Jenny slumped on her bed after an hour. She had searched the whole mansion but failed to locate where Jason was. She was so infuriated that her face flashed red. She couldn't believe that not only did Novoscar refuse to help her, the butler and the maids had all gone missing and the mansion felt like and abandoned place.
Deciding to let it go for now, she went and showered, changed into homey clothes then descended the staircase. On her way, she ran into one of Jason's men....but in seeing her, his eyes widened in shock which he tried to mask immediately. Jenny looked at the man suspiciously, she knew not everyone was permitted to make their way to the second floor, so what was this one doing here.
Excuse me. She initiated the conversation.
Oh, sister in law! You are back. He stayed with a rigid smile.
