster. She immediately hung the rope around his neck, pulling him in and held him custody. She coldly snorted and faced Han Xiao.
"You still intend on keeping them hostage? Let them go and I'll spare his life."
Han Xiao was initially taken aback. But, he remained calm and beckoned to the other subordinates to close in on her. There were about twenty of them. They immediately surrounded her on all sides, with baseball bats in their hands. This was done to prevent her from escaping through any direction. However, it didn't seem to freak her. The man in her custody tried to struggle but she suddenly lifted her palm and struck one of his acupuncture points. He immediately fainted.
She released her hold on the rope lightly, circling around the man leisurely. Her expression seemed relaxed as she stared at the subordinates. Her hawk like gaze was fixated upon them, watching their movements; figuring out which one of them will lose guard first. Her gaze stopped on a stout man. Nothing about him seemed abnormal but Yan Nuan noticed that he was interchangeably resting on his legs. Fatigue.
She smirked. He must have probably just woken up from sleep making him uncomfortable as he stood. She didn't look away and he also couldn't help but panic as her predator like eyes stared at him. His grip on the bat slowly shook and Yan Nuan found her entry. She immediately snatched the bat, wrapping the other end of the rope around him too. It was a very long rope with the other end lying on the ground.
Han Xiao who had been standing at a side disinterestedly hurriedly reached out to pick it up but Yan Nuan didn't wait for him. She kicked the two men in her custody towards him and the three of them toppled instantly. She immediately grabbed the bat and charged at the rest.
Pa! Pa! Pa!
Three minutes later, all of the men were lying on the ground, groaning with pain. Yan Nuan stood in between them, without even a single scratch on her. She was considered tall and coupled with the stoic expression on her face, she seemed very dazzling. At some point, Han Xiao had gotten up from the ground. He faced Yan Nuan bitterly, his cold aura completely vanished.
"I don't want to fight you. I promise I'll let them go the moment you win the fight."
Yan Nuan laughed mockingly. "Why should I agree to such a deal? I can beat you up now and find them myself. Why should I agree to do something that doesn't benefit me in any way?"
Han Xiao stood up completely and he said, with a resolute voice, "Because you'll never find them without my help."
