Chapter 2 - the ghost in the villa Pangandaran the end

The others enjoyed the atmosphere so much that it was early in the morning until noon at the beach, but I was still thinking about what had just happened at the villa. Not wanting to spoil the atmosphere, I insisted not to tell my friends. Long story short, that Thursday morning we spent enjoying the beach atmosphere. After that we went back to the villa. It's still 12 o'clock, we have arrived at the villa. But, while the other friends immediately rested, I instead went around to look around the surroundings. It was then that I realized that the backyard was very wide, so that the fence was barely visible, because it was far away and also covered with trees and weeds. Several large trees stood upright, making the atmosphere a bit shady even though the sun was scorching hot. I kept walking around looking around.

The part that is still near the villa does look well-groomed and neat, but it is different when it is a bit far away, approaching the fence, weeds and weeds grow tall, dry leaves are scattered. "Wow, Pak Ilham takes care of cleaning only those near the villa." So I muttered alone. I stopped when I was only a few meters from the fence. The wall fence that should be white, but is already dull looks. The fence isn't high, it's only about the height of an adult's chest, so I can still see the scenery beyond. Continue to look around A warm breeze blew, blowing the leaves up. Every now and then I wipe the beads of sweat that fall rolling down my face. The atmosphere was very quiet, there was no sound other than the sound of tree leaves blowing in the wind, really quiet. Really like this kind of situation, no noise, no deafening noise.

I'm happy, what a relaxing atmosphere. While kicking dry leaves with my feet, I slowly walked along the back wall fence, from right side to left side. "Oh, why is there a house?" I stopped in my steps, when I saw a building outside the fence, to the left behind. The distance is not too far, only about 20 meters from where I stand. The building is in the form of an ordinary house, not multi-storey, not big in size but not small, the roof is made of dark earth tile. The front wall is dull white.

I can clearly see everything because this house is not fenced, only the weeds stand a little tall which slightly blocks the view. Likewise, this house stands alone, there are no other buildings on either side. What is a bit strange, if you pay attention, it turns out that there is no access road to the house, there is absolutely nothing even though it is only a footpath. All around him is just waist-high weeds of bushes, like I said earlier. Seeing everything, I came to the conclusion that the house seemed to be an empty house, uninhabited. At the front, there is a door and two windows, one window looks like a bedroom window, the larger window is the living room window. This large window is in the form of a wooden frame with a glass surface, some of the glass is broken. "It's scary how empty the house is." I thought to myself after seeing everything, then intended to walk away from there.

***

But, when I was about to take a step, I saw something, It looks like someone is in the house. Is there anyone in the house? Isn't that an empty house? Yes, that's why I became interested in paying attention, instead of leaving. Although it's not very clear, but I can see a small child is standing behind the glass window, standing still with a face that can't be seen clearly. To be sure, it was a girl, dressed in dark overalls, her hair flowing long. He just kept standing, seemed to be standing looking at me. We stared at each other even though the afternoon sun was reflecting off the glass windows. Who is that? Whose kid? Why was he alone in that empty house? Many questions in my head, We were in that position for a while. Until finally I heard a scream calling from behind. "Neng, be careful, like there's a snake behind there."

It turned out that Mr. Ilham, he was already standing behind the villa, I don't know how long he had been there. "Yes sir." I replied smiling at him. I took a few seconds to look away from the figure of the little boy, only a few seconds. But, after I looked back at the empty house again, it turned out that the girl had disappeared, not to be seen anymore. "Sir, who is that behind the house, huh? Have the owner of this villa too?" I asked Pak Ilham when I was with him. "No, bro, that's a different owner. I have people from Bandung too, but they haven't been taken care of for a long time, I don't know why." Answer Mr. Ilham. "So the house is really empty, sir? Nobody lives there?" "Yes, there is nothing, neng, the house is not very well taken care of." I did not continue to ask questions, did not dare, afraid that Mr. Ilham's statement would later scare me. Better to shut up and not talk about it anymore. Then I entered the villa, while Pak Ilham prepared grilled fish for our lunch menu. "Al, let's go ahead for a moment. Take me to buy cigarettes." That afternoon when we were gathering in the living room, Devin suddenly asked me out. "Do you have a car?" I asked. "Just go ah, just go to the front shop." Devin replied. Yes, we both walked to the shop in front, Bayu and Della stayed at the villa. The small shop we were going to was probably about 200 meters away, a bit far indeed, this distance gave us time to have a long conversation. Long talk? Yes, it turns out that Devin asked him to go with a purpose, he wanted to say something. "I want to talk to you here." As soon as Devin said open the conversation.

"What the hell Dev, bumps." "I don't want to talk in front of Bayu and Della, just you first." "What's the matter?" I'm getting curious. "Do you feel there is something strange about the villa, don't you Al? The honest answer is yes." I was a bit surprised to hear Devin's question, we stopped walking for a while because of it. "You said that?" I asked back. "Since yesterday we came, I have a bad feeling with this villa." "Not good how?" "It's not good, it's a bit scary feeling." Arriving at the shop, we then sat at the coffee shop next to it, continuing to talk there. "Well, last night I think I saw a ghost, Al." As soon as Devin said to the point. "Ghost? What ghost? Where?" I asked. Then Devin told a long story. Devin said that when he came home from outside to buy drinks with Bayu, he saw something. Incidentally, last night it was Devin who sat behind the wheel. When they arrived in front of the villa, Bayu went down to open the fence so the car could enter. Well that's when Devin saw something on the upper terrace, he saw a woman standing alone. At first, Devin thought it was me or Della, because when they left Della and I were indeed on the top terrace. But after the car's headlights were really shining in front of the house, he finally realized that it wasn't me or Della who was standing. "When I checked again, it turned out to be not you, because she looked like a child, still in elementary school, female, with long hair. He just stood there, silent on the terrace above."

"Serem Al, it can't be a person, it must be a demon, hiiii, I'm getting goosebumps again." That's the story of Devin. Hearing that, I finally told him all the events that I had yesterday and this morning, about the sound of footsteps upstairs and in front of the toilet, as well as the appearance of a small child in an empty house behind the villa. "Well, it fits, it turns out that you also feel it. Wow, how are you Al? Where have you paid until Sunday, this villa. Seriously, I'm scared." "Well come on, don't worry about it, we're just having fun, ignore it. I hope it doesn't show up again." So I answered, pretending to be tough. Why did Devin decide to just tell me everything? Because Bayu and Della are very cowardly, paranoid. If they find out about this incident, they are guaranteed to immediately ask to leave the villa immediately. Nightfall, Friday night. Around nine o'clock we just arrived at the villa, since half past seven we spent time on the beach. Deliberately visiting the beach to feel the atmosphere at night. But, when we arrived in front of the villa fence, we all stood still, didn't go straight in because something was strange, we saw the villa was in complete darkness, none of the lights were on at all. "Why is it dark? We've already turned on all the lights." I said starting the conversation. "Yeah, I'm sure it was bright, all the lights were on." Bayu replied. "Lights out maybe?" Della asked quietly. "No ah, all the lights on the other houses were on all the way here, why don't we just turn off the lights." Devin finally spoke. ADVERTISEMENT "Yeah, it's not a blackout, it's a TV that's on." I said then. Tv on? Yes, it turned out that I saw light from the living room, from the window with the curtains closed we could guess that the light from inside came from the TV screen that was on. How come? All the lights are off but the tv is on alone?

***

For a moment, Devin and I looked at each other, throwing the same gesture, an odd gesture. "Come on, come on in, maybe there's a terminal that snaps." As soon as Devin said, try to calm down. We finally got in. That's right, after being inside, the bright light that was seen from the outside turned out to be from the tv screen. And that's right, all the lights inside are off. Hmmmm.. After that, the four of us immediately turned on all the lights, made the whole villa bright again, then went about our normal activities as usual, trying not to think about the strange things that just happened, especially me and Devin. Then the night was getting late, we were still talking in the living room downstairs, in front of the tv. The breeze was stronger than the day before, the cool breeze coming in through the ventilation holes. "Tonight the wind is strong, yes, it's cold too." said Della. "Yeah, it's chilly." I chimed in. "Guys, tonight we just sleep in the same room, okay, so we can chat while waiting for sleep." Devin throws an idea, I seem to understand what he means. Devin seemed to be starting to get scared, his face looked at me a few times with a strange look, like giving a code. ADVERTISEMENT Right, I get the point, we both thought that sleeping four of us in one room might be able to avoid something unwanted. It can't be denied, after the incident all the lights went out but the TV was on earlier, I felt more and more uncomfortable, the more I realized that there was something strange about this place. Thankfully, Bayu and Della agreed with Devin's idea, so we finally decided to sleep in the four of us, sleeping in the upstairs room near the terrace. Around eleven o'clock, we all entered the room, all the lights we left on. In the room, we were still talking for a while, but then one by one we finally fell asleep. We all fell asleep.

..

***

At first I didn't know what time it was, but suddenly I woke up. The room is dark, only a little light from outside helps vision. I took the phone that was lying beside the pillow, then looked at the screen, it was still one o'clock, we had only been asleep for about two hours. I was sleeping on the side of the bed, I could see that Bayu and Devin were still in their respective positions, sleeping on the floor. While Della and I are on the bed. But wait, it turns out that Della isn't next to me, she's not in bed. Where's Della? "Ah, maybe he went to the bathroom." That's what I thought to myself, seeing that the bedroom door was slightly ajar, maybe it was a sign that Della was indeed going to the bathroom. From the gap in the door I could see the living room light was off, it was dim. A bit of inner war, my logic says it's impossible for Della to leave the room alone, if she has to go to the bathroom she will definitely wake me up to accompany her, it's impossible to dare to be alone. Then why is the bedroom door open? But I kept forcing myself to think positively, trying to get rid of the bad and scary thoughts that kept pushing into my head. I can only be silent, waiting for Della to return to the room. One minute.. Two minutes.. Three minutes.. Five minutes passed, still no sign of Della coming.

Starting to get more scared mixed with panic, the next minute I intend to wake Devin and Bayu, so we can find out where Della is together. But, before I woke them up, suddenly my attention was distracted. I saw that someone was standing outside, standing in front of the door.. Is it Della? No, it's not Della. There was a small child standing in front of the door, in the dim light I could still see it clearly. The girl is wearing a dark colored dress, her long hair flowing back. I stared at him, the girl remained standing still looking at me. For a while I was hypnotized. We look. Until then, suddenly he smiled, laughed.. "Hihihihihi.." Then run to the left, towards the stairs. I kind of gasped, then realized, then shivered with fear. Then my body went limp. A few seconds later, my heart seemed to have stopped again, because suddenly the girl appeared again, this time she was running to the front porch, running laughing happily. I'm getting scared.. Only a few seconds later, the child then appeared again, again running towards the stairs, I saw all of that was still from the gap of the open bedroom door. The tension didn't stop at that time, it still continued. A few seconds after the child seemed to be running quickly towards the stairs, I suddenly saw Della, he walked quickly from the terrace to the stairs too, from his gestures he seemed to be chasing the girl earlier, Della was heard laughing softly. "Della.." Reflexively I called him. But Della was indifferent, she continued to jog towards the stairs. I was curious, then stood up and headed for the door, not yet daring to go straight out of the room. From the door I poked my head out, looking down the stairs.

I saw Della standing still right in front of the stairs, she didn't move at all facing the stairs down, her back to me. "Della.." I called her once again, but again she didn't respond. Finally, slowly I dared to take a step, to get closer to the stairs, where Della was. Very slowly I walked, fear and curiosity mixed into one. Until then, I was finally just one step away from being right beside Della. But, at this position I stopped, motionless, my eyes fixed on where Della seemed to be looking there too, to the bottom of the stairs. My breath hitched, then I felt the heat suddenly flow from my back and then spread to my whole body, I saw something scary at the bottom of the stairs.. There was a woman standing, a woman with a terrible face, grinning with a sinister expression. The female figure is not alone, her left hand is holding a girl who is standing still, but her small laugh is heard softly giggling, "Hihihihihi .." We stayed in that position for a few seconds. Until finally, somehow getting strength from where, I grabbed Della's hand and pulled her back.

Della seemed to be in an unconscious state, but her eyes were wide open, her face expressionless. I kept pulling him towards the room. Once inside the room, I closed the door. "Bayu, Devin, wake up..!" With a low voice, I woke my two male friends, shaking their bodies. "Della why Al?" Bayu asked when he woke up from his sleep, he was strange to see Della standing in the corner of the room. While Devin, he immediately stood up and looked for the car keys, he seemed to know what was going on. Then, Della wept softly, but still didn't say a word, just cried. "We pull it out, we leave this villa." Devin said. I agree. Bayu was like that, without asking much he immediately stood up and got ready to leave the room. "You go first Dev. Be careful on the stairs, they were there." I whispered to Devin. "You and Bayu bring Della, okay?" Devin said again. Bayu and I nodded slowly. Then we left the room, Devin walked in the front, Bayu and I followed behind him hugging Della who was still crying. We arrived at the place where I had previously seen a scary figure with a small child, the stairs down. Thankfully, the two figures had disappeared, no longer in their place. We hurried down the stairs and walked briskly to the exit. Outside, we got into the car, Devin behind the wheel. Then slowly the car left the villa yard. When I was outside the fence, I, who was sitting in the back seat, looked back at the villa. At that time I saw the figure of the woman with the little girl again, they were standing on the terrace, hand in hand, watching us as we walked away. After it was far enough, then Della seemed to realize. "Why are we in the car? Where are you going? What's the matter?" Della asked, she didn't seem to know at all about the spooky event that had just happened. ***
